To get rid of the zoomed in box click: shift + ?

To get rid of blue arrows: / then hit enter

As for the tabs over the home markers that’s something awbz needs to fix within the mods coding. I just try to pick up different things until they move over so I can see the marker again

#2 Re: Main Forum » How many old players still play? » 2019-06-20 12:21:00

I started playing in late May 2018 I believe. I remember playing two lives before taking a break from the game for a week or so to “study” up on how to play. I was very overwhelmed at the time, I can only imagine how new players feel now. I was heavily invested in the game after that for a while but around the car update I took a break for a few months. I have recently gotten back into playing on low pop servers.

#3 Re: Main Forum » Griefer signs detected against plausible deniability » 2018-12-12 15:22:44

A few of these I personally wouldn’t consider griefing but of course everyone’s idea of it is different but,

Don’t forget:

*force feeding people pie, stew, etc... to dispose of the food
*taking baskets full of pies and running off with it
*pulling all berries off bushes and leaving them all over the ground to despawn & killing bushes

A while back a griefer almost killed an entire town by doing these

#4 Re: Main Forum » WHO WILL RULE US » 2018-12-12 03:52:27

Generally, leaders can be a bit annoying and usually I don’t enjoy them but...

“Omn satan” would be very interesting to say the least. I think it would be hard to carry out in game tho. Also jasus would be a fun thing to play out!

#6 Re: Main Forum » Questions about spawning and world persistance » 2018-12-01 17:53:24

Jason has made the spawn gap between eves smaller so you are more likely to run into other eves and/or have civilizations closer to gather. Spawing is random but I’ve had cases like that where I’d spawn multiple times to the same mother/town. You don’t get lineage banned until 30 years of age or from being murdered/killing someone.

To my knowledge there is no set date, times, etc... when it comes to sever resets. They used to be more common but he hasn’t done one in a while. More than likely they would happen during an update. Whenever he feels it’s nessesary

I'll share some of mine.
This week a batch of male quadruplets were born in a medium sized town. The mom named them and ran off. Two of the boys died to starvation at 3 and 5, two survived; I was surprised to see that they didn't run to die after their brothers died.
As adults, I couldn't tell anymore who was a quad as we had so many same skinned men in the town, me included. Then I started seeing bloodied remains and people getting stabbed. I had a medic spot set up (goddamn peeps took my med needle and thread for saddles and clothes so I had to hide one for spare and keep making thread) so I healed the ones who were smart enough to come to me for heals.
Naturally, you'd think it's the leftover quads killing everyone as adults, to revenge and get back to their quad.
A lady I tried so hard to heal kept running around a man, her killer. After she died, a same skinned man as the killer informed the people that the killer is now dead.
I passed down my knives later to this guy (his backpack broke so I took his knife and had 3 to give) and died to old age, going to check the family tree to see who had killed whom.
The man who got my knives was the last surviving quad. His only quad brother was killed by the same skinned killer. They probably communicated about it so the last quad could end the killer. They played all the way until their deaths and helped the town, only killing the killer.

Hello! I was the quad that you gave your stuff too, I believe my name was Tyrone. That was a quad set with a streamer so I didn’t really care if they died lol... is that harsh?

I do agree that taking on mulitiples is a 50/50. Before the steam release I never kept twins because there was a high chance of them being griefers but since the release I’ve been a little more lenient. I’ve seen twins be an amazing addition to families but I’ve also seen twins destroy towns. It’s hard to abondon them now because there are many players that will swoop in and feed children no matter what you say.

#8 Re: Main Forum » Baby Slings » 2018-11-28 20:46:27

We’ve brought this up before and I think this would be a wonderful addition to the game, especially now. Before the stream release it wasn’t such a tough task getting your child to sit still on a perfect temp tile. I’ve noticed with all of the new players they constantly want to run around as babies and expect you to feed them the second their first bar drops off.  they are a bit needy at the moment lol! Of course this is after I have explained to them the importance of finding a good temperature, I wouldn’t expect them to know beforehand.  I find it nearly impossible to get things done as a fertile female with three children screaming “F” every two seconds because their freezing cold. So some sort of sling would be a huge benefit and it would be nice for the baby also, being able to see the town without the worry of not finding its mother to feed it

#9 Re: Main Forum » Bulletin Boards NEEDED ASAP » 2018-11-28 18:25:14

+1 I think this would be very beneficial but I’m sure something like this could easily be ruined by someone taking off the note or messing with it and putting nonsense up

#10 Re: Main Forum » How do eves find cities again. » 2018-10-29 16:15:50

When you die of old age as an Eve your next Eve spawn will be to a home marker where a past Eve had died from old age. It could be an occupied village or an abandon one. So whenever you grow old make sure to keep an eye on your food bar... there’s been a few times where I died at age 59 and had to start all over lol

#11 Re: Main Forum » Suggestions for babies » 2018-10-18 19:50:41

Most simply need scarves for carrying infants. It must be something simple to do even in the Eve camp. For example, three rabbit fur + two pieces of fur + thread with a needle = a sling to carry children

+1! I’ve always wondered if something like this would get added. I mean it’s not a must have but it would definelty benefit mothers who have a large list of things to do.

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this also but it always seems like my wild eve spawn lineages last much longer than when I eve spawn in a town. Always found that interesting, I would expect the opposite.

Dear Sister,

I remember mom dropping me off in the berries, quickly running back to her important task of finding the forgotten things. That’s when you came along shouting about the man with the bow. I was worried and made sure to always avoid crossing paths with him from that day on. Day after day I watched him, wondering if he would ever put that scary weapon down. As I grew older it was apparent he was becoming more agitated. It was only a matter of time before he would snap.

Years later I remember seeing our pie baskets dwindling in size quickly. Wasn’t long before we only had a few left. The town was in panic as we watched Jacob ride around with almost all of our food. He had broke. He laughed at us, jumping off to grab more pies then jumping back on. It had felt like a never ending cycle.

Life before my eyes seemed to go in slowmotion as I watched him jump off and swiftly put a knife to your gut. It had to end then, before it was too late. Within a matter of seconds my blade pierced his skin. He yelled and screamed at all of us gathered around his dying body. Thankfully the children had healed you in the meantime!

Before we knew it, life was back to normal, life was good.

I passed the crown down to Elizabeth like you asked and passed the knives out to the children Incase something were to ever happen again. Life was hard after you left, but I stuck it out till the end.

With much love,

Your little sister

The second I was born my mother was shot with an arrow leaving me an orphan. I sat and cried in the berry bushes hoping someone would find me. The town was quiet and empty... for a second there I thought I was the last one until I noticed Scott Shin, an older gentleman who appeared to be a baker.

Waddling over to him I wailed, “F!” Without hesitation he began to tend to me, feeding me berrys faster than I could chew. That was when I came to the realization that I was the last girl. The last ounce of hope this place had. Scott scooped me up in his arms, “You are Hope.” Little did I know those were going to be the last words he spoke to me.

When I was big enough to see over the top of the berry bushes I noticed a boy. He was maybe a few years older and looked like me. Faster than I could spit words out the words, he was gone. That’s when I heard the next blood curdling scream.

As fast as my legs could take me I ran back towards the sound. Only to find the boy, I had seen seconds ago eating, lying motionless on the ground. The same red liquid that had leaked out of my mother was leaking out of him.

I couldn’t stay. I wouldn’t live another few years if I did. Grabbing a bowl I quickly filled it up with berrys and headed as far and as fast as my little legs could go. Finding a nice green biome with lots of berry bushes it seemed like the perfect spot to stay. I spent most of my time hiding behind trees, only coming out when I needed to eat. Time goes by slow when all you’ve got to do is watch leaves grow.

Within a blink of an eye my first daughter was born. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. The reminder I needed to keep going. In the cold and unknown she began to wail, “Shh” I begged her! Scooping her up in my arms and calming her down. I spoke quietly in hopes he wasn’t around, “We are hiding from a bad man... We need to be quiet.” Being a baby of course she was confused but she was a good girl and listened. I named her Poppy, Poppy Shin. As I began to feel more at ease with our surroundings I explained to her how we had a home but it wasn’t safe to go back.

Poppy was growing quickly and was a very smart little girl. Right before she hit adolescent age her younger sibling was born. The familiar wails pierced the silent forest, “Shh baby.. We have to stay quiet.” Another girl! The future was starting to look bright for us Shins. Looking into my little children’s eyes I swore to myself I would make sure every last one of them made it back safely. Her name was Lily.

Before I knew it my girls were children and I was raising a son named Finnley. The girl’s were smart and quickly started to get to work on a bow. We spoke of the town and how we would head back soon. My son seemed to be the most eager to go back. In the moment I thought it was a bit odd but I brushed it off to the side. Perhaps it was the curiousity getting the best of him...

With the bow and arrow partially made (arrow was missing the feather). We began to make our journey back. On our way I gave birth to another girl and named her, Nina. She ran as fast as her little legs would take her. She was a fighter and I always admired that about her.

Poppy and Lily began to have children of there own. My first granddaughter was Lila, she looked just like her mother when she was little! And right after her came out my daughter Mia was born. There were 6 of us at this point. My little family was growing and I swore to get them all back safely.

We stopped at a man made berry patch a few tiles down from the city. That’s where we found the feather for our arrow and stopped to eat. I recognized it from when I was a child and announced to everyone we were close and to be careful. Poppy held the bow, ready for anything, as Lily and I took care of the children. We arrived back to a ghost town.

It was evident the murderer was long gone. We all rejoiced as everyone began to spread out and explore their new home. The girls where having children. The future looked well for us.

Years later, That’s when it happened, the red liquid from my past was back. My daughter Mia was soaked in it... a knife wound. I ran to her asking who did it, the last word I heard my daughter say, “Finnley.” I was frozen in shock. It couldn’t be true. But she had no reason to lie. Terrified I began to look for the bow and arrow. I couldn’t let the past relive itself!

By the time I was back there was one girl left. My daughter Lily sat with her twin boys. I searched for my son, finally seeing him I took the shot and missed... loosing the arrow in the process. Panicking I searched for another one but couldn’t seem to find one. I didn’t have time to make a brand new one! That’s when I heard it...

The scream I knew all to well. Running back north I watched as my son ran away wounded. She had did it. She had saved us! Running to get her food I fed her and my granddaughter. I told her how proud I was of her and how she was is the only girl we have left.

I lived till the ripe age of 60. I was able to meet another grandson and granddaughter. I had wished to see all of my children grow old with there own families but unfortunately life works in mysterious ways.

I was born into a very large city, one I’ve been to many times before. My mother had given me the name Diana Sterling. She was a good mom, very tentative and kind. From a young age I watched her pull carrots from the garden, eager to be able to help her one day.

That’s when I met you, Baden Sterling.

We chatted, with what little we could say, from across the garden as our mothers worked. Those few seconds sparked a wonderful friendship. When we grew older we met again in the berry garden, you asked if I had a job. Finally having my own freedom I had ran away too fast before my mother could give me one. I simply told you no and asked if you did.

That’s when I remembered the house I was building a past life that was never completed. Excitedly I told you about it, quickly filling a bowl with berrys, in hopes you’d go with me to see it and if it was ever completed. You jumped on my invite and away we went.

The house was how I left it, collecting cobwebs with no purpose. That’s when we agreed to build it together. That it would be our house. Getting right to work you started to collect wood for the floors while I found rocks for the walls. Within no time we started to have children and the house was put on pause. Our children had become our priority. We proudly showed the children our home and told them they were more than welcome to stay with us. Or if they wanted to live in the big city they were more than welcome to do that also.

Many of my children ran off into the woods giving me time again to tend to the house. A few years went by, I’d see you in town teaching your son. I was excited for you to come back and see how much I had gotten done since you were away. It was actually starting to look like a home.

People were starting to take interest in our little house, asking what we needed and how they could help. It was such a nice gesture, people helping us make our dream come true. We talked about building a little garden with a fence next to the house. We thought corn would be the perfect fit.

Within no time we were old and gray. Wondering down to the kilns I found you with your son. We commented on how old we were getting and decided to enjoy our house one last time together, completed. It was beautiful, many of us gathered inside and celebrated its completion. The last step was a door.

I had run down to get a berry when I heard you calling my name. Running back up to the house I noticed the large wooden door you were holding and eagerly trying to put on our house. “Hurry!” You explaimed as I ran around search for stakes to complete it. It was too late...

By the time I got back, I watched you fall to the ground. My friend was gone, heartbroken I died at 59 minutes. Too sad to pick one last berry.

Such an amazing life and another reminder why I love this game so much. All the different lives one can have and how they play out in the end. All so unique! I had a great time playing with you Baden:)

I, Monica Just, was there during her rampage and was also trying to kill her. It was very strange. I would try to stab her and all of a sudden she would disappear and then reappear a few tiles away? Could that have been some kind of glitch or something to do with lag? I’ve seen plenty of lag but nothing like that

I do have to agree with you Doctor Steve she is terrible

Sorry to hear about my brother/your uncle sad Griefers suck... The Green family is still doing very well, I have spawned two more times there since my death.
