I guess a part of this game is to always be born in a different civ. I won't lie, I find it frustrating to not be able to revisit what you just helped built and after one intense hour, being totally unable to revisit what you just did gives a feeling, I don't know, of meaninglessness. Be prepared to have a lot of demands in that direction.
Yeah, you have to let go of that. Your mission in life is simply to make a contribution; leave the world better in some way. Make a basket or a hatchet or bring some seeds in.
My usual mission in this regard is to make clothes. So many civs are full of naked people! That's so inefficient. Typically my contribution towards this is to find milk weed seeds because so many civs seem to have none.
Clothes are important, people!

It's a bit cryptic but if you search for fire, you can sort of backtrack through required ingredients.
Summary: make a fire bow drill, use it on a shaft, have a leaf and some tinder handy, and some firewood, and kindling. Use the leaf on the ember shaft, then on the tinder, then on the kindling, then firewood.
I find the clicking to move a little janky at times, especially when around trees.
I stumbled across an article on rock paper shotgun yesterday with a screenshot of the game. I almost overlooked it but thought that I may as well check it out. I saw that the article was quite old, so I thought "maybe there's a stream of it running." and sure enough there was. What a fluke that it was launch day though!
I watched SteveDutzy play for a few hours (you joined the chat for a bit) and that was enough to convince me to buy the game.
What a fantastic game! The premise is so unique! The aesthetic so cute and appealing! I understand you've been working on this for three years; rest assured that your work has been worth it.
Congratulations on making an amazing game. I look forward to spending many lifetimes playing it.
