#51 Re: Main Forum » An end to /die » 2023-11-18 12:36:05

Problem isn't /die, its people that abuse it to be annoying.

Simple solution is to make /die impossible after like 10 seconds.

I got good news... Most modern mice come with 4 buttons. Therefor Jason could make one of those buttons = /die

Problem solved.

I've email jason two times for technical support or a refund. Haven't heard from him. I doubt he'll help he already has my money.

I bought a second account because I got sent to donkey town. There is no rule against it, and even in the update description, it says to get out of donkey town you can either be playing when that group of people arent online or by buying a new account. I chose the latter. Paid the money, got the two emails. When I try to login it says "login failed". Jason himself has said in a post that if you email him he will help with troubleshooting. Two weeks ago I sent him an email. Monday i sent him another email. No response. It seems like he's gotten the money and that/s all he cares about.

You must log into your secondary account on steam, launch the game and write down the email and password from the settings.... You don't actually use the second email besides as a steam account login.

Yes, that's a brilliant idea! Please curse every new player you encounter, do us that favor!

They don't need to curse you back, you're just doing the job for us, that way you cannot be born near any veteran who cursed you before AND you cannot be born anywhere near any new player you cursed either, making sure you end up in Donkey Town even more frequently and the new players will still be free to be born near the nice and veteran players who didn't curse them. Thank you for making sure new players don't have to endure a griefer's company.

It's amazing how much griefers complain about the cursing system without even understanding how it works. It's not about the nº of curses. Even if you have 10 accounts and curse me, that still counts as 1 place i can't be born (near the account your currently using) all other 9 accounts that cursed me are pointless since they are offline. While none of your 10 accounts will be able to be born in the family i'm in without me needing to curse or move a finger. Feel free to curse me because i don't want to play near you! smile

I so wanna curse you now.

If you are not there yet, im certain u will be eventually with that mentallity. U could also just try and teach them what they're doing wrong.

U cursing new players is not gonna send them to DT since most people are more sensible than that.

Ohh you would be amazed what people curse over.

One time I was cursed because I said screw green beans.

Just wait till griefers figure out that this curse system works 2 ways and start cursing everyone out of town with 5 year curses.

Just wait....

New Meta isn't sheep griefing, It's cursing....

Just start cursing everyone, can't be too cautious.
5 years is a long time.
Best to curse anyone you bump into because they might have cursed you.

Imagine this. Because this is how the game will be played.

5 years = more accounts
More accounts = More profit

Not hard to see that.

I hope people realize how boring this game is.

Funny how Jasons Mods come out of the woodwork to attack some 14 year old...

They wanted this update now  live with it Shady...

Wait can we get some more Mods to comment?

Welcome to America where we don't sugar coat stuff.

I’m not hyper sensitive about critical language. I was making a parallelism. What I was saying was that you held fug to a standard but you didn’t hold yourself to the same standard.

This is the same pattern I think you have with the new curse system. You want the removal of CURSE MY BABY to be retroactive, but you don’t want the 5 year curse to be retroactive.

Sounds like an over punishment to /die if you ask me.

I’m not trying to be snide; Do you see your hypocrisy? Did you fire back on purpose? Strilar rightly pointed out fug’s derogatory remarks, then you added your own.

If we want to get our ideas across we need to stop muddying the waters with personal attacks. I understand that personal behaviors can be the subjects of these debates but piling on is a distraction and doesn’t add to the conversation.

Player's age doesn't matter, his behavior and actions do. Don't discriminate others because of them being younger or older, different sex, country, etc.

I can understand if you think it’s unfair for a 90 day curse to be turned into a 5 year curse. But why do you feel it should turn into a 0 day curse?

Because baby curses no longer exsist?

So punish everyone that /died and was cursed for 5 years also?

#69 Re: Main Forum » Why "Five Years" isn't really "Five Years" » 2023-07-20 21:58:44

Jason should have to make this whole curse thing known when someone buys the game.

Sorta shady how he has secret magic systems.

Also, I agree wtih Shady that the curses should be cleared because of this change.

Jason wants to change the rules of the game and make it proactive to appease a minority of players.

The Rule change should have automatically been a clearing of curses.

You changed all the rules Jason, now make it right.

No one should be cursed for 5 years after they /died to the wrong person.

Pretty hard to separate you from your griefs. That's the nature of the buisness.

Your Shady reason for wanting to ban HETUW is very shady.

Freedom of speech, is a thing you understand this right?

Could the trust system not be used for this? If there were a way to track someone's "trust score" similar to their curse score, you could use it to weight the process the game already uses to choose leader.
You would have to filter out offline accounts and donkeys so it won't be exploited so easily. I still think something like that would be better than using playtime but probably not much better than what we have now though.

This could easily be abused seeing how no one is using the trust system.

#75 Re: Main Forum » Hetuw Should Be Banned » 2023-07-17 01:14:58

He just wants to get Hetuw removed because he likes to troll everyone, and everything.

GL Jason keeping this game alive if you remove it, and don't add WASD controls and a zoom feature.

Every town would be doomed.

You would instantly lose 50% of players and 100% of the vets.
