Too late.  It has already been added to OneTech.   Going live next update.    Good luck paying off your debt in time.

Noooooooo!!!

I got it. I just wasn't logged in last time this was bumped.

Think the only person I've ever buried was Iron Bear Mother, because she killed a ton of bears. No idea her in game name. Even put a bear rug near her grave. No stone.

#56 Re: Main Forum » Fertility doll. » 2019-04-24 15:04:23

How about this: An "Art base" Which then allows players to hang items on it in the order in which the item is placed. There'd be say seven nodes along the stem. If you wanted a bear at the bottom, you place a bear rug. Blank spot because the rug is too big? Hit it with a round stone to bump the node up a notch. Use a sharp stone to lower the increment or remove an item. Continue on until the Art base is filled. You could then finish the base with some sort of item to lock it in.

You know what I'm seeing now? People are using fences to toss their clutter outside their area and making a mess of the rest of the town. So now the town is a dump and people's fences are neat and pristine.

#59 Re: Main Forum » How Toxic made Jason make griefing easier. » 2019-04-23 01:43:42

Remember to keep your kids' names short and your Eve's name shorter. Makes it a lot easier to curse them.

#60 Re: Main Forum » so when do we ought to expect the end of clutter in OHOL ? » 2019-04-23 00:25:30

Roads through the center of town and within four squares of a forge or along the side of a field are annoying. If you're doing that expect players to work against you because zooming off five squares when you're trying to get work done is frustrating at best, lethal at worst.

#61 Re: Main Forum » so when do we ought to expect the end of clutter in OHOL ? » 2019-04-22 23:39:05

The last town I was in was crazy. Everything was spread out. Fenced areas were jumbled about. Sheep one side of the forge, berries the other. Little fields spread out all over in places I assume were once fenced in. God help me but the only thing unifying the town was a semi finished through the center of town road. I could make neither head nor tails of anything. I just gave up.

Great playerbase we got here. Good to know you got your fellow players' backs. Guess you can't expect much really. What a bunch of weak sauce.

If you don't draw a line, you condone this kind of behavior. You are part of the problem.

#63 Re: Main Forum » This village is MINE now ! » 2019-04-20 13:45:46

You know this is just going to end up like the goldfish. Keep in mind it's way harder to flush a village down the toilet.

Humans. I know what behavior to expect with every other creature.

#65 Re: Main Forum » If you had Vog access on official servers for 1 hour, what would youdo » 2019-04-17 22:40:48

If I were to have VOG for an hour I would find sincere stew patches and bless the stew makers with a box filled with baskets full of sharp stones, plates, bowls and round stones and in a booming voice chastise those who would attempt to selfishly take the box for a cart.

#66 Re: Main Forum » Twins hate. » 2019-04-15 11:36:40

When twinning one should expect to be killed or left to die by mom. Start from there. If she allows you to live, great! If not? Next life. Don't be angry or hurt or take it personally. The damage twins can do is much more than just a single bad egg.  The damage experienced twins with zoom mod, mics and a bit of creativity will just make you sad and question your faith in humanity.

And yes, they will often both die if one of them dies. Often friends go together and one is more experienced, teaching the other. The new guy dies and the teaching player dies so they can try again.

Be understanding of the situation, sympathize with the mom with the hard choice she feels she has to make given the current population of griefers on the server. Don't beg to be allowed to live. It's undignified and annoying. Say IT OK and move on to the next life.

#67 Re: Main Forum » Scattering compost into soil piles on the ground - why exactly? » 2019-04-15 00:53:22

I'll empty baskets of compost but only onto boardwalks around neatly delineated fields. Anywhere else invites someone to come along and till all three soil instead of spreading it around in piles of two.

#68 Re: Main Forum » Working Mothers » 2019-04-12 11:59:52

Hunting rabbits is fun with a kid. I think they tend to stick around more if they see a fully fur-clad hunter mom.  There's a lot of waiting involved so it's easy to set your traps and hold your kid for a while while the rabbits go through their agonizingly slow death. If you have a flint and thread you can clothe your kid right then and there.

I am absolutely in awe of successful forgemothers. I don't know how they churn out tools and keep a baby fed. I can barely keep from swapping the wrong objects much less pay attention to another human being on a short hunger timer.

#69 Re: Main Forum » If you really want to grief a town. » 2019-04-12 01:37:22

I've been planting milkweed obsessively all day and noone's cursed me. I've been hiding my deeds by making compost on the sly as well. The FOOLS! MUHAHAHA!

#70 Re: Main Forum » Organizing a Messy City Guide » 2019-04-09 23:56:43

A second oven should be made near the forge for things like rubber.
A second kiln should be made near the bakery to make things like bowls and plates and charcoal for water pumps.
This area can also double as a rabbit dropoff point.
Output bins between the bakery and the nursery would keep babies out of the kitchen
Nursery should have boxes for clothing. Take a backpack and fill it with shoes and fur pants to save space.
A tool smith is great near the center of town. If you're working on a car or radio, you would do well to do make a new forge and newcomen setup near the edge of town.
Salsa and potatoes and ketchup should be done at the edge of town. They're fun and all, but not a core industry. Same with Tacos and burritos.

Don't store all the pies in boxes in the kitchen. Get that food out into the fields. Same with stew. Stew should be distributed not centrally, but locally to workstations.

#71 Re: Main Forum » Trash and Decay update. » 2019-04-09 00:35:59

There is a tiny window in which a newly rediscovered town can save the baskets before they start decaying. I don't know how long you have but if you're an Eve and come across a dead town, start stacking baskets or have your kids start stacking baskets. Same with saving carts. You have a small window before carts will move to the broken stage. If you put wheels on them or hitch it to a horse, you can save the cart.

Just a quick correction, Sugar is used to make vinegar for making black dye. So two recipes now.

#74 Re: Main Forum » Punished by my own son. But did I deserve this fate? » 2019-04-08 10:40:14

My Eve name has three letters, my kids get no more than four letters for their first. I brought them into this world, I have no problem with cursing them if they turn bad.

#75 Re: Main Forum » Skirts and dresses have no pockets. » 2019-04-08 01:48:53

Like I'll happily throw all my money at a decently priced jean company that produces womens jeans with good pockets. There's definitely a profitable business opportunity there, I'm telling you!

Carhartt or LLBean are probably the only women's jeans that are 100% cotton and have decent pockets these days.
