Can't wait for him to put the servers back to 200 when lag issues are resolved.

Although that did help, it does nothing to deal with finite amounts of soil on the map. You do not want to build a city,
you need to roam around, the longer you sit in one spot, the less soil there will be for the next generation.
And you really need to only keep like one or two kids and let the rest die, otherwise the drain on food negates the
ability to craft advancements and hopefully you can get a trash pit up fast so you can get more soil going, cause
after its gone in a region, you are pretty much SOL on that town and have to move to another area to do it all over again.
That is why you should make sure to always have compost on back up for any real village that manage to stay there for more than 5-6 generations.
Somehow, a video of your game came into my youtube feed three days ago by a Youtuber I didn't know. It took only 5 minutes after of play for me to buy the game. What hit me? A grandpa about to die teaching the youtuber how to keep the carrot farm going and the emotional farewell before he gave him his clothes to go die in the wood. Looking forward to move into the Bronze/Iron Age!
I always try to save my first baby when I'm a Eve, two is too difficult when I'm still running around. I also have been lucky soo far with the eve I ended up with as a baby.
Are bones any good to fuel a fire in real life? I would like to burn some dead babies...
You sure complain a lot, just come back next week if you are not happy with the current patch.
Jesus, how I'm going to explain that to noobs. People will forget 1 carrot and it will bloom killing the plot. The situation can go bad really fast.
Depending on which server, if you run only a little, you can easily find some new lot. I ran for 20 minutes yesterday trying to find a village as a new Eve, don't know on which server I ended up, but I couldn't find one thing made by a player.
Just to get this straight, the carrot plot dies if the carrots on it bloom? If you get the carrot before blooming, you are good to use it indefinitely?
Stats are available here: http://onehouronelife.com/reflector/ser … ion=report
There is only a cap pop of 40 people per server? I thought there was only 1 big world. If they put you back on a random server everytime you are born, the chance to see back a village or previous camp is really slim. Is there anyway to know on which server your are dumped?
Scratch all that, get a bow and arrow first, if you get well fed and things are going well, some rando will show up with a bow and kill off
your whole family in seconds. After you got that on hand, then do the other things. Cause preparing for the future starts with
stopping the trolls more than making sure the next generation has a better life, because more often than not, if you are doing well
and everything seems fine, that is when they strike.
I feel we will need a way to stop this from happing. Yesterday someone killed 10 people in my village with the only knife we had, just like that, everything was gone. One other game, someone started to eat all the carrots, then took a bow to kill someone before we could kill her. Thanks god we don't have guns yet, a bow only has 1 arrow and is clumsy to recharge.
How many people are palying on server 3 vs the original one?
After playing one day, I came to the same conclusion as you for most of your points.
#1 How can you go on a hunt and bring back more than one pelt if we can't put your bow in a cart. I had to do 20 meters, stop, get back the bow where my cart is, then repeat these steps until I found a pack of wolves/Goat. It was really annoying.
#2 Someone was telling me to give up on cooking rabbits yesterday because it was taking too much time and I would be more useful on the farm. Without saying the number of steps you have to take to cook a rabbit... And the bones, you get the small bone and the rest of the body. That's too new parts to put on the ground everytime you eat a rabbit.
#5 I would suggest an easy to be made small pouch that can contain 1 item and that you can put on your side/back to close the gap in the tech three between having nothing and the backpack.
#7 Agree, really annoying to take out all the items in a basket to get the last one... even more annoying when they are in a cart.
Overall good ideas, I hope to see some of these included to improve the gameplay.
I agree with clothes being a good priority off the gate. But starting from 0, making a trap, making thread, going on the rabbit hunt is also a heck of a job that soo mnay players still do not know. In fact, milkweed is probably the biggest block to anyone wanting to make clothes. It takes a lot of work to make a Milkweed farm, and can only be used once every 60 years. Few people see the fruit of their labor hehe.
An item I would suggest is a small easy to be made pouch that can contain 1 item and that you can put on your back. This would close the gap between starting from 0 and having a backpack in the tech tree. It would also help put a useful tool or food when you go on a quick exploration, or to bring alone a sharp stone to make a basket, etc.
