Don't do this. You're preemptively destroying the game for people who have a legitimate and developer-supported use case, simply because of your perception that some unknown proportion of them are "griefers" - which, in your mind, is barely distinguishable from "new at the game".

Ok dude take a breather. This is pretty funny and great ingenuity, no one's game is "ruined" when they can EASILY switch servers or quit and re spawn. It's all a part of the roll playing fun and seeing what weird things you can do in-game. You can't dictate how other people should play the game "morally"
Before more storage we need food decay. It hurts the game to have infinite mutton laying around you know?
I agree, food decay (slow) and better storage options like seed pouches would be awesome. And if Jason incorporates food decay, then he can add something for players to combat it like a cellar, where boxes/baskets of food can be placed inside for long term storage. They can be built into the ground like a well but only require stone and some wood for a "door". Left clicking to place inside and right to cycle through what's hidden inside like you would a backpack.
I think it would be very beneficial to be able to up and down vote posts in the forum, similar to reddit. There doesn't have to be threads, but I think it would make it easier to identify ideas that a lot of players support and to make it easier to build a community on here.
Every time I read through the forum and want to spit ball ideas and fixes for the game, I am faced with the problem that I cannot like/upvote posts I agree with. I believe that adding upvotes or likes could help with identifying ideas and sentiments that a lot of people agree with, pulling up some of the really great ones from the sludge of “this game suks” that can sometimes drown them. I also believe that it could better facilitate the building of a community on here as well.
I’d like to see the culture of the forum grow along with the culture of the game.

You named me Rose, and I believe I was your first girl. You allowed me to grow up and we built a beautiful farm from nothing. We had more children but they either left or died, so in the end it was just the two of us, working on the farm and catching rabbits. I know that you almost didn't keep me when I was first born, but I am glad you did because we went on to build something beautiful together that our children and grandchildren may not be able to use, but someone will come across it and thank the stars that we did. We both died of old age, leaving the world better than we had found it.
