#51 Re: Main Forum » Is curse blocking too powerful with the homeland, iron, Eve changes? » 2020-04-05 00:22:04

I play plenty, so not sure why that comment was made. I have taken a break here and there, but I still have many hours logged on this game.

I rarely get cursed, I'm not sure how many I actually have total, but I do know it is very very few. I'm too busy to get into role-playing or any drama that goes on around town.. I rarely use my curses as well, unless it's clear as day it's called for.. So Idk.. I don't get how people claim they end up in DT for no reason..

Sure random curses happen for no reason, I just had someone curse me recently because I wouldn't join their "Gang" but that is the first time in a long time that I have been cursed.. From what I see, in all the games I play, curses are mostly handed out when they are deserved.

It really isn't hard to not get cursed.. I agree with Tarr on this.

I agree, that sound good. The prolonged stay in DT is no fun...
Maybe make it so that donkeys do not count towards the amount of players online who have cursed one.

Thank you for my grave, paper and note you left me (as well as the track and hinged doors) on the low pop server! It was very sweet of you! smile

The messiness drives me bonkers!  The ginger town is a bit cleaner than it was when I was born in it yesterday, and I see they still have no iron.  They still have way too many crops as well.  They were flying through soil and water yesterday. A little shocked to still see them around.

Also, there is an abandoned town about  .80k east from the Gingers.. I went and looted some iron tools from there.

#55 Re: Main Forum » Made my signature cow pen again » 2020-03-30 20:51:19

I like the look of it! Black and deep purple are my favorite colors! <3

Can cows walk through tables?  If not, it might not look as cool, but tables would be ideal (where the middle grapes are) you can add single bowls and buckets on the tables for easy/quick grabbing when milking. When done the table could hold the extra buckets of milk.

#56 Re: Main Forum » 1 iron = 10 pip hungry work » 2020-03-27 21:35:30

I mean, Iron veins are good for quick iron, but it's nothing to take a horse cart full of baskets out to collect iron.. There is Iron everywhere.. The map is huge.. with a rubbered horse cart that's 18 iron plus whatever you can fit in your BP and shorts pocket. So possibly 23 iron on 1 run with no hungry work.

Many dead towns are usually around fairly close as well, you can usually find a decent amount of iron in each one.

I for one appreciate the road very much. Being a gatherer, explorer and one who likes going and getting other towns what my skin tone can get them, it helps a lot with me knowing where I am, where other towns are, where abandoned towns are and where certain goods are..

That road gives me a ton of information to make the most out of my gathering/helping life! smile I don't use Hetuw (thinking about learning the controls to it though for the saved cords.)  I do use Awbz, the road is kind of like my Hetuw on keeping track of where certain things are.

I love finding newer camps while I'm gathering.. If my family is pretty well off, I will start bringing the newer family stuff I find to help them get going.. I start off first with clothes, BPs, food and basic steel tools. I just lived a life, gathered up clothes for my family because we were starting to run low, brought back a bunch and two loose horses with carts..

My last trip out, I was about 40. I found a newer white family starting up.  I ran around gathering things for them, it really helped them expand the town pretty quickly.. I died there and left them my clothes and my horse so that they could gather what they need easily..  It was a nice spot for them though, about .20k north was a long road that leads to many abandoned/dead towns. My camp (the Tans) was just .30k south from them.

#64 Re: Main Forum » Is everyone doing okay? » 2020-03-23 07:43:53

I'm an introvert and somewhat of a hermit! wink  So staying home isn't too hard for me to do. My husband on the other hand likes to be out and about, so it's a bit harder on him. I've been taking this time to have him get my "Honey-do" list done around the house. Keeps him busy and his mind off of being stuck at home.

#65 Re: Main Forum » bear zoo » 2020-03-22 23:15:04

I was born there earlier. Not sure who did it.

I was born in the black family and traveled up to the tans let horses loose out of the desert so that they could get them, then worked my way over to the white family and gathered a bunch of horses up for them as well.

I hate not having enough horses around when I'm born in a town.. I'm a gatherer and traveler a horse makes my gathering much easier. People tend to run off with horses and never come back.

#66 Re: Main Forum » we need a new bag... » 2020-03-19 23:21:36

The map is HUGE! There is sooo much untouched burdock out there.. If you have to take a cart and baskets to make a burdock run, it can be easily done, even easier with a horse cart with rubber tires.

Another backpack option just for cosmetic options would be nice though smile

Great update! All of it is pretty awesome, but being able to rope sheep has to be the star of this update!!

Thank you Jason smile

#68 Re: Main Forum » Spoonwood » 2020-03-15 20:54:46

I'm honestly confused on why he hasn't been banned yet..

He openly states that he is only here to encourage people to not play or recommend this game. (Ie: Disrupting Jason's livelihood by trying to prevent money going into his pockets.)

#69 Re: Main Forum » A different take on on shelters: energy bar » 2020-03-11 18:48:45

I'm confused? How is the heat from the building not rewarding? If a building is done correctly, it puts you at perfect temperature. Which makes your food bars/bonus decrease slower. Unless I'm missing something?

You are seriously delusional if you believe that..

It makes make curious though, if you stalk a game forum, the way you have been, on a game that you say that you do not play or like, how are you with the people in your life.. That's actually a little scary to think about..  I bet you got some missing people secrets hidden in that closet of yours..

Nice artwork Cantface, I really like your style.

#73 Re: Main Forum » Art: Ohol vs Survive Together » 2020-03-03 05:33:14

I love the look of OHOL! Comparing the two photos above, the other game looks like a cheap/very generic knock-off of OHOL.  Most of the items shown are just hard to make out what they are supposed to be! Yeah, I don't like it.

#74 Re: Main Forum » Family professions. » 2020-02-26 21:06:35

It would be a good way to teach new players as well.. Mother's would be more prone to keeping their babies with them while teaching them the profession that is passed on to them.

Or at least make Job titles user select-able..  That way it's not set in stone for anyone and if you want to declare yourself the baker/smith/doc/Fisherman/Lumberjack ect. you can.. This gives you the title and people know by hovering over who is who if they selected a profession. It would make it easier finding people who know certain tools.

You're a young one aren't you?

Nobody is using his mental health against him. People are simply pointing out to him that he is off balance.  Most people can't see their own actions as being unusual, and think they are doing just fine.  The older you get the easier it is for you to notice, and easier for you to put the bullshit aside and let them know that they are off balance. I have my husband to alert me when something needs adjusted with my mind. He may not have anyone to point it out to him. Without my husband, I would want someone who notices my actions to let me know, because if left untreated it can and will take a horrible turn rather quickly.  I don't want to see that for anyone, I don't care who they are. So yes, I will inform anyone who is clearly acting off balance that they need to seek some help. I would rather tell them than to find out later that they harmed themselves because no one spoke up and informed them that they are in that mental spiral.
