I mean, one can alway git gud, right? Planes matter because they'll allow for people to fast travel their daughters to big towns, thus keeping many lines active and probably the town too. That's about it, they may not change how the average game works but they ARE a game changer considerig you get pros using them in large towns.
Looking at my recent family tree, we finally got the plane being built in our village up. One of our pilots made it to another village, only to be promptly murdered by the inhabitants there.
It sounds like it can be a perilous mission as well and I hope to make that flight myself one day.
Oh hey that was you? I was the kid that came up when you were old. That was a field o meat forsure.
And people still hunt rabbits. There are even the people that rush backpacks way to early and rabbit will pile somewhere. A good baker will know where the rabbit piles are in times of sheep or knife loss.
OMG JASON FUCKING ADDED MORE FUCKING USELESS TECH!!
Looms were also added and people have been asking for those for awhile now. While we can only make wings from them as of now, I doubt that will be the only use in its future.
If you have a horse its even easer to lead bears as when on top of a horse the bears can't kill you but will still follow, allowing for easy, quick, and safe (for you) transportation of bears! I know because that's how I put a bear into an animal pen!
How did I know this, yet not know this! I knew only snakes could get you, but how come I never put 2 and 2 together and try it with bears?!
How do you draw bears? I couldn't figure out if there was a way someone did it intentionally
Well they'll just chase you, and you run. I've led two bears out of a town once so its definitely possible to lead two in. He prob dropped off the two and ran back for a third.
Oh wow someone must really hate the speeds to three bear grief you like that. One is bad enough but three is overkill.
Connecting towns actually has benefits other than trade and should be done indeed, but it's not instantly an enabler to trade is all i'm saying. Before we talk about trade we must talk about the realism of the economy (or at the very least the depth of it)
Agreed that its not an enabler, but I feel like right now the true economy ARE players, and being able to trade players just by following roads can be a solid start to when it happens.
Just my way of looking at it.
The other highlight of that life other than finding the town was teaching my newish son every step for baking, which ties into the player economy aspect of it all.
Trade isn't unviable because cities are hard to connect, it's not viable because there's no need to trade nor a developed enough economy to allow for it.
Connecting is just a step that we will eventually have to complete, so why not try and start now? Sure you have the town above main hub, but if it's not at least 1k away it doesn't count as connecting another town IMO.
I made it back tonight. Was born windy pizza and brought the pizza line to this town.
In case you wondered what the note i left said
Welcome in russia.
In soviet one hour, the crops harvest you!
Sorry i had to..
Me and another guy from my village decided to run away to an endstone tower marker. on the way we found this ghost town kind of confused.
has anyone been in this town?

Yeah once or twice. There was originally a town called xxx right before the big server and i think that's where it all started. With the notes saying xxxxxxxxxxxxxx at least
I was just tasked by another town through paper note and runner to connect the town roads between us. The town is 1.6 west of the center hub town and slowly we will connect them. I put in 50 to 75 tiles of road in that life, and while i wanted to do more i also wanted to venture to the center hub and snag pics for your reference. I traveled back to our village and left another note on the end of the road saying to connect them.
Hey its a start.
Our town and the note given to us
Center hub town. You should all recognize it by those mango trees and sign. Eighteen apocalypse bases in the north.
I wish I could have gotten more pics but I wanted to make it back to my town and the center hub town turned into non grouped non related angry male greifers when I arrived.
All i know is that I've had speeds in my family tree even though I was born to three different schuler moms in two different towns. I know its a glitch, but whoever eve schuler is, they're making alot of eve spots today.
Is this fixed?
Seems ok so far. Just family trees out of wack.
Huh, that's a nice sentence. Can only be hung once... where's our torturing devices?! Oh that's right, they're called newbies.
I can actually picture jason adding shackles and a noose eventually haha. We could capture a greifer and make an example out of him in the town center.
This is not reddit
Agreed. Who says we don't already have a lil community here anyways?
hahahah I was having fun saying that to people today (not actually killing anyone) and seeing how the city would react... fyi most of the time they kill you lol... its a fun way of getting to an eve camp when you don't wanna play in a city
Reminds me of my son yesterday that would only say the n word. At first I was alarmed but he was ultimately harmless. I think he was trying the same thing haha.
Looking at your post history tells me you weren't like this before, so what's up?
Ive heard lots of people say one a man's a killer they just keep on killing and killing, they sort of develop a taste for blood. They'd kill one man or kill ten.. its all the same. After all, they can only hang you once.
Woah I thought he might eventually do a bigger server, I just didn't think we'd get it this update or even soon.
Way to go jason!

Place is still going strong, for now.
Yeah that lumber pile was amazing in its peak. Definitely my favorite part. What did the sign end up saying?
Save afk girls and drop them in a good spot. I saw a thread about this with trapping a mom to save the lineage, but you can just drop any afk girl near berry or baker and you can generally keep them going, and in turn the keep the town going. As long as its a high traffic high food location.
They can and often will be a better mom than you.
based on github entries, more bugfixes, lagfixes, hopefully he will address a few simple things i reported, like eternal snowmen, dig soil piles, etc.
the most logical thing, and fairly easy content would be glass bowls and plates
Yeah if i had to put money on it I was gonna say some type of bug fix but..
glass bowl would fix bug with sand.. Two birds with one stone?
I think this is the first week the update hasn't caught me by surprise, and now I'm actually wondering where it is?
Any thoughts on what this weeks update could bring?
For some reason I feel like glassblowing could be it.
The only thing I can think of to combat it would be to set up two at the same time and add on to both and make one obvious and one hidden. It could buy you time?
I still applaud you, this was a pretty big attempt and a beyond almost everyone. As someone who was on the fence about all this, you have swayed me and next time I hear the call I will set off to help protect it.
