I ONLY play the game with 2x zoom.
After updates I wait until the ZoomMod is updated to play... Please keep making it!
Better yet, Jason, Please add zoom options to the settings menu!
Default view is like being short-sighted, 2x is the closest to 20/20 normal visual distance.
If you don't want to make it official could you at least make it easy to change the setting in the game files?

That depends... are you of the Leaf Dynasty, the Carrot Kingdom, or the Wolf Empire? Each has their own crown.

wool hat + shears = wool diaper (imagine you turned it inside out and cut holes for the legs)
wool diaper + baby = diapered baby
diapered baby + aging to when they can pick stuff up = kid + soiled diaper
soiled diaper + wet compost pile = composting compost pile + dirty diaper
dirty diaper + simmering water = wool diaper
LOL, wool diapers catch one poop. I can imagine the Composter yelling at all moms to "DIAPER THE BABIES!!!" or get stabbed for wasting poops...

Separating the player bases is a bad idea. The tech tree simply isn't big enough yet and the dying off and regrowth of towns is what is giving the game purpose at the moment. The game already has a server selector in the settings menu, and combined with the reflector you can already self-segregate to your hearts content.

^ This is a very real concern. The game already has a steep learning curve, making things harder shouldn't be the focus for now.
Later after there is more breadth of choice to the tech tree, absolutely come back and tweak it for ultrarealism.

Okay, what are the elusive Useful Updates that this game needs?
Simple machines.
A screw - for an auger, or drill so we can make wells away from ponds, and deeper mining so we aren't beholden to on the surface iron veins. Or you know, screws.
Bridges - roads should go over and under around and through.
Ocean biome - we can't walk on water, but we could build boats to float across it.
Rapid transit - ya that's super high tech, but it gives us something to build towards. Flight maybe?
Dirigibles take you from one airport to another in a distant land. Make those bell towers air traffic control towers!
What else?
