I'm summerstorm in the pic, loved this build and was happy to help with the finishing touches lol
I haven't been on these forums in years, but I am thrilled to see it is as vile and venomous as ever.
Blessings have been asked for for months if not years. If it didn't happen then, I doubt it will happen now.
still waiting on literally any impactful content. after months.
If the dice are going to be digital, might as well make the whole game virtual. Wait, how is this more fun than the actual game?
I like it though.
Ok but like any good parent would just drop it and go home. If your kid doesn't wanna go to Disneyland, they're not going. Simple enough.
The modern day wouldn't exist without the industrial era. You say we're in the industrial era but "not really" and that's because we don't have automation. Humans are supposed to be lazy, and our era is defined by progress in the name of laziness and comfort imo. So, when we get automation, we'll advance.
ay yo jason FUCKS
As if there could ever be any long lasting partnership built upon the common desire to ruin a third party. Even Steven Universe predicted that doesn't work out.

Coconut bras?
Now that's what I call progress.
I find that specific colors of clothes suit different skin or hair colors (as is often true irl too.) My top picks are yellow/orange clothing for black people. The warm, bright tone on dark skin is very pretty, and this goes for golden crowns as well.
For brown people, I like to see them in green and sometimes yellow as well, it seems to naturally be pretty on them.
Redheads of course should always wear blue. This is true in real life too: orange and blue are complementary colors and look very pleasing together on a person.
Whites don't look good in anything. Their sickly complexion is despicable and their strawlike hair is an offense to god. If you are white, simply strip naked, lie down on the ground and rot. You'll have a better shot at being beautiful in your next reincarnation, maybe.
I feel like there's something quite oedipean about having your mother follow you... maybe I'm just twisted.
I like that this fanart also highlights how the game has evolved from tribal people to town dwellers.
Good catch. Maybe the odds can be adjusted to be 66% different model, 33% same model as yourself? Just to still enforce some amount of visual change between each generation.
Perhaps your definition of "playing the game normally" isn't sensitive enough to how other players will perceive you/your actions. You have to remember, they don't know your intentions, so maybe try using more communication before taking precious objects such as carts.
The obvious answer to this is "no time", or "too complicated", but if you really don't want to interact with others, Donkey Town might as well be a good solution, right?

I guess that would be as a baby
Of course, but in the context of this question I was thinking of elderly people, especially those between 50/55 and death. Their contributions are fairly minimal at this stage because they need to pay attention to their pip bar if they don't want to die early. Especially if nobody needs them for removal notices or peacemaking, they simply end up chit-chatting by the fire. I find that to be lovely, but if ressources are at risk of running low, perhaps elderly suicide might be the best solution sometimes to avoid draining of food.
You mean, at what point do you become more of a burden than an active help to the village.
I think you don't consider the main reasons for the premature death of the new players: boredom and frustration
maybe new players commit suicide on purpose to see if in other cities they get more fun
Sometimes I log in, realize after 10 years that there's nothing new, log out.
Grim I admire your ways.
And I'm just sitting here and wondering why a cherry tree is suggested instead of an apple tree. Sure you could also do marmelade with cherries which is kinda nice, but isn't the apple tree a bit more common in general and also think about the apple pies! mmmhh...
If you haven't noticed, Jason likes to add very specific objects to the game, which is why he went for "gooseberries" in the first place rather than "apples", which are really just a placeholder for "fruit" in games most of the time. He wants to make everything seem original.
Wool in the desert? The most logical clothing in the game right now for desert exploration is the ghost costume, as it is a flowy garment that allows ventilation whilst shielding you from the sun.
I'm willing to bet people wouldn't starve as much if the screen wasn't as zoomed. It narrows down your worldview too much.
Actually gingers are rulers because they are the only ones who can make crowns.
Also Jason is trying to make ginger into a race. Ginger people are white too. The Arctic people should be Asian like Tibet.
Are you implying that black and brown people are more of a race than ginger people, even though race is an outdated concept that doesn't even exist outside the US?
Nothing that hasn't been complained about before.
Make a good tile inside a bad biome, walk there over the bad tiles while holding an item, click another bad tile while walking over a bad tile?
The idea is to change direction while walking over a bad tile.
You can't walk over to a good tile in a bad biome without clicking the bad tiles. Your character will always try to go around it, and if there's no way to get over there, you'll have to forceclick them through the bad tiles.
