No bringing back the rift talk! It was horrible!  wink

Thank you for the update! smile

I love the property gate addition.

Excited to see the outcome of the new killing requirements as well.

I love when that happens! The names you end up with can be quite funny.

On low pop server, I had a child. I asked them if they had a town on the server, they replied no.  I told them they could take whatever they needed to help them get one started if they wanted, or they were more than welcome to stay and do whatever at my town.

She thanked me, and I said "You're welcome" Her named ended up being Welcome. lol  Was quite fitting though, because she was more than welcome to do as she pleased there.

#29 Re: Main Forum » New idea for killing » 2020-05-07 23:32:23

I never really messed with the leadership/follow part of the game. The first thought that I had after reading this is I would be watching other villagers to find the hard workers of the town and follow one of them to keep them safe. Which would be encouraging players to use the leadership/follow options in the game.  I like the idea of being able to make our dedicated workers harder to kill.

should I reinstall or should I change the cache that it making the game impossible to play and BTW which cache is that?

Either one would work..

Deleting cache is a lot quicker, but at this point you've been asking the same question for days. You could have reinstalled many times over since the first time you asked. lol

If you don't understand how to delete the cache as people have explained to you on how to do it, just reinstall.. Both options work, it's up to you now to fix it.

#31 Re: Main Forum » Why Do Players Dye Clothes and Walls? » 2020-05-06 23:25:20

We paint and dye because it's pretty! smile

I've seen mothers trying to dress their kids pretty much in the same color as her to quickly identify her offspring at glance..  (All red hats and blue shirts, or all blue hats ect.)

Painted walls make towns stand out from the next. It's just a pain to get them all painted. If it was easier I'm sure most towns would come up with their own "Tribe" color combinations for their buildings. As it is now, there are usually only a few painted walls throughout the whole town. lol

#32 Re: Main Forum » New idea for males: one hour half life » 2020-05-04 22:59:54

I'm not surprised that the women in game live longer, most players stay at camp when they are female. Staying at camp lowers your chances of being killed by wild animals and starving.

I would hate to see the male life span shortened. I prefer to be born male over female, it would suck to have my gathering and exploring time shortened during those lives.

Funny you should mention being "damned", because that's probably what will happen if you take that kind of attitude attitude into the game ... LOL.

From where I'm sitting, you're the one who is expecting privileged treatment.   I paid for this game, same as you, Joji.   Don't act like that makes you somebody special.

You think I am expecting privileged treatment by using an in-game feature?  lmao You must have been high as hell when you wrote that! I can't take you seriously anymore, you're speaking like a true sheep to the mob mentality! Eesh.

I'm finished with this conversation, I and others will use property fences if we choose to do so. I encourage more people to make even more fences during their lives just to piss off these controlling buffoons. smile

Yeah, that's not a valid argument.    Paying for server access does not mean you are free to follow all of your impulses.
You do not have a "right" to build property fences in this game any more than you have a "right" to kill all the sheep if you feel like stabbing something.    Just because Jason added a scrap box that reduces an engine to a bunch of raw iron, that doesn't mean it is okay to scrap the village's only engine or that you don't deserve to be cursed for doing so.     Just because you CAN do something does not mean you SHOULD do something.  Or that doing that action is going to be socially acceptable to other villagers.

Destiny you are nobody to tell me how to play this game that I paid for..

Like I said, that "Holier than thou" attitude a lot of the main players have is hilarious..

Property fences are a part of the game and I'll be damned if any random ass person tries to tell me that I can't use them.. Get off your unwarranted high horse..

#37 Re: Main Forum » Has anyone tried using fences like Jason says? » 2020-04-27 04:30:08

Not everyone uses fences in a bad way...  It does make them idiots..  I've seen many people use them to store items they gather themselves for a project they are working on, only to get cursed by some idiot for doing so..  The "Holier than thou" mindset some people have when playing this game is idiotic.

Property fences are a part of the game, if someone chooses to use them, then they should not get cursed for it.. They paid for the game just the same and should be able to make fences if they choose to do so.

#38 Re: Main Forum » Has anyone tried using fences like Jason says? » 2020-04-27 03:59:59

Just be careful playing around with property fences.. There are a group of idiots who will curse you for building it because "fEnCe is bad reeeee"

#39 Re: Main Forum » Mass Cursed for Calling out a Griefer? » 2020-04-24 22:00:07

If the person went up and directly took the cart she had with her while she was using it and in the middle of her own project they deserved to be cursed..

If I gathered all of that on my own and had it by me in the middle of doing what I had set out to do and he came up and just took the stuff I gathered, needed and was clearly using, I would have killed and cursed him/her for that as well because that would just piss me off. It's rude to take things from people that you see are clearly using for their own project!

Communication is key.. It wouldn't have hurt to ask what the intentions were with the fence.. Sometimes it is easier to use a fence to work on a project, because people end up taking what you gathered/need then it takes you even longer to finish what you were doing..  If she had asked, then she could have explained that you both were making tacos as well and to come and join.. No need for unnecessary drama because people don't know how to communicate instead of flat out taking stuff from other people that they are clearly using.

#40 Re: Main Forum » Want to know what you eat? try this "App" » 2020-04-22 22:51:59

Mine usually looks somewhat like this.. Some of those foods I selected I don't always eat every life, because I'm a traveler and when I'm pretty far out in the wild I will add Wild carrots, wild onions and burdock. Depending on what race I am a banana or cactus fruit is added to that as well.

I'll have to track my next life to see what exactly I eat that life.

A group full of idiots, the videos are just as dumb.

#44 Re: Main Forum » I want a refund Jason. » 2020-04-13 06:37:49

So he basically played for over a year for free..

That's just fucking ridiculous on his end no matter how you put it!  He got more than his money's worth of play.. So I don't see how the shoe analogy does not work, he literally used and abused the game many times over.. It's fucking scummy as hell to even asking for a refund after this long. Speaks volumes about his character as a person. IMO

Not just mean but highly unreasonable and I would not be surprised if Jason refused a refund..

Toxic, you have had this game wayyy to long and have clocked in many many hours on it.. You loved it enough to even purchase more accounts..  Just because over a year later you are not happy with the update, you decide to ask for a refund, refunds do NOT work like that!

That's like trying to get a refund on a pair of shoes that you have worn for over a year and once they are no longer new, shiny and comfortable, you decide to try to return them.. lmao  It just don't work that way!

#46 Re: Main Forum » Dumbest plan ever :D » 2020-04-07 20:55:43

lol I love your creativity and passion for designing different pens! That being said, with the new iron restriction, I am not a fan of the pens with the tracks. That iron could be used better elsewhere and if made in town, it will probably dismantled for the iron.

(you can dismantle track kits right?)

#47 Re: Main Forum » Time Mr. Jason, is it really that time again? » 2020-04-07 20:45:03

With being able to hang things on the wall now, he could also add a storage box for the glass seed jars. This would help with the clutter of seed jars everywhere.  We could also start building a garden "shed/Room" to store extra garden supplies in (fertilizer boxes, hoes, shovels, extra buckets ect.) and add these seed boxes on the walls.

#48 Re: Main Forum » Time Mr. Jason, is it really that time again? » 2020-04-07 20:34:51

Seed bags and jars have been requested for quite some time now..  Being able to store seeds in a bowl helped quite a bit with clutter, but now a main problem is there are bowls cluttering up the town filled with seeds and other stuff! A lot of times it's hard to find a bowl that's empty, so bowls are constantly in demand, being made, and causing even more clutter!

Jojigirl wrote:

Bowls get cluttered around town so easily.. No matter how many bowls you seem to make, it's never enough and towns look messy and cluttered with bowls of seeds everywhere..

Since we have glass bottles for storage, I think it would be great to have glass Jars for seed storage. It would help with the clutter and the constant need to make more bowls.

Example:

I know many people would rather seed storage to be something other than glass, but using glass will also add more difficulty to the game. Which is something that's needed to prevent towns advancing too quickly. wink

Uses for ashes from wood stove

https://youtu.be/fk3789BsccM

Ashes are said to help your garden, maybe any crops and berry bushes that have had ashes added to them increase the food value of those crops.  Can also be used in compost.
