a multiplayer game of parenting and civilization building

I'd be interested.
The only reason I don't believe this game is literally a human experiment for a PhD in human psychology are the lack of an informed consent form in the EULA. It, however, may still be a book or series of post-project blogs.
And the second I start thinking I'll come back and play this happens. Back to waiting.
Still waiting for the plow. Horse or engine based.
When I played with a group on a low pop server last year we spent half our time trying to thwart some bored griefer who spent most of their time trying to wipe the server. It made one person quit streaming the game entirely because it made the server a target.
I suppose one good thing about the masks was that it made making rubber fun, thus expanding the number of people who now know how to make rubber.
I'd say that's an F1 right there!
I love all of these ideas and the depictions are hilarious.
On the main servers, VOG is Jason observing us and he's got some nifty tricks. It's fun! VOG stands for Voice of God.
The only thing I can think of is that months ago, Jason said
Yes, this is coming in the future.
My idea was some kind of rabbit hutch....
In reply to MistressZeus's suggestion
It would be awesome if similair to how you can domesticate sheep we could catch Rabbits and raise them for meat an fur instead of always going to a rabbit hole. Like if a rabbit family hole is snared you can either leave the baby to grow or catch it with a nap sack (not in game as of now). Then you can place it in a fence or hutch (which isnt in game as of now). and it will continue to have babies inside the fence who will then also have babies etc etc. to be used for meat an fur. Love the idea of being a rabbit breeder, providing meat for pie maker an fur for the tailor. NO NAKED BABIES!!. The domestic rabbits wouldn't need to be snared once int he fence you just walk up an hit them on the head with a rock, skin them with flint an well la! Domestic rabbits can be picked up an held (you have to have a carrot in hand to catch them. if however the rabbit is unable to be caught it will make a burrow near by an turn back into a wild rabbit (some sort of time frame from escape an turning wild) If the rabbits got loose carrot farm beware!!! This is where they will be drawn to.
So I'm not going to be up in arms about this quite yet, but honestly rabbit hunting has always been one of my favorite activities when the drama of town gets too much.
^ This is closer to what I imagine.
Potato sprouts and split potato sprouts can't be put in containers. Yet again the humble potato vexes me.
Hats off to the builders this arc. City walls look great, amazing really. I've seen some beautiful parks and treescapes too! Little waysides along the road just make that travelling less desolate feeling as well. You really have outdone yourselves this arc. Great job folks! I think my favorite spot was the nice little oven room for making rubber.
Too long have things felt so impermanent with all the war and lines dying out due to baby shortages. I think with the longer arc we can really get back to building amazing structures. I kindof held back this time and just kept to making order out of chaos, but next arc, I'll be ready.
Yeah it was really weird. Maybe Apoc got disabled so the Pax people can see developed towns?
Sacrifice them to the Nosaj?
I prefer my onions diced and sauteed in butter but it's a start.
1) A player is griefing, trolling or generally being a nuisance. Some examples are:
-taking baskets of pies from the kitchen
Pies should be distributed to where people are working. A few surplus in the kitchen is fine, but distribution is better. Send kids out to retrieve the baskets and plates!
White bowler hat looks cool with a white dress no matter the biome.
So the game is now Survival Game of Parenting and PUBG? Am I reading this correctly?
Oh dear, you seem really worried that someone doesn't find that particular brand of humor funny. Just a touch defensive too. Everything ok?
Just a quick question, but how many of those hunger deaths could possibly be due to starving before the death timer finally makes you kick it since you can't eat when you're wounded?
I finally decided to see what Jason's previous work, Castle Doctrine was. I've seen references to it on the boards over the last several months and I got curious.
I believe one reviewer referred to it as a wife murder simulator and that it was all about greed and paranoia. Sounds about right.
It certainly did clear up a few things for me about the intended direction of OHOL. It was a fun run and I got my money's worth, so I certainly won't complain but I doubt I'll get back to playing on the main server. Just not my cup of tea I guess.
Before the Spring Door update, the Pine wall could be turned into a pine door and was unlockable. Therefore it was the only 'safe' door that kept people from locking up a nursery or the forge or bakery.
I would totally play as a dog in this game.
Suggestion:
Well at least it's not anything important.
I already know and use roman numerals. I am old. My brain is not as elastic as it used to be. I'm just going to use what I learned when I was a kid. Thanks but no thanks.
