Alright, my bad. But then, this is just a reaction to what is tweaked by players/modders. What about the idea of implementing a display size feature in the vanilla game? The modifications seem not too complex as far as I know in Joriom's executables. It indeed is not perfect, as stated in the post you link, as the information sent by the server might not be enough to fill the screen, but this is barely noticeable in 1080p in my own experience (the white edges, when they appear, are rather far away from the character). And even this could probably be improved, I guess (more complex).
Hi Joriom,
Thanks for uploading and updating this, this is awesome.
I was wondering something; I didn't see Jason react to or write about this anywhere (although I might have missed something obviously), but I was wondering if giving the possibility to players to adapt the format of the vanilla client to their monitor/preferences could be a thing? It doesn't sound to me like too much of an heresy and it doesn't seem too complicated to implement. Also, the fact that you have to update your files after every update is quite tedious...
Also, the recent client fix makes the zoomed out executables not work, currently.
(Btw, you spelled "oryginal client" on the first post, it catches my eyes every time I come here)
I poke bear if I can't find snek.
Dieing to starvation is less fun than by animals.
You wanna abandon me? As a present, I will leave you a friendly bear who just wants to snuggle.
Damn, I do that every time, but never actually notice that it was a serious threat to my -disgraceful- mothers and their relatives. But then, being abandoned near a bear cave happens very often with an Eve running for a spot, so she might settle far away, anyway.
No, you are working way too well.
Im actually so suprised that the first thing I post has like 500 views and 25 posts, not that I care but it's like a cool bonus
This is working waaay too well!
Someone from outside the game?... Are you... an AI? A bot that plays the game and writes on the forums as part of a social experiment that Jason conducts on us?! Will you be part of his army of robots when he'll take over the world!?
I literly just became a hunter to get pork for someone who talked about stew a little bit. he said bitte to me when i said danke. If it's you
Hahaha! Yes, it was me! Thank you so much for hunting the boar and transporting the meat! This critical question about pork tacos could never have been answered without you help (and the knife of your mother).
Stew stays first in the food ranking, btw.
Hey, I spent an entire life making the pork tacos (hunting and preparing everything, damn, this is the worst food to make in the game!) and it worked! So no, no bug there. Maybe you tried it with wheat tortillas rather than limed corn ones...
It would be so nice to see people eating together.
What I like about your idea, besides food variety and bonuses, is the fact that it can imply a time of gathering for the members of the community, which not only can be fun in itself, but also permits to exchange about what is needed at that time and give directions in order to improve the settlement. That is something that really lacks in the game, I think.
Mushroom + stew = fun stew.
Fun stew is a good idea (damn, a whole village tripping balls for having eaten in the same crock), even though stew itself is already pretty fun.
Yes, you can actually make bean burritos (wheat tortillas) and tacos (corn tortillas) but only pork tacos. Not sure about their respective nutritional value, however.
I'll try to make some next time I am born in a village that allows it. (Always do stew too)
The last update was literally three days ago! Check the News or the update log.
Sure enough
Good job, though. I've never had more than 5 gen, as everyone dies by the third/forth, when they all think that ten plots of carrots will be enough for 15 people to never go foraging.
Also, note that you have to swap a bowl or a basket filled with soil by right-clicking the object you want to pick rather than the ground.
You need to use crafting.
I think it is pc (floor) + hammer (hand) = game off + hammer (hand)
Onetech needs an update, I can't find this recipe.
Indeed, but I am quite new to the game and, even though I thoroughly enjoy it, I am not sure that I can maintain enough dedication to create and sustain a server on my own. I was rather hoping to join a server ran by someone else and shamelessly take advantage of this someone else's work.
Hi If and everyone,
So, I was wondering if your server was bound to be reborn at some point or if it is permanently down. You wrote that you shut it down for now and that you lacked time to take care of it, but I was hoping that the situation might have changed (and that it actually meant that you'd get back to it at some point).
I am playing from Europe with the lag you know (my character sometimes has to go through the animation four or five times before the action is performed), so I would be rather enthusiastic about playing on a EU server...
