Anyone here remember West? They used to be such a prominent Eve player, with lineages everywhere that were always lasting for a good amount of time. Haven't heard from them in ages.
Im still lurking around 
Aint playing much tho, every now and then I'll do some farming or smithing, but I get bored really quick atm...

interesting to see someone 'kill as many girls as possible' and still consider themselves the victim o_e
The way I read his Story:
He got cursed to DK for doing absolutely nothing. Ofc he could have just disconnected, but he would still be in DK. So he was like "I got nothing to loose now" and started his killings.
I personally had this happen to me before, and did exactly the same.
(I know some People dont agree with this, but it still is only a game, and if u make someone the bad guy dont be suprised if they gonna get ya)

Blackpowder and rockets!
Rockets could be salutes. They could give a temporarly home marker for anyone in a specific distance. (like 15 min or so)
Another type of rockets could be used for fighting. (Attack rocket) You launch it and it travels, lets say, 100 tiles North, where it explodes and destroys/kills anything in a 4 tile radius.
Crafting rockets does not Need any new resources added, its all there allready.
Blackpowder:
Bowl of Sulfur + mashed bowl of coal + Niter = Bowl of Blackpowder
Explosives / Flash powder:
Bowl of Sulfur + Alum + Niter = Bowl of Flashpowder
Salute Rocket:
Paper + Skewer = Paper Tube / Skewer
Paper Tube + Blackpowder + Skewer = Rocket engine / Skewer
Rocket engine + Skewer = Rocket on Stick
Rocket on Stick + Bowl of Blackpowder = Salute Rocket
Rocket on Stick + Bowl of Flashpowder = Attack Rocket (This rocket may Need a launch pad for the direction)
There could also be colourfull Rockets
Bowl of Blackpowder + different metals = XY Stars
Rocket on Stick + Stars = Red/Green/Gold Rocket

I dont think this needs fixing. Very few people actually use it, and for those who use it, it really is a nice feature of the game.

Been there as well. I was Hope Kane III, dedicated that life to smithing.
Someone tried to make another knife, I took the file to stop him. He then took the hammer.
A few minutes later he returned the hammer and got a free knife, since there was a spare one. I just cant stand wasting another steel for a blade when there is like ten knives around.
That life was good, the killing was crazy tho.

Isnt the /die command only for babies?

All the new players need to learn, that you cant keep every baby. So many towns die of famine since the release.

So far I really like the way the release goes. What do you think?
I have seen a lot of expirienced players teach their kids, and always ask their babys if they are new.
Most players actually listen and try to help out.

Spot was perfect, only bits of desert in a swamp, with like 20 ponds real close.
Forge was about 20 tiles away, at the border to a green biom.
Idk where he got his info from, but at least I know now, that the was no update/change to farming. Thanks.

Thats exactly what i thought, but my son was really into "farming in the desert is bad", so I thought I missed something.
He did not seem new either, he knew his stuff, thats why I´m asking here now.

I was just told that building the farm in the desert is bad, because it wastes water.
Instead of a desert, you should choose the swamp.
Is this true? How does a farm in the desert waste water?
I tried to get an explanation, but got called stupid and threated instead.

Just by reading this, I have to say that I dont like the changes.
The only thing I agree with is, that there were too many veins. A vein should be special.
But if a vein is found and made into a mine, then it should give a lot of ore imo.
Maybe there could be another upgraded stage to mines? Or even a few. This could go on top of the tech-tree.
It takes a long time to make a vein a mine. Getting loose iron for the tools, getting rope for the bucket, rope for the cart.
Therefore it should really boost the town, when a mine is build. But now they give half the amount of ore and tools even break twice as fast, so its like 10 ore before the changes.

Gave you many kids anyway. Just sabotaged her side of the lineage a little. Sorry I was angry about It, had to write something because she upset me. Wanted to kill only her but she died so I took my anger out on her children.

Was in a great village, tons of carrots, just doing my job. Suddenly the picture faded, I was like What the!? Is my Pc broken ?

There once was a little girl.
She was lost in the woods. All alone, noone around. So she cried and cried, but then stopped.
The little girl had lost her hope, she knew she was going to starve.
It was at that moment, when suddenly a man appeared.
He took the girl, and rushed back home.
He placed the girl on a warm tile and fed her. His name was Bob.
The man managed to take care of the girl, and do his job. He was a baker.
Bob took care of the girl, which he named "Lucky", even tho Lucky seemed to be asleep. But Bob did not care.
Then suddenly the girl heard a scream. And so did Bob.
Bob rushed south to investigate. He found a blody mess, and a boy holding a blody bow.
So Bob stabbed the boy.
Since Bob stabbed the boy, he now could not eat anymore.
This is when Lucky decided to wake up.
She immediatly grabbed a berry and fed bob. Like he had fed her for many years.
Bob was happy that Lucky finally woke up.
Lucky responded with, "Now i feed you, like u fed me".
When Bob could eat again, Lucky moved back to her tile.
She stood there with a Bow, just like she was asleep again.
Bob got worried, he started to feed her again, but Lucky told him that she is all right.
So Bob went back to work.
When Bob became old, he said his goodbyes to everyone, also Lucky.
Lucky told him that now she will take care of him. And she did.
She took his bones in a basket and held him, on the tile he had choosen for her.
The village did notice what Bob had done, and decided to build him a shrine.
That shrine consists of stone walls, in the north of the village.
Once it was finished Lucky buried Bob with two villagers.
They marked his grave, with uncle, and placed a note:
"Bob, the saviour and loving father rests here."
Shortly after Lucky happily died of old age, just south of Bobs shrine.

Only if you are a EVE and die of old age can you spawn as an eve in a town
