I was your mum Queen Duchess! It's always so nice to hear the family story from my child's perspective and you wrote it so beautifully
It was a wonderful life and I'm glad I was able to give you some knowledge to pass on. You were a wonderful child! I made sure those were my last words since they had me feeling some type of way too <3 Love you more!
Baker wrote:The Eve named her family the "Butts" and started producing new kids. I checked her family tree and she lived until 60 and had grandkids. I hope they survived and kept the city going.
I was Eve Butt. I miraculously appeared above the pie making station. I think my lineage may have died out though, from the looks of it.
I just lived another 60 years as Jupiter Sol. All of our girls died really early on, and it was just my brother and me for a very long time. Mars started on the flooring and stone walls, and I continued making more tools (thanks for the head start, mom!) and made a cart and a well. We worked on our own projects, silently for the most part, passing each other every now and then. Then, one day I just found Mars dead by the wall, the backpack I made him on the floor. I didn't get to say my goodbye, but you did a great job bro. I'm glad we got to live out our old age together.
I was your mom, Terra. So happy you both lived to old age, I only wish I had had a daughter. It was great while it lasted <3
I’m not sure if the town I was in had a name, but it was pretty nice. There were plenty of pies and carrots and clothing when I was born, we had a sheep pen made out of trash pits. I was a brown, short haired baby girl named Tabea (my mom, Abbie, tried for Tabby)
As soon as I was born, my mother held me and told me “your grandma would have loved to see you” My little sister, Tiara, was handed the crown by my grandmother when we were babies.
Made lots of pies to add to our stockpile, then tended the sheep. I was given a backpack with a knife by my great uncle (?) before he died. My little sister came up to me as I was making pies and gave me a wolf crown, probably scavenged from the corpse of one of our ancestors. Really sweet gesture.
I had a few children that I unfortunately forgot the names of (I didnt love you any less!!) I do know for sure that I had Blossom and Kai live to adulthood. Blossom gave me many grandchildren, and quite a few granddaughters. I made them wool sweaters and hats.
As I neared my end, I gave my crown, knife in backpack, all my clothes to my youngest granddaughter. I think her name was Olivia? She was tan like me.
I expressed my love for my family one last time and one of my grandsons walked onto my tile and hugged me. I hugged him back and called for a group hug. All of my children and grandchildren ran to my tile seconds before I died of old age. I’m glad I could die in the loving embrace of my family <3
In the past few days, I’ve been surprised to find that I keep spawning in pretty big, advanced villages. Usually I would keep spawning to Eves and keep getting abandoned or I would spawn as an Eve. It was a rare treat to be born in a nice city.
This time, I was born as a brown baby girl with short hair. My mother was Wanda, no last name, but she didn’t care for me and as a result, I had no name. One of my cousins or aunts nursed me until I was old enough to work, and I noticed there were about three or four people running around with crowns.
As I so often do, I walked up to one of the kings, my nameless cousin, and asked him to marry me. I was still a child and he, a young blonde man, but I knew what I wanted. He said “of course!” And gave me his crown as a wedding gift. I found a sheepskin and put that on, then one of the elderly kings ran over to me and told me that he trusted me. I had never spoken to him but I was glad to know I have a trusting face. He had two knives in his pack and handed it to me, told me to protect the town. I promised that I would.
Not long afterwards, I noticed a man running around camp with a bow and arrow. I was disturbed, seeing as he kept following me with it. I had no time to draw my knife so I ran and found my husband. I gave him one of my knives and asked him to protect me. Our love was real, and of course he took on that duty. We expressed our love often, even until his death. He killed the man with the bow and we celebrated. My husband very generously brought me food from the wilds as I nursed our children.
I had many children, Olive being my first daughter. Not all of my children made it, unfortunately. I tried my best, though. While my husband was still in his prime, he forged more crowns for our family. I gave one to our first daughter and later on, we gave her two more. One for her future husband and another for her firstborn child. Among my other children were Prince, Blossom, Kai, and Oliver. I expressed my love for them often, hugging and kissing them as much as I could while I was still able to hold them close.
I had a trusted informant, an advisor named Samier. She came to me often, telling me of news around the village. There was a plot to murder me and she kept me informed of anything suspicious, providing as many details as she could. Thankfully, no one else ever tried to harm me or my children.
Prince was one of my only children left at the end of my life. I had seen Olive not long before my death but I was unable to find her or my grandchildren. I gave Prince all of our family crowns, told him to find a wife and give one to her, and then pass it along to his children. He had a knife in his pack so I told him to protect the town and the last few young girls that we had.
There was one young blonde girl named Jamia. I don’t remember if she was no relation or my relative to some degree, but she seemed to be the youngest girl we had. I told her to take my crown and promise to be a good queen. Pass the crown to your children. She agreed and I gave her my pack as well. It had a knife inside. I made quite a few pies before my death so I hope it was able to sustain the rest of the town for a while.
It was a really nice town. I lamented on my husband’s death, how I missed him every day that he was gone, but I was assured that I would meet him soon. The thought comforted me at my end, knowing that I would soon be able to embrace him once more.
What a nice life.
So this is a thread where you confess your sins. Tell us of your crimes and all will be forgiven, my child.
I was born in Fencetown in 2HOL. I was tending the sheep my whole life and doing pretty well at it, made a few sweaters, hats, and booties. But I accidentally killed the wrong sheep and the only ones left had been shorn. Lambs had died and I murdered the wrong sheep.. I’m sorry ![]()
Ironically, no one had any boots. I would have made some but we didn’t have a knife and I didn’t want to get in the way of others smithing.
I was killed by a wolf in my previous life because I didn’t realize they run like fucking Usain Bolt after you shoot them. I respawned to a new village, the Boots family. I was a boy named Kol Boots. Food situation seemed decent so I decided to finally achieve my goal of making a wolf hat.
Made a bow and arrow in the woods, brought it to camp to ask if anyone knew where the biome was, but no one knew. I think someone thought I was going to kill them because they made bows and arrows as well and someone said “I’m going to kill him”. I ran away, clubbed a seal and made my first coat. Clubbed another one, made another jacket for people in the group. I think I made three or four of those, then made two or three wolf hats.
I wanted to get one more wolf but I stumbled upon a gold vein. Asked if someone would help me since we didn’t have a cart but was ignored. I offered to make someone a crown if they helped but still nope. Ok then. I made two trips by myself to collect the gold, made the carrot crown and placed it on my head just a minute before I turned elderly.
I had a nephew, Tony, who was the only person who thanked me for the sealskin jacket and wolf hat. Obviously my fav person. He was still a young man so I told him he was the new king and gave him my crown. He thanked me again and it felt good.
Unfortunately, there were no girls left. Just men and a woman too old to have children. I guess they didn’t care enough to feed them.
Tony was nice but I felt like I wasted a lot of effort on the rest of that family. Still felt good to finally make those hats and coats tho
they often say, and i do believe they not new, but they still starve near the farm holding a basket, usually 1 out of 9 kids is a good number, one daughter never enough, two is often too much.
I carry them to a berry bush, leaving all behind, explaining stay here, pick off branches, get some milkweed, return in 5 minutes. Okay. they dont pick off a berry they just run back where we came from, knowing that there is no food there, often they starve. Sometimes i get like 3 out of 7 who doesnt forget to eat. But they expect someone to farm all life and they die on first time a watering cycle begins. Teaching is pointless, i ask them if they want a hard eve run, or hard run in general they mostly do. But if i run with one kid and work, they dont make things happen for us.
today i shoved a guy how to make pies and some nifty tricks, in between making blade and shear tool, getting extra wood for him
but food wasnt an issue, and havent had other goals really.other guy was also new, he wanted to compost, we barely had babies, like 3, and one girl died early, so i hope the civ lasted, also the two guys looked the same so was hard to know which is which. he also followed me and watched me do it, so it was kinda sympathetic so i just showed a few tricks with sheep, mutton pie, kindling and stuff. i went out as a kid with a fresh backpack and returned with 5 iron as a man. Had an abandoning mom and an aunt who called me oliver, the most nice lady who raised me up and called me oliver even if i had no name. she was old till i completed the shear tool, and was so nice hearing her congratulate me. Was a half life of work to do without any iron and wood nearby but someone mentioned when i was a baby and i was determined to make one.
I was your aunt but I adopted you as my own :’) I didn’t know how to make the shears so I was so happy when you completed it not long before I died of old age. I made so many pies for you all. Hope the civ lasted. I accidentally made a sign by the bakery and realized I couldn’t move it so I made another one above the farm. I wanted to try my hand at making letters but I was too old at that point. You were a great kid <3
If I’m thinking of the same city, the sign says “Fucks” now. I didn’t change it but it was funny to see
Tarr, were you Beth? I remember a blonde woman coming to the southwest village and telling people to stop griefing, but my nephew, the king in a past life(who saved my life and hand fed me berries until I was old enough), claimed that he was murdered by your people before respawning to us. The northeast wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows either. Both had shed blood.
In my first life, when I met Beth, I was a woman. Nameless because my mother didn’t love me. My nephew pointed out that every time Beth showed up, our people left to go north and tools disappeared with them. When I was just a child, a man with a bow was running around our camp. I assume it was one of your people. I hid in the forest for years, scavenging food until I was blessed with daughters. When I came back, he was no longer there. We feared they would come back to kill us all so I helped my nephew craft a knife. It was us or them.
We ran north together but he got lost and gave me the knife before he starved in front of me. His dying wish was that I kill Beth. I had never senselessly killed before, but I couldn’t let my nephew, the former king, die in vain. I found the northeast camp and chased Beth but couldn’t get her so I stabbed another man before I starved to death in my old age. Was called a cunt (lol) and then I think Beth stabbed me. An eye for an eye.
The south remembers.
I was in the Southwest clan earlier today and.... from what I heard, my brother slaughtered them all. No women or children left in the Northeast. He brought back carts of pies, clothing, stolen tools. He even got naked before going back for another cart because “there’s so much shit to steal!” We were still doing pretty well when I died but one of our young girls said she was going north to repopulate the town. Hopefully she starved before reaching it lol
Long live the South!
Yesterday, I was born into a little city with a glitchy bear just hanging around. I was born to that same village earlier as a boy and my aunt kept grabbing me and trying to feed me to the bear (“let’s kiss the bear”) but I kept jumping out of her arms until I was too old to be held. Told my mom she was trying to kill me but she didn’t care lol. I tried to set it loose to kill my aunt who fed my baby sister to the bear but it wouldn’t budge so I just walked into it and killed myself.
Not long after, I spawned there again, but as a girl. My mother died immediately after giving birth to me and my life was miraculously saved by being born in the right place at the right time. My Great Great uncle was working on the farm when he saw me and heard my cries, immediately started to feed me carrots, explaining that I was the only girl left and I needed to repopulate. He pleaded for me to stay alive. It took him his whole life to get the compost and fix the farm after that army of children did nothing but eat everything. It sounded like he had lived a very hard life and was exhausted.
He turned elderly just a few minutes after my birth, and the carrot harvest was finally ready as soon as I was able to grab. He died not long afterwards, but not before he gave me my mother’s knife and told me I was their last hope.
There were two other men in the camp, maybe my uncles. They made pies and brought it to me as I worked on the farm and raised my children. I asked how many I should keep when the time came, and I was told to raise them all because we needed people. Better chances to keep the city alive, I think. Some of my kids were noobs, some were pro. I always give backpacks to the pro children because I’ve noticed that the noobs often run off with their clothing and starve somewhere away from camp. Which may or may not be a mistake, since those “pros” could easily be a griefer in disguise.
I had so many children, I was even able to breastfeed some of my grandchildren. Dove, Blossom, Robin, Kai, Bear, and Petal. Also a son named Ash who instantly suicided. I had spent the most time around Blossom at the farm and she was always hard working so I decided to trust her with my knife to protect the village. Just seconds before I died, I noticed that Dove had made her own knife and carried it in her pack... hopefully for the greater good and not malicious purposes.
Thank you, Great Great uncle. I hope I did you proud. You saved my life and I tried to save your town. I hope it continues to thrive!
At least I learned some lessons for the next time I see a steel file and a random kid just silently crafting away at the forge! But dammit Baker, omg. It was me who said that it was *probably* the blonde, but I meant the curly haired woman with a shirt and no pants, not the boy. I didn’t even know for sure if it was her either but she seemed sketchy to me too because there were no maple trees around, and when I finally got a firebrand, she turned it into a short shaft.... not sure if it was intentional tho. You just really can’t trust anybody. I never thought a child of mine would murder a whole village but it happened. Constant vigilance!
I remember a sign that said “Luvui”.. not sure if that’s the name of the town or someone just stuck random letters on there. Anyways, my name was Katty, and you were all murdered by my own nameless son.
Robin, my favorite son, you tried your best to get the bastard, but I think he murdered you too. I believe my daughter, Petal was also murdered. It’s all my fault and I apologize for that.
There was a woman, Mariyoh or something like that. She killed a boy because she said he planted milkweed in the carrot farm. This was just the beginning. Robin took her arrow and hid it in his backpack in case she tried to go on a killing spree. I was questioning her about it when she ran to the farm and starved to death. I found a steel file in her pack and thought “she was the griefer”. Why else would she have the file in her pack?
I made the mistake of setting it on the ground... I noticed that I had another son, and he was nameless, because I had intended to abandon some of my babies as there wasn’t enough food to have too many. He was working at the forge when I noticed he was making steel of some sort. My gut instincts told me that something was wrong, that I should take that piece of metal he just made. I hovered over the steel and it said “steel hoe blade” so I thought I was just paranoid and left it alone.
Soon afterwards, I noticed that he had a knife in his pack. Instantly on red alert. I told everyone around me what he looked like, that he had no name, and there was a mad scramble to make weapons as he began his slaughter on our people.
Unfortunately as I grew older, my stomach grew smaller. He picked all of the seeds, ate all of the berries, all the cactus fruit, no pies left. I brought him into this world and it felt only right for me to take him out of it. I chased him with a bow in my old age as my family was slaughtered around me one by one, but I was unable to avenge my children before I starved. Hopefully he starved himself out and some of my grand children were able to survive.
Always trust your gut instincts. Always beware of the unnamed. It makes it easier for them to get away with crimes like these. If I had just kept that file in my pack or taken that blade, you might all still be alive. I blame myself.
The Dick family
I was born to a small camp in the desert when I noticed my beautiful last name. Immediately after being born, my mother, Rabab, explained that she had lost her old village and family so she started a new one in the desert. I had a few siblings, not all of them made it, but my sisters, Newt and Unnamed played large roles in my life. My name was John Dick and I was a blonde, baby faced boy.
The farm wasn’t looking so good and we were running back and forth to collect cactus fruit until the carrots were back on track again. I brought back a bunch of fruit, then decided to run off to look for seeds. Along the way, I stumbled upon a neat graveyard and snared rabbits. I thought there must be a civilization of some sort nearby, so I followed it, and stumbled into a village of my elderly male family members, not a woman or child in sight.
We were all Dicks! They had lots of carrots harvested and a large farm full of dry seeds, clothing, a berry farm. I couldn’t believe my luck. I was naked, my hands carrying a measly basket of berries and the elders exclaimed “a child!” I told them that we had women back in camp, my mother and sisters, and they told me to bring them back. I vowed to keep that promise. I grabbed a basket of carrots and ran as fast as I could.
By the time I was back home, my mother had turned gray. She would have no more children. I told everyone I found her old home and for a while, no one listened to me. I told tales of many carrots and that was enough to get my youthful, unnamed sister to follow me. She had already had children but she grabbed her newborn son and we ran south. We stopped periodically and I told her to eat from my basket, risking my own life for our family to live on.
We eventually made it to the large camp my mother had lost, but by the time we got there, all of the elders had died. They left their clothing by the farm and we quickly suited up and got to work on the farm. My sister raised a son named Jack, who looked just like me. It seemed like my sister was almost getting too old to have more children and I got worried. The last thing I ever said to her was “You need to have a girl.” She said nothing and I never saw her again after that.
Jack and I continued to work on the farm, but it became clear that it was just the two of us now. As the elders before us, all of our women died out. I’m not sure what happened to my sister, whether she intentionally starved herself or was killed by a snake..
I don’t remember what I began to look for, but I caught sight of a pair of legs standing in the tundra biome. I hovered over the woman and it said she was my sister, Newt. I never brought her to the camp, not sure how she got there. She was fully clothed, with pants, a hat, backpack, and sealskin coat. I tried to speak to her, to get her to follow me to the carrot farm, but there was no answer. I ran back to get carrots to show her, but she had turned gray by the time I reached her again.
I ran to get my nephew, Jack and show him this odd sight, but when we arrived, he couldn’t see her. He said nothing was there, and yet I saw her clear as day. He wasn’t sure what to say and I’m sure he was a little disturbed. I began to believe that I was hallucinating. I was going insane.
After all the work my ancestors had put into this village, there was nothing left to show for it. Depression set in as I realized my time on this earth was useless. Worthless. I left my clothing by the camp and died on the farm after saying goodbye to my nephew. I’m sure he starved himself soon after.
To my Dick family, I tried my best to keep the name alive, but it just wasn’t good enough. I’m sorry, elders.
(But in all seriousness tho, is that a bug anyone else has encountered before? I was sure that Newt had died and never made it to the camp, yet she was there. But my nephew couldn’t see her. Am I really going crazy??)
Goldtown in 2HOL. Father, I don’t remember your name, but I remember that you named me Elly. I was born into an advanced village and we were the only people there at the time. There wasn’t much to do since everything was already made so I went looking for some gold to make a crown. I had never forged anything before so I asked for your help. You told me how to extract from the gold veins and you showed me how to smelt it into a crown. You made me a carrot crown and called me the princess.
I ran off in the other direction and found another gold vein! I brought it back and this time, I smelted it myself with the skills you taught me. I made a carrot crown and gave it to you. I wanted to then club a seal and make a coat but along the way.... I found yet another gold vein! I brought it back and I made a leaf crown.
I was on such a gold high at that point, I wanted to make so many crowns. You told me you found another gold vein to the south and I was blinded by greed. I took the horse and ran south, searching for that vein. Unfortunately, I was killed by a rattlesnake with the carrot crown still on my head before I could find it. There were still two crowns at camp, so it didn’t feel as bad.
I just wanted to say thank you, dad. I felt a bit annoying, asking you how to make all those things, but you took me under your wing and taught me how to make it myself. I’ll never forget how to make a crown and I’ll never forget you. You were one of the best parents I’ve had in game.
-Elly
No, of course I don’t approve of people going around killing the few who are actually productive and working to make the civilization thrive, but I found it’s best to not let them see that it bothers you. I always laugh when people kill me. I’ve killed a bunch of people at this point but for good reason. Things like people wasting pies by feeding everyone including babies, picking all the carrots, serial killers, etc.
I think I was just too trusting in that game because I spent previous lives on high alert the whole time I played and it was just exhausting and boring. I wish there was a better system like it takes a couple of arrows to fully kill someone or you could hover over a fresh murder grave to see who killed who, but for now, we don’t have those options.
I’m gonna keep playing obviously because it’s still fun and I do get a kick out of hunting griefers. It’s just unfortunate when the wrong people are killed because of misunderstandings which is why I made this post.
I should have expected it because I’ve been murderered countless times for no reason but I guess I was too trusting in that life. I was born a boy this time. As soon as I was old enough to grab, I took a carrot and ran off to snare a bunch of rabbits. I made myself a backpack and pants and then set to work making packs and clothes for the rest of my growing family. I probably made three packs and some pants for them before realizing we were running low on food.
I ran off with my pack to gather some food and bring it back to last us until the carrot harvest was ready. On my way, I found a murder grave close to camp. I was instantly on high alert and looked for stashed weapons so I could keep it in my pack and out of the murderer’s hands if he chose to strike again. I ran back to camp and alerted everyone of a murder to the east. One man said he would get his bow and try to find the killer and I thought “how nice of him”. !!!!
He kept standing by the murder grave and going “hmmmmm blood stains” and I made the mistake of standing next to him with his loaded bow. Just after I asked him “who do you think did it?”, he shot me and said “you”. It obviously wasn’t me, but I guess I can’t expect other people to know that. Maybe he was the killer or maybe he really thought I did it because I was the first to alert everyone. My pack was empty. I contributed a lot to the village. I told him it wasn’t me as I died; maybe if he wasn’t the killer, he believed me and felt remorse for murdering an innocent man. And then maybe he was able to find the real killer and protect the village.
But my gut instincts lead me to believe I was heckin bamboozled. Well played...
To my brother, Noble, and my cousin (?) Minela. You knew me as Takahiro but I lived two short previous lives in that same village. Each time my life was cut short by the vicious bears surrounding our camp. I was reborn a third time and that’s when I was able to connect with you. Minela, you said you were killed by the bears and reborn twice as well. I found that really funny. Our town was quickly becoming overpopulated when the bear invasion began and almost quickly wiped out our whole civilization. Luckily the smartest of us knew the standing on items loophole and we were able to survive. My mother wasn’t so lucky. Eventually someone was able to kill the bear, and then another one came to camp, but I think grandma lead it away. There were still two more bears that almost killed me again but I was able to get away just in time.
There was this little curly blonde girl that was eating all of our pies and feeding them to the babies. She even fed one to me when my hunger bar was almost full. So I stabbed her instantly. Felt good. Noble and I were able to make more pies pretty quickly and we were back on track again so no harm done. I made one last batch of pies before old age set in. I gave Minela my backpack and knife just a minute before she turned elderly too lol.
It was really fun playing with you guys. After I finally died of old age, I realized that we should have named our town. What better name than Beartown?
North village of Belltown. I was Lisa. Mom, you died leading the bear away from us and me and my brother were able to quickly make a bow and arrows and shoot the bastard dead. We skinned him and brought it back to camp and you were reborn as my niece. I was on a search for milkweed so I could make you a hat out of the bear but I wasn’t able to find any. I did find a gold vein and I was so excited to run back and tell you that I was a bit careless of my surroundings. I was running too fast, didn’t look ahead of me and that’s when I was bitten by a fucking rattlesnake. I’m sorry I left you alone in the village but the gold is far north. I would have made you a crown if I had lived longer. You’ll always be my queen anyway.
It was probably our descendants. TrustyWay’s post said he made the first crown himself and when I was there, that was the only crown. Someone must have made another or it was a different Chinatown lol. Population was crazy and the farm did not look well when I died
When I play as Eve, I always use the surname “River”. I tend to cycle through the same first names in hopes that someone will recognize me from other lives. For girls, I usually name them Autumn, Summer, Olive, June, Moon, Luna, or Lily. For boys, I always name my first born Bear. Sometimes I’ll name them Wolf, Fox, Felix, Oliver, or Noah.
My king!! I just saw your post after making this one. I love you too <3 it was a really fun run. I hope we meet again in another life
Hopefully our children will survive the next time lol
I was Alice, a simple peasant woman born to a mother with no clothes. The town was the hugest I’d ever seen, and you tried your best to convince mothers to abort their children. I was able to scavenge some clothing from the corpses of my fallen ancestors before setting to work on the farm at your heed. You were a blonde, curly young man, and I was a dark skinned woman with long raven hair. You asked if I would like to be your queen and of course, how could I refuse my king? You were a bit of a tyrant, but I had my eye set on the crown. You had redeeming qualities too, though. I told you that I had been in love with you ever since that woman called you the queen and you told her you were a man. I asked you to prove it and you quickly removed your loin cloth to show me your nethers. Needless to say, I was hooked from then on. You dubbed it Chinatown because of how many people we had and how fast it kept growing.
We soon had children after our marriage. We consummated our love and immediately after, our son, Prince popped from my body. I was able to find him some clothing from random corpses but when I brought him back to you, you said that he looked too poor. There was a man with a wolf hat behind us and you ordered him to remove it and give it to our son. He complied and our son was fitted with the hat and a nice mouflon hide. I believe we had a princess that I named either Constance or June (we might have had two girls) and I think we had another son, named either Bear or Noah. There was also an instance where I removed my sealskin jacket to show you my tiddies and the woman behind me stole it, but you ordered her to return it to me and she complied. Power is sexy. I was very grateful.
There was an assasination attempt on you and you ran around the village to avoid the man with the bow and arrow while another man with a bow guarded you with his life. You were so impressed that you tried to give him your crown but he wouldn’t take it from you.
You died of old age not long before a carrot famine hit the village. I had made numerous trips to the desert to bring back as much cactus fruit as I could but there simply wasn’t enough to fill every mouth. I saw my poor daughter get eaten by a bear right in camp while trying to run for her life. I had planned to pass the crown on to her. Next in line was Prince, but I was unable to find him anywhere. When you died, I immediately scavenged your corpse to grab the crown before the people around me were able to get to it. I placed it on my head and proudly walked around the village, just a bit melancholy. I told everyone you had died and your guard ran behind me yelling “Long live the Queen!” It did not last as long as I would have liked. The famine was approaching and I knew I had to die to save food for the rest of my kin. I was getting old, hair full of gray, and I wasn’t able to make cactus fruit trips anymore. I was now a burden on our society.
I desperately ran around the camp looking for one of our children to pass the crown to before I succumbed to starvation, but I presume that all of our children had died. I found the youngest living relative of mine by the fire, a cute little brown baby girl that was my cousin to some degree. I placed the crown on her head, gave her all of my clothes, wished her good luck and told her to be a good queen. She was very grateful and thanked me many times. I’m not sure if she had a name, but I hope she was a good queen. I then promptly ran to the graveyard to die when I came face to face with another old woman waiting there. I told her that I came here to die. She said “same lol”. And that was the end of Queen Alice. It was a beautiful life.
