The wiki says once you get 8 curse points, you are spawned far away from other players and serve a certain amount of time before spawning in the normal locations, dependent on your lifetime curse count. There are some things I'd like to know that I couldn't find on the wiki, though.

1. Do you spawn in the same distant location when you have to serve multiple hours in Donkey Town?

2. If multiple griefers banished to Donkey Town play at the same time, will they spawn in the same location?
    - If so, does this mean griefers banished to Donkey Town can cooperate to build an endtower?
       (When I was playing yesterday, I heard an endtower bell.)

It seems that someone has built three bell towers in Donkey Town, which explains some bell tower rings that say 28k southwest in-game.

Hey Jason,

A lot of the recent updates have included features to reduce "wandering around searching" gameplay. The waystones have been really useful for finding other villages. The family mines have also cut down time spent wandering around searching. Do you plan to change how finding a tarry spot works in order to reduce wandering around searching in future updates? As I understand it, the only way to find tarry spots in the current version of the game is to wander around looking for one in an arctic biome.

Billy Sad was born into the third generation of the Sad family. His mother, Joy Sad, took very good care of him until he was old enough to do things on his own. When he was four years old, he was commissioned by Eve Sad to take on a very important task; he needed to get iron for the town. Eve entrusted Billy with her backpack to get iron and save the town.

On the search for iron, Billy first went East. However, a formidable (and ridiculously large, it was so annoying) jungle stood in his path. Billy went through the jungle, avoiding mosquitoes, which would inevitably result in death. The jungle went on and on and on... Billy doubted that there even was iron on the other side. But, just as he was about to lose hope, he saw grey tiles! Billy was filled with hope; he might find iron, and more importantly, he would not starve.

On the other side, Billy met Frank Sad. Frank was also getting iron for the town, so they both worked together. They found two veins of iron, and carried it all back to the town. However, they were split up on their journey back. Frank went north around the jungle, while Billy went south. Billy almost starved to death on his journey back to town, but made it to a wild carrot just in time. The journey back was dangerous, not because of wild animals, but because of the lack of food. The jungle and badlands were so vast, and the prairie surrounding had very few carrots. Fortunately, both Billy and Frank were able to make it back home.

When Billy arrived in town, he saw the iron that Frank had brought, and was relieved that Frank made it back too. Eve told Billy that she was proud of him, and it made him so joyful, knowing that he had pleased his grandmother. But, a new problem arose. There was a severe lack of food in the town. Billy decided to live in the wild for some time until everyone could sort out the problem and set up the farms.

Billy wandered the wilderness, searchng for wild foods to stave off his hunger. He thought about the lack of food, and came up with a solution. He made a bow and arrow, and hunted turkeys. However, he had forgotten that he needed a knife in order to cut and eat the turkey. Regardless, he hunted turkeys and ate wild carrots. He shot three turkeys, and brought them all back to town.

When Billy came back to town, the food problem was still there. He baked his turkey, and then realized his mistake—he needed a knife, but the town did not have one. Billy was determined to make his turkeys edible for the town, so he took on the vocation of smithing. First, the town needed a new fire. He was reacquainted with Frank, and they worked together to make the fire. Together they worked, for the good of the village. When the fire was made, Billy started to work on making tools, and Frank obtained kindling for the fire and forge, while working on other tasks as well. Together, they kept the village alive.

First, Billy made a smithing hammer, which he used to create a shovel and axe. Frank dug the well, and the village was saved! The food shortages would cease, for there was water for farming! However, they did not expect that the village would die out so soon.

Billy then made a file, blade, and chisel, so he could make a knife to cut the turkey. Frank, once again, helped Billy by capturing a wild goose. Then, Billy cooked the goose, made the file, and made the knife. Billy was so happy that he could reap the fruits of his labor and enjoy the delicious turkeys he had hunted. However, he realized that the town was emptier than usual. He asked Frank where all the females were, and Frank told him that they were south of the town. Billy's worries were put to rest, and he continued with his work. With the new well, he watered the gooseberries, so that the town would have some kind of food to eat.

Then, an old woman came into town. Billy asked her where the other females were. She said that there were none left... The town was doomed. She gave Billy her clothes, and then died. Billy reported this terrible news to Frank. Frank looked around for the last females, but there were none. Everyone had died, and the only ones left were Frank and Billy.

Frank was distraught, knowing that everything they had worked for would be forgotten. He purposely contracted yellow fever, and came back to town to say his last words to Billy. Frank and Billy chatted for a bit before he died, and he told Billy to have fun with the time he had left, for Billy had a more optimistic view. He thought that his life was not in vain, because they had created many tools, and he left two cut turkeys for travellers that might pass through the dead town. After Frank died, Billy made paper and a pencil to write a note to anyone who might stumble across their town. Sadly, all his tool slots had been used, and he could not write his last note.

Billy decided to spend the last years of his life travelling, to find a town where he could share his story, for there was nothing to do in his hometown but eat turkey. He did not want to waste the turkey that he had made for hungry travellers. He took a plate of turkey, and went east to find a waystone. He managed to find one in the desert, and followed it all the way to the desert family town.

He travelled six hundred tiles northwest, once again surviving off wild foods. He turned old, and almost thought he would die before he made it, but arrived in town with enough time to share his story. He told everyone that his family died out, and he was the last Sad person. He talked about the turkeys he left for travellers. The final song began to play, and Billy knew that he would meet death soon. Although it was tragic that his family died out, he was at peace, because he had a unique experience that he could never have again, and he left food for anyone that might need it. Then, Billy performed a final turkey hat dance, until he died.

This was a life I played recently. It has become one of my favorites (in addition to the first life I played (Mila Cake), one where I met someone and spoke to them in Morse code (forgot the name sad), and the "carrot baby" (Carron Maru), who made his mom proud by bringing a sheep to the village, and worked with another person, similar to the relationship between Billy and Frank). I think that lives like these make One Hour One Life worth playing, even if some of the updates detract from the fun of the game. I don't mean to criticize Jason, because this is a really great game and many of the updates are really nice (really love those stacks).

So many people starved and died really young in that village. Eve towns destroy your gene score, but this life was worth it.

Thank you to everyone who worked on that village! Especially Frank, because you helped me a lot by getting the things I needed to make the knife and other tools.

Speaking of beans, with the current version of the game, I find it strange that you have to pick dry beans individually from the bean plant, but you can only pick green beans with a bowl. I think it would be better if you could click the dry bean plant with a bowl to get a bowl full of dry beans. Also remove the ability to pick a single dry bean from the plant, because those things get everywhere (but allow pulling them from bowls, in case you need to consolidate beans to free up bowls or mash beans). This would decrease random individual dry bean clutter. Also, the ability to plant beans directly from the bowl would be nice.

Just a little background story about my character...

I played as Mia Thinn. The Thinn town (at that time) was really nice, very big, and had a lot of resources. In the first fifteen years of my life or so, I was talking to a person from another town using paper. Then, I had kids and kind of wandered around the town (I couldn't really focus on a job). After I turned 40, I found a partially constructed radio and finished it off. Then, I became the town "news reporter" and broadcasted news to the kitchen until I died. I hope someone became the news reporter after I died smile

When I was about 20 years old I had a lot of babies that used /die. There were eight total, within a span of less than three minutes. It seemed like it might have been the same player, but that player shouldn't have spawned in the same town that many times in a row, right?

Hot sauce, made from peppers, vinegar, maybe water or salt as well. You could add it to some foods that exist already, like omelettes, tacos, and burritos. This would add a lot of new food items for your yum chain.

I'm not sure what to make with onions, but I like the sauteed shrimp and veggie soup ideas!
