What actually happened was Baker [Lisa aka Norarose86] was trippin', didn't have a way to keep track of who was having more than one kid, and was just murdering people and talking shit to other players the whole time.
I returned to the camp as Rose Pharo.
I was about to leave to play with my twin, who died from a rattlesnake bite, so I gave a back pack to a baby they seem to be caring for for some reason, then he says I'm an idiot for feeding kids, bruh, what.? I tell him I didn't feed my babies, which I didn't (until dude spazzes on me in my own village) I tell him I'm eve and calls me an idiot again for cutting carrots in Savannah, which was actually done my my griefer daughter from my eve life named Nefertiti, who I had to rush a bow to kill to save my hard working kids' work, and future generations' livelihoods.
I've played with Baker before and he usually is helpful and isnt such a redacted [and proved himself yet again]. idk what got up [Nora's] pecker today in my camp, but her/his actions led to its demise. Congratulations, bruh.
TL;DR Basically Baker Norarose86 acted like an redacted over reacting to the ginger-bug, with no respect for the Eve, and his/her experiments with population control failed, knocking the family out at only 10 generations. The end.
Lets keep it civil and without personal trips and namecalling please.
The Griefer punishment system is better than ever.
I'm happy to hear they spend their miserable lives in solitary,
having their gaming experience ruined by powers that they can't control,
and then reading them complain about it on the forums is the fresh cherry on top of the sundae of justice.
DELICIOUS!
I"m bad at eve runs but once things are on the 4th generation I contribute a lot. I've played with a good majority of you guys- west, tarr, and PHARO. Pharo hasnt been mentioned but it is a good one. I also just had a good run with Mary. Didn't last long but there was a lot of roleplaying and other families that helped make up the town so who knows how long those families lasted
Thanks for the honor, Ellesanna.
I nominate Mirelli aka Eve Storm,
and Dr. Steve aka Eve Stevenson
to the OHOL Hall of Heroes.
Found a related bug-
Just found a semi-tame wolf, starving to death. It starved, and when I went to cut its hide i stood on its dead body,
killed by dead semi-tame wolf.
I was able to hop on a horse, ride to town, ask for help, but wasn't able to be healed with pads and needle.
so RIP.
TL;DR Talking shit to armed players can get you killed in OHOL.
Yeah, I think we should delete this and PM Jason this news to in the meantime.
I didn't think my comments were hurting anybody. I'll try to be more careful about sharing my insight.

@Pharo
Yes,
I am a mook that thinks that way, though getting people to believe me is difficult, so I oftencontradict myselfdo it indirect . Like cheer them up, [by griefing].Can you, possibly NOT school me harder on every single theory I pull out of my ass? You are making me, make myself look like a fool. I know I'm not the only one you do this to, although, it is evident by your body of posts, and I hate evidence.
Self-control, and clearly self-perseverance, is something I lack, having decided to pick a fight with someone more talented than me in completing his thoughts, and staying on topic. I've snitched on you multiple times for annihilating my arguments and calling me out as a bitch-made swagger-jacker. Please be nice to me, even though I am acting like a defeated troll making baseless accusations about community members' mental health, which I am neither right, nor qualified to make. Please allow me to freely inflate my fragile ego and sense of self worth, as it is totally dependent on constant reassurance from myself, and my personal perversions of truth that I have decided to post here.
@Ribbz
It was Mirelli who killed me one of the lives I'm describing in OP. Is this person a griefer? I wasn't ever griefing, though. Not even the life previous.
If Mirelli killed you, then you were griefing/being fucking useless, as evident in your many hollow posts this 6 page thread.
And I'm sure you will be killed again if you don't adapt your playstyle
to one that is less ...stabable?
.... stabby?
...stab-inducing?
You get the point... point... get it?
(Probably not)
Knives are pointy...
and you get stabbed a lot for being a useless sponge.
It's quite funny.
Its your responsibility to figure that out.
Love,
Pharo

How's reporting me to the moderators going for you, kiddo?
The problem is that people are labeling harmless acts as acts of grief. Killing random people is a playstyle thing, but pretending these people are purposefully trying to ruin the experience of others is something different. It's a mindset based on ignorance and lack of communication in many cases. Sometimes driven by mental health issues like paranoia or emotional instability. You could even say it's something people use to (falsely) justify killing.
Bruh, what?
Are you saying that people who randomly people murder aren't purposely ruining the experience of others,
but griefer hounds do?
Is that your point, after 6 pages of BS?
Reminder: hihibanana has no credentials regarding his statements on the topic of psychology,
as his certificate in crystal healing doesn't give him the authority to make these claims.

@Doctor Steve
I've had years of experience talking to people who actually do have mental breakdowns. It's not hard for me to recognize stages of someone's mental health through how they type. And it doesn't take me long for me to see someone's intention through any medium, how they're feeling, even their thoughts. I'm very receptive to people and their behavior. Don't pretend this isn't possible.
So, what your saying is, through perception and first hand experience,
a person can recognize symptoms and behaviors, by type,
and can detect their intentions through any medium, like OHOL for example...
Interesting, interesting...
So you, and other people who possibly share your keen perception,
would be able to detect and handle someone who is griefing
the town before they do too much damage?
"yes" or "no" will suffice,
but feel free to ramble.
All keys get set to the ? Key whenever the server is reset. Same goes for every single lock. The only way to produce these keys is to leave a key laying around until the server is eventually restarted.
They only seem to act as skeleton keys because all the locks are defaulted to ? as well. ? keys do not work on any other lock besides ? so should your ? key not be opening a door/chest you know the lock is fresh.
Should you have more locks than ? keys you can always make duplicates by either making more locks and keys (less effective) or just making duplicate keys by using a steel blade blank on your ? key and filing it like you would a key+lock blank.
#TheMoreYouKnow
The keys with the letter A, B, C, etc removed.
any help will be appreciated thx
Yeah, I have seen this key before, labeled "Key - ?" and I have no idea how its made.
It acts like a skeleton key.

And go to the very bottom of the page and there is an embedded discord box.
The OHOL discord is the best way.
Title says it all. In my opinion, if griefing is such a huge problem, how come people haven't tried to organize some sort of "police" force or get someone to stay on guard? I rarely see anyone being like that in huge villages. I always just see some person with 5 knives and is just farming, not doing what their appearance seems to be. Let them distribute knives, not keep them all for yourself.
And yes, I know you can never know who to trust, but let's be honest here, if you really couldn't trust anyone, why keep the forge open at all?
im tired rn i'll elaborate upon this later
There are a group of players with the mindset to basically be police as needed, hopefully you will join us in the community with that shared mindset.
Employing someone to be Sheriff, Guard, Knight, etc..
is one strategy civs used more in the past, as griefers learned to ask people to follow them out of town to "the big abandoned town," retrieve a bow and arrow from behind a tree, and
X . X
RIP
Town guard doesn't even know anyone is missing, until someone stumbles along the bloody grave and reports back.
It's best to leave policing to the bakers, hunters, shepherds, and Smiths. They can work, and be called upon to get justice by blade or bow.
Also, as with crowns and royalties in OHOL,
A LOT of times,
the player assigned to the role of guard, starts "roleplaying"
and ends up endlessly shouting accusations at people, causing them to give a rebellious reaction,
which the guard finds threatening,
and shoots the towns folk...
and either starves out or later murdered.
And bump to WomanWizard's and Catfive's posts.

Lesson, any time someone helps a cursed baby, curse that person. Always.
Feeding a cursed baby,
that's a stabbin'.
this thread is like a train wreck, It looks horrible but you cannot look away.
Pairs well with popcorn and a recliner. XD
I am Pharo wrote:populating the abandoned village,
Damn I was really hoping people wouldn't. I've been living on and off in that little outpost since very early in its lifespan. I specifically didn't do upgrades beyond the shell of an outpost in an attempt to deter people from moving in and messing up the place. I mean without people living in the outpost the place was constantly looted of things I had made. Hell I made nine buckets this morning and left them prepped in my cow pen for someone to milk it but on return most were missing AND my cow pen was destroyed.
It just feels bad each time I come back and find this little place more and more trashed as people move in and enslave themselves to the berry farm.
XD
I feel you, fam.
#ReasonsWhyWeCan'tHaveNiceThings
Being a resourceful chap, I've found a use in game for people like Pharo!
Was just born in a murder city (surname Pharo) My mom takes me far down the road to the abandoned village where her mum was born - set a few screens off the road, tells me there are murderers in town who killed her mum. So I tidy up the village, and when the kids come, I show them what needs doing there then set them down at the highway to murder town. Spawned 10 healthy kids in peace, the helpful ones stayed and rebuilt, while all the jerks went to your murder town.
So, thanks Pharo, with your city acting as a giant shit magnet, I can go learn the early and mid game in peace outside your borders, with no murderers in my town! Just a safe, thriving place where you don't get killed for being new or making weapons.
I guess eventually my lineage will get a bad reputation on account of the healthy, armed arseholes it exports to the city.
My city acting like a shit magnet? Says the guy who literally said this:
I'm very new to the game, joined late, maybe 15 hours in. I do not know what the game was like before the curse system was in place, but reading these forums it sounds like griefers used to be a much bigger problem than they are now. For me it is people with the attitude supported by I am Pharo in this thread that ruin the game, I probably will not continue to play it.
...It is because of people like I am [Pharo] that I will feed cursed kids if the town I'm in is even a little bit draconian.

I think you meant to say "Thank you."
So you're welcome from Me, Mirelli, Ribbz, and Kailied, for reviving Ho village, opening and leading roads to the mines north,
and populating the abandoned village,
so trash talking nubs like you don't have to learn to eve.
Idk how you blame me for griefers, when you said earlier that you would retaliate my tribes with grief
because you don't like the position many of the best players in our community agree constitutes griefing,
and our means of dealing with it.
Play the game for longer than a week, and tell me how you have figured out how to stop griefers.
You're welcome.
The name lives on, for now.

Side note: I was born to an outpost off the road as a kid during the griefing of Osiris II,
and as soon as I was old enough, I made my way to town to make sure the Pharo's did the right thing, and execute him... and they had already taken care of him.
The Pharo Tribe gets it.
So If you don't like being in my family,
take your own advice and simply "not continue to play it" as you previously declared you would.
Love,
Pharo
[To hihibanana] You've been reaching for a point with your extreme black-and-white thinking which spin in endless circles.
It looks like your stance.... is all the stances?
You have no stance.
[to Pein] I see in all shades of grey, and try to pick out the shade best for you. You're a very black-and-white-person, pein. I'm just trying to help you.
Do you see in fifty shades of Pharo?
Holy shit, get off my steeze, you bitch-made swagger jacker...
Learn to synthesize not plagiarize, my guy.
and
no one wants unwarranted advice
in their personal lives from some dotard
with delusions of grandeur and a certificate in meditation.
I don't know how I can further clarify that hunger doesn't work on the one-minute-one-hour scale, and thus shouldn't be considered when justifying the lack of communication.
You have to use evidence to clarify a point...
What you do, is not that.
Never that.
Bye, Felicia

Sounds amazing
<3<3<3
As long as you apply this to rolepayers too, im fine, but if rolepleyers aren't applied, you are looking at this in the wrong way
That depends. For example, if I see two bakers, playing fine, decide to get married, or make a club or some-shit,
that's role playing that isn't likely going to hinder the village.
But if I am in a village, and someone says they are the "Sherrif" or the "King/Queen/Dictator",
and stays in town, accusing, and tormenting the towns folk...
I do everything I can to kill them, and free the people.
hihibanana ]:
"Everyone wants to support you and your vision... But you need to work on your communication skills so people know why they need to help you. This game is anonymous... For all we know, you have no idea what you're doing, and are just a crazy lady, commanding us because you have nothing better to do."
hihibanana:
If it takes you a long time to get the message across, find new ways to communicate that are faster. Don't just give up on communication. A lot of your troubles are caused by lack of communication, simply by seeing you describe the situations and how you reacted to them.
hihibanana :
...if they suck at communicating, don't act on your assumptions. Wait a bit longer.
Also hihibanana (Today 07:57:13): People aren't truly responsible for communication.
Bruh,
Which position are you taking,
we truly need to be responsible in our communications,
or we are truly not responsible for our communication?
Another thing:
What is this :
Also, many things in this game do not follow a 1-year-1-minute scale... if a minute went by in a year, you definitely wouldn't be able to keep up with your daily hunger.
That being said, if you justify not communicating with need to eat, you cannot use the 1-year-1-minute scale argument to support that, seeing as hunger does not follow that scale.
1. who is trying or needs to justify not speaking because you need to eat.
um, no one.
All of us, at some time, had to leave in a converstation, hunt, etc...
with another player
because we were starving.
This is very common in OHOL.
So I doubt anyone is being executed solely for walking away to get food.
2. OHOL follows a 1 min : 1 year scale.
You are confusing the hunger mechanic (a life-bar) with real life hunger.
These are two different things. Let them be.
3. If it takes you five minutes to talk someone out of
standing around, suicide, or a rampaging,
then five good years of your life used up.
If it takes you five minutes to tell a child,
or an adult to eat more efficient food, and they ignore or troll you,
then take what's left of their 60, for your five. '
4. For someone so obsessed with truth,
your information, and thus conclusions drawn,
tend to be false.
It's best to take their word for it, otherwise you're reaching for a conspiracy.
You've been reaching for a point with your extreme black-and-white thinking which spin in endless circles.
It looks like your stance.... is all the stances?
You have no stance.
We have experience. We know the signs.
We communicate. We got this.
You can go back to quacking your goose.
I am Pharo wrote:What do you want to be when you grow up?
