For me I'm basically guaranteed to live to old age in a big town. Unless murdered or lagging which dosn't happen too often.
I was in a town with literally boxes full of pies and a large berry farm. Yet plenty people still died as children or in there 20s. So many children that I raise tell me ty before running off and dying a few years later. You'd think most people would be able to live to old age in cities. Well I guess big cities still have more old age deaths then smaller villages.
Isn't Bonsai just for decoration, that's fine since we can use them to liven up towns a little. Will they work like potted plants?
Anyway I'm exited for this update, I feel like it will help us a great deal. We can do stuff like plant Jupiter trees right near fire spots and not worry about chopping down trees once you have a farm. Plus we can expand into more biomes since we can just clear out all the trees and replant them elsewhere.
Wonder if we'll get fruit trees at some point too.

Did you mean Ree Tarr people? Also, lets keep it civil here. He might actually be a skilled player, right?
Griefers are not good players, at least not what I'd consider "good". They may be skilled at survival as well as being knowledgeable of game mechanics (knows what to ruin).
But being skilled in the game dosn't make you a good player. Look at Pein for example, knows the game but mostly just kills people instead of teaching. Makes long hard to read posts about it all the time.
Good job, I also dislike cult roleplay. Sad that the town considered that a murderable offence. If I was there I would've tried to heal you.
I probably also would've turned that dung into a compost, inside the temple of course.
Wait so we use berries as currency now?

Killers can check for the girls name to see if she died.
Better to actually hide somewhere. it doesn't matter if the biome is food efficient, the girl wont have to hide forever, she can go back once killer is dead. I dont think grass is at all a good hiding spot but if food is needed yea, grass it is. But as long as it's far that shouldn't be an issue.
Maple trees are good hiding spots.

Stone fences and a fence gate that only players can pass would be a good start. Would make for much more attractive towns.
Way to store grains, I always end up with tons of thrashed wheat everywhere when making compost. It stays that way until bakers use it up. Should be able to build some kind of grain silo.
Gonna grief the griefers.
What a dumb looking man. Seriously what's up with that bright blue hair dye, ew.
Zooms out to city full of murder graves.
only the noobs stay
sometimes i show them how to get a berry bowl, then they leave at the camp and go exploring even after i showed them around
asking questions where is the oven? do you see sheep? then i didnt made oven either and i wont, and starve
last run i had like 9 girls and only 1 survived, and even we had tools, we died out there, one girl moved out and made a long lineage
sometimes nothing you can do
Noobs stay, even if they die immediately. They are thankful to those that are kind to them.
Pros suicide 90% of the time and complain the whole hour while treating others like crap.
Yup. It was only walking around randomly saying "666" from time to time back before he (me) got banned but there have been significant improvements.
Can Satan complete the tutorial, bonus points if it can escape.
I'm fairly certain something like this will not cause ice holes to be deleted. What is occurring with bear caves is two items are trying to stand on one tile and since the bear cannot move to any other available tile it is instead overriding its cave to make room for itself.
This same concept is seen with geese when you cut their heads off with no available tiles around the stump or making a goosling in a pile of sheep dung in a full sheep pen.
The reason this would not work (in my head) with ice holes is penguins/seals/whatever jumping into them cause them to move but they are not just standing on top of them. Basically the ice pond would just smack into the wall and not move at all instead of being deleted.
That's a shame. I wouldn't be opposed to a "Terra forming" update for destroying nature. Hate when unremovable objects block roads, especially ice holes that move onto roads.
But removable bear caves is useful anyhow.
Will this work on ice holes?

I find the concept of automated griefing quite amusing though. Imagine if he used two bots, one for wearing off curse and another to make/find a knife and murder nearby players.
What makes you think none of those things are already in place? Also, you think how my bot got its nickname, "Santan"?
Because it said 666 and honestly I wouldn't know the difference. A human griefer has so little personality or social skills that they may as well be a bot.

I personally try to avoid town conflicts as it often ends with murder. I don't mind it as long as it dosn't hurt the town long term, preferably fertile women shouldn't be killed but it happens.
Conflicts happen and as far I'm concerned the winner is right. Although people should at least try to talk before going straight for kills, everyone makes mistakes.
Still, so much violence in towns. Sometimes griefers but I've seen conflicts over crowns go bloody. You end up with huge murder chains.
Put your babies in them too!
Joking but I bet that would be a popular feature of it was a thing.
SomeRandomPerson wrote:What if hypothetically a non cursed was born in donkey town. Would they be treated as if they were a cursed in a normal town.
Anyway I actually support your movement. You'll be keeping all the known griefers and toxic players away from the actual towns. Fine by me.
+1
If the non-cursed was a male he'd probably be killed sooner or later. Pein mentioned they'd keep non-cursed females but I don't think they can spawn non-cursed people. But I am honestly happy if they are happier there. I see no need for trying to have some sort of clan mentality in this game where all players just want to play without getting frustrated; now cursed pros can avoid newbies and newbies can be in more patient environments. I think we all win this way?
Yep, both parties benefit from this.

Give it time solo dev its alot of work jason is awsome he will fix it... i think it will take longer than two years to make it awsome though
Hope he works on them some more next update. Until then it's another novelty item like rails and pigs.
In Theory you can make locked doors and chests then just keep the key on you.
No cant name, no use yet
So he just added them in without a use, That's dissapointing.
At least we got donkey town so hopefully that reduces griefing. I already saw one griefer complaining on the forums about it so that makes me happy.
Problem is that they are too slow, slower then a person with a cart. You can build a road to go even fsster.
