why do people attack griefers so much? all they are doing is doing what they find entertaining... now don't see me a defendant of "griefing helps eve camps" that is a load of sheep shit
but I do believe that the backlash on griefers is way to violent! as mush as people becoming griefers too to "rid of the scum that they are!" while this may be your intention you never know if some one really is a griefer or is just trying out new "flavors of the game"
Many of the griefers on forums are in the prosses of reform.... (that's why toxic is gone couldn't grow up)
so I believe its wrong to point fingers at "griefers" and claim their the bain of this world.... all we can do is except their presents and do the best we can, if we would be able to do this forums will be less toxic (some thing none of us want to be)

Make sure to fill baskets with things, too. I think it helps the decay timer. I can only say from experience, though. Stacking baskets sounds more effective.
it also helps by hiding objects, I figured this out by accident, fill the first basket with what ever then stack baskets on top if the first basket, great way to hide knives, keys, and arrows.... for greifing at a later time, of course....

One solution to baby suicides would be to implement a literal "one hour one life" restriction. So you can only play one life per hour, so if you die (at any point from birth to sixty), then you must wait out the rest of the hour before being reborn. When you die, you'd get a count down timer that would let you know when your next life would become available. Dying young would be horrible. Abandoning your babies would be a terrible crime. Murder would be especially awful, since it cuts your life short and forces you out of the game completely. Living to old age would be rewarded with immediate access to your next life, if you want it. People could still kill themselves, if they want. But it wouldn't do any good, since they would be locked out of starting a new life for fifty nine more minutes. You wouldn't be able to pick where you are born, so you would just need to role the dice and hope for the best.
It would be terrible and glorious.
Personally, I'd rather have /die babies.
Even though this will probably hurt the game it will simulate real life more... having your life matter, though I fear it will limit social interactions even more...

I've heard the same for baskets, both filling them with soil and stacking them makes them decay faster! that's why you usually see a stack of broken baskets!

I was thinking of a food chest...
it could be a box with four "sections" each section can hold any type of food item.... this includes items on plates this includes: plate of burritos, plate of tacos, plate of cut bread, a plate of fries, a bowl of salsa, ext. food items that can't be placed in a basket... but for regular food items such as pies can be stacked *3 in each segment and it could be made of
4 nails+ boards+ hammer = food chest
I think that would be a good addition especially it wouldn't require baskets to function...

for most of human history we have farmed and farmed and got into wars over these farms because of limited space and only basic knowledge of farming we have only recently advanced into an age where most of our population don't have to be farmers to sustain our selves.....
