a multiplayer game of parenting and civilization building
You are not logged in.
When playing through steam, you should just have to launch the game and then press the LOGIN button. It should auto-fill all of your email and password information.
For the ohol site version, you have to download a version of the game that is compatible with your computer from the page that gave you your log in information. There should be a few links at the bottom. That version you will have to unzip, and launch Onelife.exe that is the game client. You put in your log in information on the main screen that loads up (it might take a minute to download all the updates before the main screen appears) After putting in your email and password you just press LOGIN.
You have to complete 2 tutorial lives before actually getting into the real game, so don't get thrown off if you're not born as a baby the first time you log in.
You did buy two copies of the game though. You can email Jason for a refund of the one you bought off the site, or steam allows refunds of games that you haven't played long.
If you have any other questions, I recommend joining the ohol discord. It is a lot more active, and you'll likely find much more help on there. More drama also to be fair lol
Legs is Forman. No one can change my mind on this lol
Ah yes, Forman. Great choice of character witness LUL
Speaking of antisocial, how is he doing? I haven't heard from him since he got banned from discord for doxxing

You're playing our wholesome village sim like a social deception game where the goal is to murder or run off every innocent player. Have you been playing too much amongus? All I did to piss you off was tell on you, and now here you are telling on yourself. You can't help it. You're a bad liar and it's so obvious. It's fine if you just want to sit next to the fire and gossip. It's a bit sus when you were naming all your kids gay, moron, useless, etc and abandoning them to die. It's transparent now that you're stealing items, actively murdering, gaslighting and brigading people. Have you considered that maybe you're the piece of shit?
There have been a few kids named gay in the past week. None have the same mom.
Moron isn't a valid name.
Useless isn't a valid name.
Unless you have proof to your claims, refrain from shidding yourself while pointing fingers next time.
Everyone stopped playing? Then why do you care?
Just give it up. You don't even make sense.
Most of the people on the main ohol discord know who Mouse is. He was a mod. Good luck trying to convince anyone that one of the nicest people in the game is a griefer lol
You don't need to be phex administrator to see someone's chat hash. You are way too paranoid lol
I can quote Jason too.
" And finally, there's a new, more detailed food consumption log, which will allow third-party statistics services to compute some interesting things. The log gets populated on a 24-hour delay, but data will eventually start posting here:
http://publicdata.onehouronelife.com/foodLogDetails/
This was partly inspired by DopiePanda's amazing work on this new leaderboard and stats site:
https://oholcurse.com " -- Jason
That was fun.
The amount of hosting power it would take for Jason to give everyone their own private server would be insane.
I enjoy the community aspect of the game. It's basically the whole point. We've seen what it's like for people to work together in the game. It's now time to see how people work together ON the game. I can't wait to see where AHAP goes.
I changed RIP to KYS. If i knew he was dead i wouldn't have done this.
Why exactly? You don't care about him enough to say kys but now that you know he's dead you all of a sudden care? Literally makes no sense and you're a pos either way lol
You can download the oxy files from discord. Most of the mods on steam people have also posted there. Just pop the oxy file into the folder in your game files named mods. They will take effect when you load up the game.
You have to put the yumlife file in the Ohol folder with the Onelife exe so it can pull from the same files the vanilla client does.
There is a guide on the github for yumlife https://github.com/selb/YumLife/#instal … d-updating
What if I grief the officers? Wouldn't stopping me be against the rules?
Thank you, Jason!
The way it was first suggested was what made the most sense. Let use cycle through each race not each mother before repeating. This would get you to every town unless they are split, or you're blocked from one due to fertility or curses.
There will never be an end to /die. As long as it is in the game, people will use it.
Yeah people /die after 2 minutes to be nice....
Keep telling yourself that.
The vast majority of people who /die are not doing it to be malicious to their mother.
Most players who /die are just trying to get back to the town they were part of in a previous life. New players use /die for this purpose the most. A lot of veteran players will /die as a male because you cannot have babies. Some players /die just to tank their gene score so they don't get leadership. There are so many reasons for a baby to /die. Abusing it just to annoy people is not a common way I see it being used.

(...)One player blocks the second player from being able to access their base.(...)player's don't "own" bases, you may be in charge of a village when you are an Eve or village leader, but once you're life is over, it's not "your base" anymore, it belongs to your descendants, and even if you're reborn in it again doesn't make it "your base", sadly I see this happen a few times, a player feeling entitled to own a city because they were the Eve of that family and started to build the town and thus want to continue to build it "their way" often not caring about how others are trying to shape it in a different way from their designs.
Fug was not talking about bigserver2. He was talking about low population servers where you have no decendents 99.9% of the time. This mechanic blocks people on those servers from Eve chaining a mechanic made specifically for continuing the town project you are working on.

I don't understand. Explain? Are you not born to a mother? How does this prevent you from returning to your "Eve chain"?
Here's the issue with how Jason did the change:
Two players have two separate bases on a server and play solo.
Player A joins the server first and is an Eve, Player B joins the server and spawns as a baby but wants to spawn to their town.
If Player B uses /die they will end up an Eve (yay) but will be a donkey town eve (boo). If Player B dies in donkey town they will then return to player A once again as a baby. Player B cannot play as an Eve until Player A is infertile as the game will repeatedly spawn to the Eve players.
This is obviously a problem. One player blocks the second player from being able to access their base. Worse yet: If Player A doesn't feed and raise Player B they will die (duh) which will mess up Player B's Eve spawn location.
By doing this the way Jason did he basically blocked two players from playing in two separate towns on the same servers, has enabled players to troll others entering the server, and didn't fully address the issue.
On the main server it solved the issue of the same player spamming bones on the same person which is obviously good. However this fix makes it harder to roll race/gender for a specific town which is another issue. Basically if you want a town to last a long time you should basically never play male since women can give birth. On the flip side, some players go for ginger male to drill oil easier without screwing a bunch of random players being spawned in the middle of nowhere (since an oil driller will ALWAYS be in a fertile band if playing as a woman.)
We also still have the lack of feedback for vanilla players. A modded player KNOWS whether or not a family still exists with fertiles so when they use /die they have an idea to see whether or not it's just being unlucky/cursed. A vanilla player using /die has no idea if the family they're going to is alive without checking a waystone which means they need to wait to be able to leave town to even check if they should be using the /die command more.
I'm pretty sure it's being spawned in as a dt Eve that ruins your eve chain. You don't have to live to 60 if you are another player's baby, only as an Eve. But this is basically my main problem summed up pretty well thanks!
It does reset your eve chain FYI to anyone else playing on other servers
How, the TheSamWish? You can just keep typing /die after getting to Donkeytown, right? Or you could wait before your first respawn to ensure your target mother is ready for birthing.
You are not seeking a mother on low pop you are seeking your Eve chain.
So it still sounds like a net improvement to me, unless I'm missing something?
On low population servers (basically every server besides bs2) people eve chain. You can not get back to your base while there is anyone else online now. You are forced to play with them or suffer in DT. And I'm still not sure if going to DT as an Eve resets your Eve chain bit if it is the case then my town is lost forever.
This destroys small servers unfortunately
Already sent to donkey town after one /die on server 9 trying to get back to my eve spawn. Thanks I hate it.
I've seen a town Marquis did on server 9. He does have ideas. That town I don't think got finished but I loved the direction it was going.
