I’m not hyper sensitive about critical language. I was making a parallelism. What I was saying was that you held fug to a standard but you didn’t hold yourself to the same standard.
This is the same pattern I think you have with the new curse system. You want the removal of CURSE MY BABY to be retroactive, but you don’t want the 5 year curse to be retroactive.
Sounds like an over punishment to /die if you ask me.

I’m not trying to be snide; Do you see your hypocrisy? Did you fire back on purpose? Strilar rightly pointed out fug’s derogatory remarks, then you added your own.
If we want to get our ideas across we need to stop muddying the waters with personal attacks. I understand that personal behaviors can be the subjects of these debates but piling on is a distraction and doesn’t add to the conversation.

Jason should have to make this whole curse thing known when someone buys the game.
Sorta shady how he has secret magic systems.
Also, I agree wtih Shady that the curses should be cleared because of this change.
Jason wants to change the rules of the game and make it proactive to appease a minority of players.
The Rule change should have automatically been a clearing of curses.
You changed all the rules Jason, now make it right.
No one should be cursed for 5 years after they /died to the wrong person.

Could the trust system not be used for this? If there were a way to track someone's "trust score" similar to their curse score, you could use it to weight the process the game already uses to choose leader.
You would have to filter out offline accounts and donkeys so it won't be exploited so easily. I still think something like that would be better than using playtime but probably not much better than what we have now though.
This could easily be abused seeing how no one is using the trust system.
He just wants to get Hetuw removed because he likes to troll everyone, and everything.
GL Jason keeping this game alive if you remove it, and don't add WASD controls and a zoom feature.
Every town would be doomed.

System didn't work previously when someone had to specifically opt in to the system. You either spent a whole life asking for followers then immediately the chain broke because the next person wouldn't follow someone else or people just completely ignored the system.
Think we all just want a system that doesn't make the leader have less playtime then 99% of the town.
Just because you stand in town and eat pies doesn't make you a good leader.
Anyone can live to 60 and not learn a single thing.
No way, leaders that can barely feed themselves is great fun, and interesting content.
If leader went off total hours plays multiplied by meme score, we may actually have good leaders.
What's the fun in that?
