I know you read the forums, I saw your accounts created today. If you want, respond here for a regular conversation about what you want, what I want, what is your point of view and what is mine. No playing victim, bully etc. just try to have a normal, civilised talk.
Wow I cant wait to see this thread being necroed a few months later. According to their behavior in here you can probably tell how they acted on Discord. A person acting like a victim and trying to convince people to think they are a poor victim is in the majority of the cases actually the offender.
I am pretty patient and I think I always at least try to talk to people who I dont agree with to figure out a logical reason for their opinion or behavior, but when the other person DOES NOT listen, or even continues with said behavior I usually just give up, because its a lost cause to try and explain something to someone if they dont hear what you have to say.
In all the moderation cases that I'm aware of, the person in question was being disruptive.
"retraded," and that stuff, is just jack-ass mod-baiting
I mean, what kind of specific rule could we even have to cover the retraded thing?
"Don't bait the mods?"
that's vague, right?
"When the mods tell you not to use an offensive term, do not try to use all sorts of creative misspellings of that term."
I mean, you really want rules like that?
"I'm going on a trip to visit NIGER tomorrow"
I mean, rules can't cover every way of being an annoying, disruptive jackass
people will always get creative!
This above can all be found in Villanelle's crime list. search word "niger" on discord, they did exactly what jason says here in the rules.
Apparently they are "a jason's fan" speaking about his book, view on game, yet did not read his very own rules? I am quite lost in your logic, its a mess.
Well, I expect to see Villanelle3 responding soon. If you have at least 1/10 of conscience inside, you try to work this out like a regular person. No more "third world" "Im a victim" "everyone but me is mean" crap. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
Locked doors are not in the game to serve as a vault, its just a protection against people walking by not to take the stuff inside.
In order to unlock a door not only has the person that does it have to know the lock and key mechanics. They also have to go back to their town, which in your case will be at least 0,5 k away to get all necessary parts, they also need to make the blank lock and key since its not usually just laying in the town.
The difference between locked and not locked doors is the effort that went into making the lock and key and trying the combinations, griefers even when aware of those mechanics are probably not interested in forging a lock and key just to steal some stuff from cabin in the middle of nowhere effectively not killing any town, its just not worth it.
Also the "investment" of locking the door is the same as the one unlocking it, you need one lock and key in either case so it seems rather fair to me.
I think the solution to this problem would be sth like a warning or a message that lowpop is on/off since this heavily favours people with mods and at lower numbers vanilla game is just unplayable in terms of getting other biome resources.
I would imagine something like: "The number of players just decreased below/hit 30. Waystones are disabled/enabled. You can/can't interact with other biomes in 10/20/30 seconds"?
Lowpop is something very usual nowadays and I think it would need this kind of warning to prevent for example your truck from being stuck in hostile biome 1 thousand tiles away.
I never understood why the genetic scoring system, a completely broken system ... is the only system that decides if I can be a leader or if I can be born EVE
It seems unfair to me not having the option to be an EVE or to be the leader like any other player
This only eliminates diversification in play styles.
Why can't a king be evil? Why can't a leader be a casual player? Why can't an Eve be a new player and hers her children help her advance as leader?
Yeah, no. That wouldn't work for many reasons. Leaders are supposed to be advanced players, who know stuff and can teach newbies and give them jobs. A noob leader can't use these functions as he doesn't know how to do things, also they can't probably be helpful in ordering things the town needs.
Eve as a new player? You can try that out in the tutorial, also probably all of the babies die because you can hardly take care of yourself, not mentioning babies. It would be very difficult and stressful all bbs dying you dont know what to do just looking to recipes probably dont know even what city needs in the first place.
As of your questions: 1. Leader can still be evil, tho people will probably group up to kill them if they are, so thats not a very good thing to do.
2. All the reasons I mentioned earlier
3. She wont even be able to have a single child with how she probably cant even make a fire.
I personally find that mechanic good and helpful, because the more you help the better chances you have to become leader. It also prevents griefers to be leaders, unless given leadership. Which is another thing you can do. You can teach someone new to be a leader when you trust them enough to follow them. You can always unfollow them if necessarry.
