The dogs are just the beginning people! Listen good! Somewhere out there is a town - full of death and destruction - the town is called donkeytown. It is far away, but the villagers are bad and evil, they will come and take your kids, they will come and eat all your food, they will come and make tongs out of your fence.
So before they come we need to come before them. We need to build the biggest wall mankind has seen, take their iron and guard the walls!
A neat thing would be - if you add a railkit to a station kit you get a minerail. You place the minerail over the mine entrance and you can send the cart in. The cart goes in and comes back fully loaded with iron.
The amount of iron you can then get out of the mine is pretty big, so it would make sense in some cases to build a track from the mine to the city.
Or recharging mines, so you would build a rail and get over time x iron out if it and after a while it recharges. So a steady track to all mines around would make sense on the long run.
Also connecting Waggons to a formation of three wagons would be nice. So you could send three Waggons on the way. (maybe it works already?)
Also a big Waggon to carry stones would be neat. So you could lay four dug stones on the big Waggon or even two loaded carts.
Rails should not be removable just with 2 persons and a time consuming process. Small Items can be placed on the track, just not big objects. So you could not grief a town badly with it.
Still one railkit should give you three rails.
Well like I said Branches, water, rabbits, wood,.... supply from outposts.
So the goal would be to have a center town that gets resources from its outposts or towns that trade. Since Iron etc will be further away from the center town. You get the iron to the outpost then back to the center town. When the outpost got no more resources you make the rail further and open the next outpost.
Since it's to expansive right now for those tasks we need to reduce the work effort or increase the benefits otherwise there won't be a use to a railsystem.
What happens when you get cursed in donkeytown?
And how do you get rid of those dogs?
There is always transportation needed, maybe a hugh field of cactee, more ponds, rabbits, outposts generally, branches. It would be nice to just get to the spot load stuff in, send the cart home and get it empty back. Much easier then walking back and furth.
Sure, at the moment the effort is not worth it. A horse will do a better job, even walking with a backpack and basket is better then building a long railsystem.
working coordinated together is always more valuable for the group.
Rails are a great addition to the game. I just dont see them getting build - even in really advanced civs. The amount of work needed compared to getting a horse is just crazy.
I tried in several towns to make a track. The first tries I just gathered iron, never even got close to making a rail, then I spawned in a civ that had lots of iron that I gathered before, so I started smithing. It took me a good time just to make some blades, since blades are quite far at the end of the line. In the process of smithing someone said I was making knifes, so a lady came and just stabbed me.
So can we maybe make 3 rails with one kit? Or any other suggestions?
Last game I just gathered some iron. I took me a whole life to get the horse, the baskets and the iron. The civ was quite advanced. When I returned to stack the iron only two males were left. I was so sad haha
Something about 70+ and over 20+ hours - when I remember right. The Spot was crazy good. Unfortunately I just lived as an eve there because I had no time
A lot of griefers are out there atm. A few days ago I spawned in a civ - found several bears running around. No one cared for me. Next Civ like three bears, also no one cared. Third one, again two bears. I got fed and grew to a young boy, meanwhile all women ran into the bears and left were one boy and a old lady... Who let the bears out? I dont know! Curse you unkown fucktard!
For omelets you need a fire and plates. Also you need to gather the eggs and cant eat them raw.
They are a good addition for eve camps in between the time when berrys are growing and in emergency's. But I never saw a population only rely on eggs.
I would recommend berrys and Omeletts first. In the same time smithing should get started. Axe and Hoe first.
Then some milkweed if not much around. Sheep next and in the same time stew.
But you need several people that work with you on those projects.
Hey,
I just discovered this game yesterday from youtube gameplays and I really enjoy the life concept of this game.I wanted to ask you if it's worth it?
1. Does the main servers work really well? No lag or speed-up (or other glitches I've seen on youtube)?
2. How often the apocalypse happens?
3. MOST IMPORTANT: Are there hackers? (that use infinite health/speed-up/infinte items/etc.)
What a question!
Its an awesome game. Go for it! The 20 bucks for main server access are worth it.
Praise the Cactus God!
Not only in the 60 Club, also in the forum! Welcome!
I saw your pens and this room. I liked it, but was not sure what the purpose was
In the tutorial you can also without building something extra teleport items out of the room
I worked on this sheep pen addition. The sheep pen was already build.
You could walk on the sides of the oven into the pen, but sheeps couldnt escape. Maybe pein you want to build all your pens with such an entry?
I tried to build another teleporter north of the pen, but I made a mistake there... I wanted to use the north side of it as a trash teleporter
ahahaha, so good. Great Work!
I think that is the ultimate purpose of the Stonehenge archeologists had been missing all these years
loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Well it always depends on the situation. In some eve camps I had lots of boars and Wolfes.
Also all material for smiting were there besides a goose. So a bow would be a good thing even as eve.
But yeah it is more important to get the basics running. If they don't run you can assume it's a griefer. I just take the bow and place it somewhere else. Most of the times the smart griefers are so confused that they starve..
I was considering making a suggestion on improving the text of the last tut stone, but it literally says "Light the torch." and there is a big "TORCH" beneath the torch, so I'm not quite sure about why that many people struggle with it (I've seen two on the discord and one on the forum, which means probably up to maybe 20 people are having the issue)...
The key to solve the tutorial is to read the texts. If you fail you should be stuck in the tutorial. How do you think can someone play the game if they cant read and or figure out what to do?
cheaper version? 4 adobe would work?
i think i could make from needles and make a long line to teleport someone far xD
bonus if lands in a pen xD
i want a muflon meat thrower xd
And a integrated meat thrower should also be possible. You don't even need to leave the pen.
Next time we meet in game I will honor you with the Ohol Physiks Nobelprice
You can now use a "Dr. Prof." in front of your name :'D
I do most of the jobs. I look around what is needed urgent or soon and then I go do it if no one else is doing it.
Since the horse fix I am using the horse a lot of the times. I gather then fresh baskets with Adobe or just soil and maple branches.
Hey Tarr,
I just faced connection lost!
Both methods seemed good.
The upper one was more clicking and walking. Clicking needed to be done correct otherwise you stopped.
The one at the village was less stressful, but quite space and resource consuming.
I guess if you want something good looking and got some space and time you should take the one near the village.
And if it needs to go fast, tiny and dirty. You should go with the one north.
You think the same?
just make some fields around the construction so you need to walk still two tiles. But its faster then walking 6 or more tiles
