You know, one thing that I've seen work absolute wonders with dog-human food aggression, is practicing petting your dog while it eats. Its better to start as puppies, but can work on adult dogs too if you know what you're doing [and they're not to the point of snapping at you].
Yes, thats a very good way of building trust. Sadly, most of my dogs are "saved" from worse fate and got to me when they were already grown up.
Ofc there are exceptions like one being saved from seller on flea market during snowy winter (it was the last pupp, would probably be dumped into a river) or two puppies saved right from the hands of person who was about to drown them...
But, one of my current dogs got to me at the age of around 10 (human) years. Kept in dog shelter for years. Adopted twice but returned back to shelter (for bad behaviour and agression towards owners). Was about to be put down due to problems with its back legs - could barely stand. Its hard to teach old dog "new tricks", but hes smart - he learned a lot during first week and just in few months hes sleeping with me in bed. Loves our cat (and cat loves him back, him the most I think). Now he runs, jumps and I can hardly catch him - thanks to proper medications. My dogs know the "pill hour" perfectly and even if it so happens we forget to give them meds, they will gather around the table where pills are to get their dayli dose. They understand the routine. (my other dog has epilepsy so he needs pills every day just to avoid attacks...)
So ... like an experience player ?
If you die as a toddler to one of those things when being able to feed yourself, it's not your mothers fault ^^
Boars or snakes will always appear when you least expect it and you will die to those at least once in your lives. Shit happens.
I think hes only interested in using it to decursify himself - you only loose points with time online (offline does not count).
If you think about it, all you need is to stay alive OR respawn right after. No need to feed yourself nor avoid animals. There is "stres test" client in Jasons source code that can be easily modified to do just that.
Or if you're in real need I can sell you one of first releases of Santan bot from few months ago that will do just that. 20$ that is.
P.S. Its linux only atm and works from terminal without GUI.
Seeing how people want quick fix for dogs, something "written in a hurry on the back of paper towel". How about that.
Dogs have limited lifetime. Lets say 30 minutes (still longer than IRL dog lifespan, but not to short to be bothersome and not worth time investment)
Each dog can only be bred after 10 minutes when its "mature" enough.
Each dog can only be bred once or twice during its lifetime (to avoid "spamming" puppies from single bitch)
Fixes:
Immortal dogs blocking towns forever. Just give it some time and it will regulate itself.
To fast increase in dog numbers. You will need to wait for puppies to grow up before breeding even more. Thus, you can easier spot griefer creating to many dogs and stop him or protect mutton if you notice to many dogs. Special point in Jasons eyes - DRAMA controlled by players.
Technically:
Does not need new mechanics like dog owners or other solutions.
Reuses currently available concepts.
Young Dog + time (10-15 min) = Fertile Dog (with the same sprite even, maybe only visual clue with its tail position or something?)
Ferile Dog (uses: 2)?
Fertile Dog + tilme = Dead Dog
Fertile Dog (uses > 0) + Mutton = Fertile Dog (uses-1) + Puppies
Fertile Dog with 0 uses should not be a problem.
This solution does not require much work on Jasons part but gives relief to players during Dogocalypse untill Jason can develope the idea od dogs further.
Have fun in donkey town with all the other inmates, hope it's not TOOOO hot.
Just wait untill we organize and start cursing random people, just to gift them with free tour to the Donkey Town
We'll see who will laugh last.
Theoretically, we could put up to 50% of pupulation in Donkey Town. Using "curse bots" we would make that way higher because they would regenerate curse points 24/7 while you only loose curse points while online.
Anyone up to help Santan out? All I need is 8 accounts online 24/7, checking lineage server every 2 hours to find last person that died and curse him.
Lets unite and get away from all the noobs and newbies. Lets all get cursed together and lets make Donkey Town great again!
Actually... Its more like you live in Donkey Town when you're NOT cursed while after you get cursed you finally get to experience the real game along with other pros.
Updated to the lastest client featuring Dogocalypse.
Why lewd lady?
Because lewd sells. Now she can count on few male backers ![]()

My mid-sized, overall nice doggo turned into a very different dog when she got her first real bone. She always respected us but with the bone, she started to growl at us, eyes wild looking. Ofc we took the bone away and made sure she would never do that, but dear god if that was a stronger dog such as pitbull, she may have tried something else in that "mode" of hers.
If your dog turns "into very different dog" just because you gave her bone - you have zero respect from her. You're treated as servant and opressor, not pack leader or even comrade.
I always spoiled my dogs to the point where some of them even got fatter than they should. Yet, they were always reprimended for what they do and separated (or just ignored) from the "pack" as punishment (dogs hate isolation). To the point where I could always take my Rottweilers food, even if it was bone or bloody meat. They would growl, but yeld without me doing anything. I could do that with hand or my own head - no difference. With my current dogs I can just look at them with THAT look and they understand they did something wrong and drop on their backs showing bellies in gesture showing they're sorry.
My dogs were also always raised with plushies to chew on, drag around and rip apart. This way they learn sense of property and owning something. Whenever I pass by any second-hand shop with colothing I try to find some old toys full of scent for them to play with. They love it. They can recognize which one of them got which toy and they keep them in their own places. They don't steal toys from each other (unless it already very old toy in basket with "commons"). They also don't see problems with keeping toys next to food or each other. You know whats the part I love in them the most? I can take one of toys that are not menat for them (or even buy brand new one) and show them. They will get excited but as soon as I tell them in definitive voice "Do not touch, its not yours." - they will never touch that one again. Even if I leave it in the middle of the room for few days - they will literally turn their heads other way when around trying to not even look at that one.

(there are even old stocking and socks in between those "toys" - and yet they never took one of mine when not given explicitly to them)
Dogs as well as cat eat in the same place, sometimes at the same time. Toys lie around - not a problem for any of them.
Your post doesn't really imply that but at least you're not just talking out of your ass because you have pit bulls. Kinda seems like you just saw me 'complaining' and didn't read through the post and just assumed I was a crybaby. But it's fine.
I just can't be boethered to use to many words to express my opinion on topic. But then I get attacked for my opinion and I need to explain I'm right like I would to a child. Sad.
New mission - get a group of people to curse random people, but as organized effort so they will get sent to Donkey Town.
Curses time stack, regaining curing points does not.
You just don't want to accept the facts I guess, like most people who think Pit Bulls are dangerous, you see what you want to see. Maybe if you actually looked into it you'd see how wrong you are, but Nah, that's just too much effort. Maybe go meet a pit bull in real life? And don't try to make it attack you. I'd prefer if you stay out of this if you're not gonna try to make an argument that doesn't just say that we're 'crybabies'. And maybe include some facts?
I raised two Pit Bulls. I raised Rottweiler. I had 6 german shepherds. There were a lot of "mixed breed" dogs along the way. At the moment I have 4 dogs and raise them with a cat in such a way they drink water from the same bowl and go outside for a walk as a pack - dogs along with a cat.
No, I don't think all Pit Bulls are dangerous. All my dogs, including Pit Bulls, were sweethearts and raised correctly. Still - I believe if missmanaged even slightly, Pit Bulls (along with Rottweilers and such) would be more likely to become aggresive.
While small dogs seem to be more aggresive (because they're loud and obnoxious most of the time) its rather because they need to fight their way among all those "giants" around them. Just look at short men - they're the most salty and obnoxious along all men. It's true for others species as well. Thats a defensive mechanism.
While all dogs can be paceful as well as dangerous and it depends on how they were raised, I admit and accept the fact that some breeds were engineered to have more muscle and hormons responsible for aggression.
I don't like your vision. Change it!
I don't like the facts. Changed it!
Another thread of crybabies who don't like what Jasons likes. Perfect.
Also... why are there so many people in denial of reality nowadays?
Oh, and wait... pit bulls actually ARE born killing machines thanks to humans who engineered them that way and are more likely to be agresive/fearless because that was a welcome trait during breeding. Its hard coded into the breed.
Honestly do not recommend at all.
Golden.
Maybe if we get tech advanced enough for personal med kits that do not require asistance of second person to apply medicaments. I can't see that implemented soon though.
Also... Insta death tree sneks.
I would participate, because it sounds nice... If I cared enough about mobile version to buy a copy of second game that is.
The moderators would have to start enforcing posts being on-topic and be able to move threads to appropriate categories if misplaced.
Moderators already have more than enough options to manage forums, just no forum structure to work on.
Most topics would not need moderation - people who want their stuff to be found would still post in the correct category, trust me. And even moving topic somewhere by moderator - thats just single button.
And even in the worse case scenario - it does not work, people still use only one board to post everywhing and additional ones are not used... We get more flexibility while loosing nothing, right?
Or eventually, the Cains build a bell tower and ring it...
Except you give to much credit to players. In the other way around. Given oportunity, players will minmax and grind fun out of the game. I can already see myself and few others getting cursed on purpose and being reborn as Cain while communicating through VC just to kill all other Cains and build belltowers there as organized effort of "Cains on Demand". Just to see where its located from others.
Progress or Griefing - depending if I'm playing with friends while locked to higher number server or randos from shithole S1
How do these people live in real life? What are they all soft 8 year olds where hair pulling is their biggest crime?
Nah, they're just SJW that got their safespaces after they begged and yelled for them. Aka people unfit to live in human society.
I think you forgot few older religions but I can't blame infidel for not knowing his shit. Milkweedists, Berryslamists, Holly Church of the Carrot or whatever they call themselves, Santanists... The Old Gods are still alive in hearts of many.
Also - most people don't come here just to spam around but to find information or leave information. Information handling was always easier withing more organized systems.
