The poll is very skewed since people who stopped playing aren't likely to see this poll and the "main" audience that will see the poll is people actively involved with the game => More likely to get a "I'm satisfied" response.
#bringbackthestreet
You forgot the option in the poll "Never used it, but hell I wish I could" I really think a 2x zoomout would just improve the quality of the game and the interactions, more often than not I struggle seeing long sentences since people walk away from the screen. Please keep it going AND compile it for Mac :3
It's been like this since forever, it's an intended interaction and a realistic representation of how soil pits are in real life.
There's a surface soil and a subsoil that's usually made of clay or other materials (that aren't in game yet).
It is up to us as community to better teach new players and I agree, more players should dedicate their time to teach skills to others, we will all benefit from it in the long term.
More like redirect to https://onetech.info Teaching new players is impossible, best way to learn this game is to do a solo eve run on a deserted server and make everything by yourself with the help of onetech
Nobody cares
I'd like to see some tech advancements update rather than another "infesting tiles with cute animals to the point of hating them" one for the moment to be honest eheh
I would like stakes to stay in the same shape when picking them up, like "road stakes" or "east-west stakes" instead of default stakes every time. since most of the time you do multiple buildings of the same type
This is the solution I like the most to be honest, would be a BIG quality of life improvement.
+1 love it.. turnips, beets, carrots, and potatos prefer sandy soil as well
Oh actually didn't know that, sandy soil could be used for turnips / beets without changing carrots/potatoes.
They've been around for 10,000 years.
Yep, that's why I think it's weird that such an important and ancient piece of technology is still missing.
Thanks everyone for the positive feedbacks
I'd be more in favour of something simpler like emojis in a text bubble rather than facial expressions
Silos for storing grains would be more appropriate than a clay crock, but yeah definitely would like to see some kind of improvement in moving around/storing wheat
I'm pregnant
Congrats!
I'd be VERY interested in a zoom out option for Mac
Here's the link on the reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/OneLifeSuggest … nd_update/.
Appreciate all feedbacks
Good luck managing a kid that jumps out EVREY millisecond
Good luck developing a better bot "Min life time that counts as time served to thwart simple auto-clickers."
Tree farming needs to happen!
Ocean is certainly something that could be a biome type. There could be coconut palms that grow near there with leaves for weaving... and Rattan.
Now I want an ocean biome with Palm Trees (and palm leaves), Coconuts, Seashells, Fishing and DEADLY CRABS
I'm so glad to see how salty you are, hopefully a ban in forums will come soon as well then you'll have the Holy Trinity of bans: in-game, on discord and in forums
As title says, semi-tame wolves aren't killable and yet they're deadly.
For the sake of statistics, this would make a better graph rather than a single year
A proposal could be to MAKE some dog breeds deadly, instead of picking one and making it deadly by default. A possible way to turn some breeds deadly would be hitting them with a round stone.
That said, we could make deadly only the pit bulls and german sheperds with the stone thing (since rottweilers aren't in game as far as I know).

Perhaps the best way to contact jason with this idea is by Email and not forum post. I think he doesn't check the forum as often as he does his Email :b
Ye I tried to send a DM on Discord, I'll try to contact him by email in a couple of days if he still doesn't see this.
Thanks, for those kind words.
I'm sure we've crossed paths many times, and will do so again.
I'm generally Eve Sol, and name my kids after the planets, or various other celestial bodies and/or Greek and Roman gods, if I get through Mercury to Saturn.West must have been the one that asked if I was pein. XD
Good times.
Oh I spawned as your kid at least three times then, I doubt there are multiple people who call consistently their kids with planet names and are named Sol
Creative Commons - Includes stories, fanart, anything involving roleplay, possibly mods
Help & Guides - Would contain guides and be the place to ask questions if you need help with something.
Suggestions & Ideas - Anything involving new or changed features in the game or forums. I never did understand why these were on Reddit when the official forums exist.. Mods could go here as well, perhaps.
General Discussions - Miscellaneous threads involving anything else.
I like these categories more than the ones in the original post, I added them in the original post as another possibility
What is the +1 for
+1 = I support this idea, I'd like to see it implemented
I'll try to be as brief and complete as possible.
PROBLEM:
The threads from users right now are overly cluttered in one single big messy category, which is Main Forum.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
Adding more categories, the proposal that emerged from a (heated) discord discussion was:
- Main Forum < [Would be used for everything that doesn't fit the other categories]
- User Stories (different from the handpicked ones) < [Would be used to gather life experiences, stories, cults propaganda and similar]
- Suggestions & Ideas < [Would be used to freely discuss potential game implementations or ideas about the game]
- Guides < [Would be a much needed section where to gather material for new players]
Elaborating a bit more on the problem, and why it is important not to ignore it.
I can say that personally, not only I'm not incentivized at all to use the forums, but I am actively discouraged to post anything seeing how messy and disorganized (and full of compost) the Main Forum category is. I think that forums could:
- Become a powerful way to make the game easier on newer players.
- Be a better place where to build up a community.
- Have more solid foundations to potentially host more members.
Imagine the experience of a new player jumping for the first time on this Forum, it wasn't a good one for me and I'm ready to bet that it isn't a pleasant one for new players.
Here's an image (posted as link since it's very big) that Joriom made displaying how some of the latest threads could be easily organized better:

That said, this is my proposal, I'd obviously like Jason to read it and not ignore it, but that's not what I expect to happen.
Thank you for your time.
EDIT: Another proposal
