You go Rodney! Next step is a bigger property area and gathering mass amounts of wealth to trade and give to your kids.
I did consider making a small sanctuary , in fact I think every nuclear family should have one to keep out the drama . Some things though needs to remain communal
Like the oven, kiln, forge should be in the town square , but bring your own kindling and iron. No stock pile should remain there.
Now that I think about it....what anything else should really be communal?
Edit: oh yeah water, dammit lol. This one's a toughie.can we have a way to collect rainwater? Lol

They got angry at me for eating food?
They couldn't get in so I just ran out occasionally while they tried to chase me with knifes and got food then quickly ran back in.
About halfway through I had decided to rejoin society but they were dead set on killing me, so I lived the rest of my life like this
They stabbed me in the end but I died of old age first

Honestly, you could do worse. Living a hermit life is selfish but you're not directly harming everyone majorly. Sometimes it would feel nice to just sit back and enjoy the drama from within a safe box I guess

Well the new update should cause the box to reset before the baby wave gets too bad. Now if babies to fertile mothers ratio is over 6 then the box wipes.

Kinda bad to be splitting the player base into different cells where they can't interact with each other.
True, the other alternative is of course just bigger cells.
I'm just suggesting this to tackle the baby wave.

Okay so the problem is during cell's death throes, mothers will inundated with babies since everyone died.
What if there were multiple cells on a server. If no fertile mother that is not on cooldown , eve in a new cell.

I dunno man, I'm kinda losing hope now. The game is slowly turning into an Eldritch abomination. It's mutating way too fast way too much way too soon.
Also this update is extremely newbie unfriendly.

Oh wow murder rate is actually the same as pre cell update??? Wasn't it like 9 percent before?
This game enviro sucks now but definitely an interesting social experiment

With infanticide becoming the new meta, this is surprisingly right. I don't think this is sustainable. New players who just bought the game will the most appalled if they find they are repeatedly murdered or starved as a child repeatedly.
Anyone has statistics on age of death since the Hell Cell update?

Put up fences along every grassland ever. This is a game about dealing with griefers over anything else and if you aren't playing solely for that purpose you aren't playing the game right.
No support. Fences only, no need for anything else.

They will live in ruined world for decades cause people are min maxing. Everything is grieffed, but with baby policying the life can go onwards for ages.
I seriously just dislike this mode. Well i vote with my gaming time. This mode is just terrible to play. Everything is in ruins. Totaly depressing and exact opposite of what i want from this game.
Do you know whats scary? That truth is for the longest survival time, it is in a lineage beat interest to maintain a smallest possible size that is adequate to kill off whatever they encounter quickly. The more players on the server the faster resources deplete afterall...
Thinking about real earth, it IS depressing. When earth one day does ever run low on resources will we regret coming this far?

The answer to your question is NO. We can´t all agree. Starting for the one that called you fag. Is it foul language? I believe it is. Can you kill because of it? Yes if you have a weapon. Can you have the right to do so? I don´t know if there are rights as such in this game. Everyone has his own way to see things, I´ve killed for less and have been killed for using foul language. I won´t blame you for killing but I won´t support something like an unspoken rule about killing for using x word. There is always more to it and I´m sure you weren´t called out "fag" out of nowhere.

Change it back till we learn our lesson.
I had a massive farm and nearly made a cart when it was 500x500
1000x1000 and I don't see anyone my whole life, but my mother and a brother, both of which were panicking for no reason.
Lived to 60, made every iron tool, and didn't see any strangers to share them with my entire life.Change it back.

Honestly, when I suggested a finite world, I expect the finite part to mean enough to last a month or two, or at least an entire real life season. It should have a more epic proportion than a mini diorama of only a few days.
