Jason didn't add Grapes just for you to Wine about it.
Ahaha Clever!
Bowls get cluttered around town so easily.. No matter how many bowls you seem to make, it's never enough and towns look messy and cluttered with bowls of seeds everywhere..
Since we have glass bottles for storage, I think it would be great to have glass Jars for seed storage. It would help with the cutter and the constant need to make more bowls.
Example:
I know many people would rather seed storage to be something other than glass, but using glass will also add more difficulty to the game. Which is something that's needed to prevent towns advancing too quickly.
You have to take into consideration that 60 minutes goes by quick when there is so much that needs to be done to ensure the town continues on. Even less time to focus on work if you are a female and have to stop to feed the continuous babies that pop out. I have noticed there are more Role-players than there are hard workers. Towns fail easily, there is a lot of work to be done when over half the town is standing around eating, using up resources and not contributing to replace what they use up in their lifetime..
If more people contributed the workers wouldn't get so frustrated if they stop for a minute to chat..
I'm a bit perplexed how someone bitches about this game as much as you do, yet you still play and invest a lot of time here on the forums..
Your bitching and long ass posts reminds me of Morti right before he had a forum meltdown. As Destiny suggested, you may need to step back from the game for a bit.
Clever name for the update
Bottle it "up"date.
Good addition! Storage is always welcomed with open arms!
Percocets, they work great for not giving a "hoot"
I think the Kitchen should have a door leading to the sheep pen for easy access to Mutton, and another door leading to a fenced off area with a small "Kitchen/Sheep farm" with some berries, carrots, wheat and a stew farm. Easy to make pies and feed the sheep. Also you can make stew right there as well when not working on pies.
Or something like this with a food storage area to keep people from going in the kitchen to get food and getting in the way of the cooks.. Also the farm is accessible from the sheep pen for easy access to feed the sheep, instead of having to run through the kitchen.
Extra space from above can fit a Cow pen and pig pen.
We are not in the rift anymore, space is not an issue. The world is endless, plenty of land to play on.
Morti kind of went insane on here at the end of his posting phase.. Not sure what was going on with him at that time, but whatever it was, I hope he is doing better now.
You divorced Tom and hooked up with his Nephew lol
Killed for protecting your family and their bones, only to get murdered by your sister's child, your niece!
Can't even trust your own family anymore man!
Edit to add: Ah Nevermind!! You are the one who killed a family member! The girl you killed was your sister's daughter, and the older sister to the girl who killed you! You killed your own niece!
Good job Karltown, I enjoyed reading your story!
Instantly reminded me of the game Oregon Trail! I loved that game when I was a kid in school! (Really showing my age with this one haha)
Wagons would be lovely, would be much easier for your family to move if they decide to!
I haven't played through the New member swarm, but maybe have a few males hold a teaching "class" That way many new players learn at once and it takes some of the burden off of the mothers.. At least teach them very simple things like, berries, farming, compost and stew. Maybe another male can hold a class for clothes making. After a few classes, that should help some of the new members know how help out in those areas.. The more that learn the easier it will become eventually.
I hate to say this, but non new members should be priority on making sure they get past the baby stage.. Not saying ignore new members, just saying take extra care in keeping non newbies alive. They can help keep things running.
LifeLetters, I really like the look and design of your pen! Good job
I agree wb steve is very entertaining but comparing him to twisted is silly to me. They are so different. When i first started playing watching twisted helped me learn so much. I could learn a lot without the risk of being slow or a liability in game. He's a great educator and presents a lot of information in his videos. Hes also highlights the changes and progress of the development of this game better than anyone imo.
Agreed! I like Twisted, I also learned quite a bit from him when I first started.. I don't play much at all at this moment, but I do watch his videos to see how the recent updates are.. He also seems like a very nice guy, so I'm not sure why he's getting that kind of hate..
Let him do him, don't watch if you don't want to, but don't be rude about it.
Very excited for this update!! I am loving everything I read!
I find it funny that some people are dead set on believing the rift is going to stay. To me, it was always clear that Jason's intention was experimenting, not torture, and that the rift would not be a permanent solution.
How very smart of you!
The rift is likely a temporary thing.
That just put a smile on my face!! I'm not a fan of the rift! I love the game, just not the rift, so that gives me hope that I can eventually go back to playing the game I loved! Awesomeness!
Questions included:
Do you still play regularly? How often?
If so, what keeps you interested in playing? If not, what caused you to stop?
What are your favorite aspects of the game right now? What are your least favorite?
What do you think could improve the current gameplay?
1: Maybe once a month or so.. I went from a few games every other night to rarely playing at all.
2:The rift. Made each life pretty much the same.. Took out the exploring aspect which I loved.. I love tracking down abandoned or live villages.. In the rift, you really cant do that because its all right there.. I also miss the randomness of being born into eve villages.
3: Exploring and randomly being born into eve villages, it helps take away the "every life is the same feeling" That is not there anymore with the rift. I'm an explorer, I loved tracking other towns down (abandoned or active) just by the surroundings. It was exciting to travel seeing no signs of other life and then all of a sudden a picked berry bush, or a pulled branch.. Figuring out which way to go from there was exciting. Eventually finding more and more signs of life until you run into the village you've been hunting, that was very satisfying! I became a master tracker when it came to finding other villages. I'm also really missing the diversity in lives, on the waiting to get born screen, not knowing if you will be born into an eve village, a mid way village, or a huge town.. Some you recognize, some you know you helped build from the ground up. Some that has been there for ages, and know exactly what village people on the forum are speaking about when they mention the town name.. I miss that.. Now it's just a box, everyone is stuck in.. No excitement, no exploring, rare chance of eve villages.. It's just not fun, it's all the same.. The rift took away everything I loved most about the game..
4: The rift
5: Take away the rift or make it much much bigger.. A way to escape eventually, something..Now everything is for nothing. There is no history with towns, everything gets wiped out very quickly.. What's the point in trying to make a village look amazing when it's just going to be wiped out within a few days.. The rift makes everything monotonous, and gives no sense of pride in your work, nor history behind it.. It's all for nothing.
Maybe when towns get more advanced, we can make a habit of making a small training/practice station in the corner of the village.. Set up basic Smith area and cooking area. That way new players have a place to practice and learn without getting the main Smith and bakers frustrated and sidetracked from what they need to do.. Mothers can take their children over there to help teach them how to bake and smith.. It gives more substance to being a mother as well.
In your last life, your sister Cutler was my Great great Grandmother

I know nothing about The royal family, I spent my life out gathering Bananas, mushrooms, cacti fruit, and lost clothes for Yum and warmth for the village. Before I died, there was talk about someone stealing a crown.. So I take it, it was still going at that point.
I just lived a life there, it's still going strong. A few murders here and there but for the most part lots of babies being born and lots of busy adults..
You'll be happy to know that the dresses were dyed red!
My link: You have to scroll over, my mother was a birthing machine lol

We made the key actually. It's probably just a coincidence
Huge coincidence, being the exact same clothes and colors I had on, with a key at that. lol
I know exactly what nearby town you were at, considering I was killed there. lmao
I will be by to visit..
That's my red hat, blue pants, shoes and Backpack with the key I found!!!
Some jackasses (a woman and man) on horses from your nearby town followed me and killed me for no reason!
Idiots..
This shit right here makes me want to log in just to kill every woman in the rift! I hate griefers but that photo irritates me!
