"I would have thought this a hotter bed of viral activity.
But only 1,850 deaths? That's impressive, for a town famous for people rubbing elbows in the night. "
Believe it or not Casinos are quite hygienic, touchless sinks soap and hand dryers are the normal in vegas casinos for some time. Coupled with the fact that due to indoor smoking their ventilation systems are quite powerful. Yeah I like to game both digitally and the old fashioned way, lol.
Viva Las Vegas, for a spell.
A peasant uprising against the evil god jason sounds like a good quest for my next life...DOWN WITH JASON! haha
Anything new and note worthy not covered in the news? I too have left California.
Agreed Miskas staple foods, wheat and corn go ham mega farm ez moves with buckets and carts long as you dry the corn where grown, so corn highways then? Run plow and paver in conjunction?
Lay track??? Potentially worth more as storage depot than long range transport imo. Large serpentine track with small off shoot to cart unloading zone? Pein thoughts? Design? Already done?
Corn to wheat ratio? Miskas any info on that?
Agreed Destiny just run it as far as you can as long as you can, which would be start of the first major highway essentially.
So who does mapping best? Surveys seem worth reel big bwains stuff so fug? pein? idk
Why survey worth? Can solve some logistics with it. I'm not gonna dig on that tho.
good job miskas people forget the opportunity cost of using the plow, kerosine is water. Also the plow screws up existing assembly lines. I'm all for the plow but....we need to make some adjustments to get the benefit out of it.
Those long rows are a logistical nightmare tbh. Remember we only live for 60 minutes and the plow is heavily dependent on getting a competent person to run it at a savings.
Rail cars are actually good storage, hold more slots than a box and don't block movement.
Well most eves do a cold smithing start just to advance tech and jump start the village and get knife to knife asap. You can do a swamp start and go straight for stew and the punish is much less on gene score. Most Eves just rush smithing and well a lot of people starve when you do that.
Problem with that the swamp start is you need to birth a competent founding smith...most people never have to make bellows or the kiln so they aren't adept at quickly throwing that stuff together. Consider every town you spawn in....the bellow was like made by the eve, who founded the original site.
So with a swamp start yeah people don't starve but by gen 5 they've eaten all the soup not made more and probably have only made ax, shovel, knife blank and file blank....seriously.
I've used the two stretches of roads paved quite a bit tbh.
One of them is quite long they potentially open up range for oil exploration as does the car. Also makes salvage runs easier.
Believe one road connected like 3-4 families, it was pretty cool actually to zip down the road and hit three different towns. Hitting the turns a lil hard but that should get fixed....again car stupid fast on road.
Good info was curious to how it functioned on resource consumption, thanks.
So who is joining the road paving crew?
We're approaching a meta where the leader (wealthiest man in town) owns the only car, which he keeps locked in a secure garage along with a fuel tank and collection of maps, only taking it out to travel to distant lands and trade specialty materials with foreign people who speak a different language.
Soon, long-haul truckers will be the royalty of ohol. An absent parent whose dysfunctional family ultimately fails because they're not around.
Yes the mayor should have a car, I've spent too much time being the nanny tbh. Cars are fun and you just described what I did yesterday a tank of kerosene in a car lasts three lifetimes. 3,000 tiles in a few minutes is quite useful, cars are stupid fast on roads too.
Also two cars one for each end of the current spawning grid I don't wanna run further than I have to mmkay?
I think team bobo was salty. Someone had a stockpile of nine engines at one of the old brown towns, I distributed the engines to a few towns. I am fairly certain those engines were the product of destroying towns so I looted them.
I did see one of them scrapped at Cedar, guy did it right in front of people i cursed him and he cursed me.
Give more carrots use less stick. Engage in more positive reinforcement if you feel this way. If you're a hammer everything's a nail, familiar with the expression?
Good behavior should be acknowledged and rewarded as well, so put some attention on that action for a period try to find a balance. Better to make others right with education than enforced compliance and punishment.
The use of force is necessary at times and should always consider the ramifications....and admit fault on own mistakes. We all make blunders.
Let the smiths learn, encourage yum. We probably lose as much water on pie gobbling miners tbh. I'm gonna start dropping three sister soups around the mining pits to help with this. Also been yum dumping on iron instead of wood lately, the new system is potentially way broken for this as well. Got like +350 yum chain earlier that's not even close to what you could pull if you min / maxed it with a good craving bonus.
Mass stock piling iron then rolling tons rods probably save tons of water on engine and oil extraction. I mean a lot of rods then getting a few to lathe people to bore them in on go. I don't know how many time I've used a few buckets of water making just a pump jacket...desperate times when I'm doing engineer work.
So we need to change our farm layouts then? horizontal assembly lines two rows twenty long with two space between? May as well just start the smaller villages out that way. We still need hoes tho, and twenty seven steel is pretty steep...
I'm down, could set up flight paths with old salvage engines may as well. I flew a plane once on a hot lap a long time ago. It's been on my to do the get one made. I keep forgetting to make landing strips. We've definitely stream lined the kerosene and engines processes.
You can communicate quite a bit with emotions as a baby, much more effectively than one letter at a time.
If a corpse is on the hearth sad face over it, you'd be surprised how often the corpse gets removed doing that. I do the same for fire if it's coals and about to go out. Making faces is usually my entertainment, making angry faces can get quite a range of interaction at infancy. There's something so funny about making faces appropriate to situations.
Seeking out a rubber ball as it can be interacted with at birth. Can also erase shit with it if you want to troll, that one makes me laugh particularly hard. Stash it in your backpack, bounce it, erase maps left within reach of junior....it just feels like something a kid would do.
Get creative you'd be surprised how much you can do with just a face. ;P
Yeah at this point if you play out an eve proper its almost guaranteed a fitness tax.
Corn is king in my book. Wheat is probably better short term for emergency food production and easier to manage for sure. I hate breaking a hoe every time I plant a field of wheat only slightly less then shucking a couple piles of fresh corn, so corn is king haha.
title says it all
Destiny that actually sounds like a good idea, LMFAO! Instead of donkey town you spawn as a bear and get to be hunted omg that would be epic. Maybe start as boar and have to get a lot of curses to get bear...lol.
I think a debuff like when you have a large posse on you after you get agro from like four or five bears to kick you off the horse is in order...it's crazy like the bears take over the whole town even if you have arrows and competent people it's still rough...
Seriously don't take it lightly it's major destructive at best the town is disrupted for 20 or 30 minutes, even getting shots off from arrows is hazardous with that many bears.
Yeah true bear assaults are nothing new. Just noting it's probably meta again, hence new meta. Meaning most effective for of mass destruction, plan accordingly.
I don't if you've noticed we've haven't been holding towns tho...so clearly we getting beat up.
Seems every night is reset to newcomen pumps.
Had a guy roll up on brown town today at the Gay Family....guy was on a horse and brought like six bears. I was old and a few minutes from death. Gotta watch riders keep arrows and meds stocked. Jesus 5 fitness in one life from one wise guy. Be alert. We hit with some curses but probably not enough. Mage Gay was the culprit.
Griefers out in it force lately, so be prepared I've gotten a little lax in making meds, red cross aprons and arrows. Make sure towns have those stocked in abundance. I'm gonna start ragging on that...sorry in advance. :S
IDK lock up horses carts with arrows and bow????
care to comment spoon? One change is me not cooking and flying off the handles lmfao
seems my usual guard duty at night has been replaced with donkey town whenever the towns consolidate. even when im not pure salt i end up in donkey town when this happens. then the towns are poorly defended when population lowest.
I'd say using curse for personal spats hurts fitness. I know it a tough pill to swallow.
I'd say not cursing suicide babies hurts fitness.
Cursing people based on verbal data from others hurt fitness....some people lie. Observe for yourself before cursing I'd say.
Prolonging minor spats into large drawn out conflict definitely hurts fitness.
Unwillingness to compromise with other village members hurts fitness.
unwilling to learn hurts fitness. i.e. yum
Rudeness definitely hurts fitness. lul
I'd also say grief squad likely more active due to success at night recently.
Anyone got anything else?
