I was just reading previous post about the cursing system being extremely skewed based on whoever perception of right and wrong the drama and getting involved in conflicts gets you cursed, griefing system is already rampant despite this system and seeing it being exploited regardless
Maybe we can expand more on the roleplay aspects of the game we have Lords and Lady as the leaders but perhaps we can expand further where they can assign guards that have the ability to curse and kill troublemakers without needing permission bonus would be if we can imprison or jail them maybe just some rope to bind their hands like under arrest, you could go further into adding other roles whether the community would want task orientated like Cook, Smith, Hunter or just a rank tier system like peasants to nobles idk if you can create like a counter for how long and how many lives you are reborn contributing to a particular family to increase that rank maybe having a low tier rank can limit your ability to pickup knives, swords, bows also horses and carts it wont completely remove the damage a griefer can do but can limit it because at the moment its getting ridiculous to even progress in any town without someone trying to kill everyone.
Leadership succession - lineage versus diplomatic atm its a mixture of both but very little pay attention to it that basically becomes inherited by someone nobody really chose, whether previous leader has more of an option to choose their successor from the family tree or if when a leader dies a vote can be called to like an interest point
Marriages would be kind of cool to implement so far females makeup a more important role being able to drop babies would be cool to implement males more with a role although I guess as I think about it would be incest inside the same familyu but could be a way to combine different families and if different races children have 50/50 chance to be born as either colour
Anyone has anymore ideas or suggestions to expand on it would be welcome just spitballing some rough ideas
Dogs more useful than just aesthetic and griefing it would be nice for them to actually do something beyond just taking up space with all the shepherds and pitbulls could be used to assist in fighting off or scaring bears which are a common griefing method, perhaps some dogs could be trainable with a master to follow them around maybe able to put a carrybag on them help transport items particularly for smaller breeds maybe some can be used to find other animals like turkeys be able to detect close by.
Cats would be cool maybe spawn in the jungle kind of life wolves just sorta wander the biome and have to feed them maybe fish and then babies milk to domesticate, maybe they can sit on shoulder and provide warmth maybe they just increase warmth to general area make a craftable pet bed that both cats and smaller dogs can be placed in for a small buff.
Oceans and rivers would be cool I know we get water from wells but having a way to divide up the map and towns a little more kind of stranding newer eves to a sorta specific locations instead of wandering miles and its all sort of same same, then when more advanced can build bridges for crossing, rafts can add in other sea life crabs, lobsters, prawns
* Multiple stabs required to kill a victim - maybe 1 stab for babies 2 stabs for adolescent and 3 for an adult maybe downhill again 2 for first elder stage and 1 for last stage. This gives a response time to alert town of murderers, and lets the knife tool actually be used as the tool it was intended to be, also allows for accidental stabs sometimes people just walk right in front of you as you try put it away or use it to cut/butter bread misclicks happen especially with lag.
* Armour - Maybe with the Big Logs players can carve and make wooden shields by adding a hilt or sow it to a leather shirt to make for plated armour, the wood plate will break after one strike from a knife or bow protecting victims, then can add a higher tier with iron make steel armour/shield maybe gives 1 extra strike and blunts the blade which needs to be sharpened with file to fix. Make it you can't wield weapons with shield, and steel armour makes you slower, or maybe just not be able to wield armour and weapons at all together. Enough people would have to deem you a threat to strike you multiple times to break armour then kill you.
* Duel Options - a way to have a one on one fight with another person to settle small disputes which often turns into a fatal stabbing/shooting and a wild town drama could be as simple as someone steals your resources/items without asking, takes over your farm plots, decides to interfere with your building, runs of with your child. Maybe we could make boxing gloves with leather or something and the looser gets some sort of penalty idk.

Any plans to release this game for console? in the future distant or otherwise?
You need factor in that you can't ride a horse in the early stages of your life but need to be in the early stages of adult, then you need to have a horse and the saddle to ride this can take time depending on the luck of your spawn village. But yes you can make it if you get a very early start but itd be at the end of your life cycle completely nullifying reasons for travelling you will rock up to a new town and die or be to old to produce kids or contribute much.
Every town iv been to has tried building a bell tower straight away, reasons i get given are when town is dead from griefers killing all the women or just generally town stupidity being the cause, say ring the bell hopefully russle up a stray eve, most often then not now when i spawn in bells ring 5-9k away. Its still a bit far.
What is the point to a big bell it is impossible to reach in the length of the player lifetime. I tried twice once by foot got just over half way ended up running into a wild animal and died.
Tried again thinking a horse might be better still no luck still took a lot of travel time and still only managed to get over half way until horse ran over a snake RIP don't think I would have made it before i aged anyway.
Its all in the luck of the draw if you get dumb babies, new babies, griefers/trolls or you get a straight run of smart children that can manage their food and avoid doing dumb things like running off through a swamp or mountain biome with a small stomach there's no pick up and eat food in this biome you will die, you can't stand around at base camp and just eat all the food even if theres a farm early game, if the populations to large you need to be exploring getting needed resources and foraging food for yourself outside so town food rations go to women raising babies.
Yep we started a civilization in tutorial it was rather funny, was definately a unique way to start the game first mission was to break free from the tutorial are, I raised one child inside which was very very helpful in starting a civilization, we had water and soil outside and iron so we decided to stay since we had a set up and tools already inside tutorial area and protective walls.

Some advanced respawn options might be nice having New players have the option to not spawn as an eve but increase their odds of ending up in a town where odds of surviving are greater and they have time to learn and play rather than starving a starter village when they arent being very useful with their time, or just straight up die soon as we spawn in because they run into wild animals, dont know how to use a sharp stone to dig up carrots, start a base near no water.
Might help to have more larger towns grow when more advanced players decide they have more fun starting a civilization, sometimes when you spawn into a large town you aren't sure what you can do that hasn't already been done or the job you want to do someone is already doing and you just get in the road, resources are stripped for miles around.
May get less griefers stop some just doing it out of boredom in a big town.
