palisade thanks for posting this images, i also want to see the game succeed, i spent 20$ for this.

Jason is saying he poured his life into this game the last week and how much he is doing for us.
But he is not working on charity organization and this game is not free to play.
I am sure he gained ALOT of money by doing this game.
The people who spent this money were expecting something from it.
If this game would be free to play he would receive much less hate.
Its very difficult for me to feel sorry for his rich ass smile

Lol rich ass? you get that hes been working for 3 years on the game right, and with the amount of hours he puts in its not like hes making 1000 dollars for every hour of work.

I have to agree with Potjeh that this attitude is certainly not gonna, all you do is a stress to the equation. Why do you think jason has pretty much ignored the topic for a while now?

#78 Re: Main Forum » Game is dying » 2018-04-26 11:20:00

Not all your post got deleted buddy, just the ones you spammed over and over. I am gonna ask you to stop shit posting one more time. Keep your game dying related stuff to this topic please.

Although you do have the freedom to express your thoughts please keep them to 1 forum thread.

#81 Re: News » The Nudity Question » 2018-04-21 20:11:28

I don't see how the way it is right now could offend anyone. Maybe a way in the settings to disable it easier could be included.

I must say that im not a big fan off the hairy nipples in the first picture since that is a bit much. but the way its in the game now is  fine, I mean come on we all have one or the other anyway. It shouldnt be a taboo to look at something that vaguely looks like a penis/vagina and tits.

#83 Re: Main Forum » Is it worth following the bell tower "home markers" » 2018-04-20 14:15:05

Ringing a bell tower calls in all the people who dont have their own well off town they arent willing to abandon.

These people will arrive in the promised land and then most likely spend the rest of their days being a grasshopper and demolishing stuff. Maybe on purpose but most likely through ignorance.

#84 Re: Main Forum » are the home markers broken ? » 2018-04-20 14:11:14

Lol trolled by a bell tower! You wanna hear something even funnier. It changes to the last bell tower rang. so even if you walked 2000 tiles and you are almost at the place that rang it. someone on the opposite end of the world can ring it and it will start pointing there.

#85 Re: Main Forum » Deciding who has a baby » 2018-04-19 12:33:22

Going off temp seems like a a good idea. I also think food like mutton and pies should give you a fertility boost because they are signs of a mom that is most likely near a civilized area!

#86 Re: Main Forum » Mushroom Trolls » 2018-04-18 04:21:17

Its still super funny though!

#87 Re: Main Forum » The knives » 2018-04-16 19:24:36

Until a griefer shows up with a bow and nobody has a knife to protect the other people. I do think one of the better solutions to murder is to just arm everyone at this point. (Murica)

#88 Re: Main Forum » Jason's Murder Problem Thread » 2018-04-15 23:52:04

I agree with the people saying that murder isn't the issue at this point. Murder is actually fine, if you are running a good town someone might get away with murdering 1/maybe 2 people before he gets caught. But as people said the game is designed in a way that doing the wrong things will kill your area very quickly and if a griefer knows what those things are he can destroy an entire town that has been going for generation in about 30 minutes.

#89 Re: Main Forum » Spotting grieffers - why is so hard? Graphical depiction » 2018-04-13 12:05:09

The map loading argument isnt an issue as Jason has said in the past that the game actually loads a bigger area than your FOV. This is to keep having to reload the camp for example if you are running around.

But yeah I do like the Idea of being able to zoom out a little bit more the older you get.

Awesome to see some of our failed puns (Silje Lee. which was meant to be Sil-lee) and Weird names (Don't remember who named me Rarity >:( ), But when it boils down to just a list of the core of the family that lived on its actually surprising-Lee! (ha got a Lee pun in!) short!

Joining was about as easy as not being a known Griefer, and chatting with us for a bit before established members of the tribe vouched for your involvement with their name on the line.

You denied lots of people simply because you didn't know them. Nobody would vouch for anyone unless they specifically played with them before so in a sense, it was impossible to join outside your pre-established group.

If I remember correctly Antichthon and Aleria joined. They both werent vouched for/let in from the start but had a chat with us and were let in after a while. Later Weasel_Bread was also let in. We didn't know him and he didn't even have a mic. When you joined stuff was hectic and we were trying to figure out what to do with you. When you throw 9 random people in a voice chat stuff takes a while to get worked out and you left before we could do that. You were in and out in 3-4 min. As people have said before the vetting thing is the only thing that has kept people from griefing us, Because the second "random" person that we let in killed 2 people. and we had people intentionally spawning on us and killing themselves to try and give us a bad mother status.

Yeah, It was one hell of a ride! I know I've said it before but Aleria you you earned my respect by just waiting for hours until someone vouched!

Telefiesta you are one crazy dude! staying up from gen 0 all the way to gen 100!

And to Chard: Ha its my title now!!!

I am not too upset about it, but it is definitely cheating to use voice chat. I am sure Jason doesn't care too much, because it is basically a harmless form of cheating. They are basically only cheating themselves by making the game way easier than it is meant to be. Which is probably why they got bored fairly quickly.

Wait. did you say that is why we got bored fairly quickly? You do realise setting this record did take more than 40 hours in a row right?

I mean if you wanna keep going after going for that long with 5-6 hour sleep break in between and push ot further to 200 be my guest big_smile

Full of shit.
This is because it IS insincere either that or you are too dumb to realize the above.

I for one think assuming stupidity over ill intent is just a mark of moral cowardice.

Good talk dude, thanks for the adition.

#95 Re: Main Forum » Download » 2018-04-03 04:58:14

Did you try running the extractor as administrator?

#96 Re: Main Forum » Download » 2018-04-03 03:21:21

Hey buddy, sorry for the late response. but this should fix your issue. If it does not then joining our discord is a good option since there are allot of active people there.

the combined solution is: move extractor to program files, extract it there, open folder properties, mark it as READ-ONLY then apply. Now UNMARK the read-only and apply AGAIN.

Well isn't this game about working together in a group and build up a civilizations?
Are you the mom that let me die in the forest all alone?

About the coordinates - yes, the idea is to start somewhere build something up and see how long you and your family can survive. Maybe discover a abandoned place. A great story will happen in any case.

Having coordinates and coming back to the same place will break the story aspect in some points.
I like to have coordinates, so I can take a look at old places easier and see how they developed.
Still you don't need to abuse them and run back to one place and play as one closed group against all others. Probably that wouldn't even work. Because it will end in a big slaughter party. When the baby says it is Jeff, but Jeff is offline and then "Jeff" takes revenge on the village.

It's not about the working together part, my concern is that people can find each other each and everytime and they are already using it to "Raid" other villages. If that doesn't worry you in the slightest I don't know what will. Goodluck trying to keep your civs going if you have 2-3 people working together dedicated to destroying it now.

Yeah I wouldn't hide a secret farm. There is a case to be made to hide a near by reserve though. That way if some kills all the wheat for example, when they go to look for more they will find the plants near by.

Yeah Hiding a wheat reserve is always a good idea. basket with carrots seeds is also a good addition.
