Think of a long garden from Left to Right, that has berries, carrots, corn, beans, pumpkin on the Left side and at the right side a Granary (raw material storage room).
Above granary put the Pen, Right of the granary an open cooking area (stew and hot coal foods in general), bellow granary a kitchen.
If we put a rail along with this long farm we can have an assembly line of berry carrot bowls, stew ingredients, and corn animal feed Straight IN the granary!
To stop these carts in the middle you have to click the first cart of the line to change direction and block the rest.

the best item to scavenge is whatever your towns needs more of and it cant be easily produced.
shirts are usually in need and they are hard to make.
1 stack of buckets and bowls cause they take only 1 space and they are greatly increasing village production.
then backpacks can contain: Iron and tool heads, shoes, bows(rope)
If you find a map USE it, write down what the abandoned camp has and tell them to loot it.
No female is one reason, We had a forced female mechanism but now it is removed, I think the only factors to decide where a bb will be born is Yum and Area ban. ( how long does the area ban last btw, 60 minutes or more? )

PS: after a Map wipe ( happens in some Updates) the lineages could survive but it is unlikely as it is difficult for a lot of naked people to survive not because they become infertile or something. Right? (after a map wipe you dont die , just everything around disappears and reset back to the wilderness , your clothes and food included)

Not realy , Traveling to abandon villages is a good way to gather resources, Most of them have plenty of loot to be taken.

And in the end YOU HAVE TO Travel, no rubber is certain death for your camp.

also here is an idea I have.
Transform resource production from wandering to stable work.
Ohol has a very bad screen for searching and traveling, thus wandering and searching is kind of boring.
Proposition: create hotspots in the map that have a great amount of resources that can be gathered at a very small cost.
-Quarry mine: Flat stones, big rocks, round stones, Limestones
-Claybank
other items that can have a stable production:
Calamite, Malachite, cinnabar,lapis lazuli, alum, gold, Electrum Ore
You can either have a mine for each resource, Or have a mine with all resources that produce them at % percentages, Or a mine that Produces a new Item that with proper processing produce the resource we want.
This will promote Infrastructure, we will have better control over our resources.
If the mines use pickaxe it might wise to baff pickaxe uses. 21 uses are the lowest of all tools.
Infrastructure needs a long term demand to Return on Investment, we just don't have enough stable long term demand that can pay off the cost of investment.

roads cost: productive time/food
roads return productive time/food whenever you use them.
how much does the speed of a horse increase by a road?
how many times do you use a road to "trade" or extract oil?
how much time did you invest to build that road?
I haven't done the math but I have a feeling that the balance is at a loss.
What about a road to the near mine or the near well or the near oil.
These roads get used quite often. They don't cost much and they are useful as a pointers to the point of interest. These roads might worth it, mainly because they guide you there though. Making a small 10 tile road with a way stone at the end might be a better cost-efficient way.
jason says that games looks bad zoomed out. Yes MAX Zoom Out looks bad but What about 1 tile zoom out?
1 tile zoom out I think would help to have a better view on surround area and the image quality doesn't deteriorate
increase of the east to west from 10 tiles to 12 tiles and the north to south from 6 to 8
I use zoom and most of the time I play on this scale 12*8 and it is all I need to be able to work my game through and do staff.
The wheel could be used to adjust the zoom if someones want to.

Being a leader of a Large developed city that needs management and people actually listen me when I talked them, follow orders and help.
Also I like when at the end that much work has been done the other players recognize it and show some love to me for the improvements that we made all together.
bonding is very nice game experience and when you bond with a whole village the feeling is superb

About Onions, If you find them, Yum them or make Salsa with them, Just Don't produce them.
About all foods In general, It is better to focus on Diversity rather than high quantities cause high quantities enable mono diets.
The only foods that are great in mono diets as well are Carnitas and Pork Tacos. with low cost on water and Iron as well.
I still think goose, carnitas, pop corn and eggs are good when not yumming, realistically you hit a wall around 15 yum, and you got to be creative with it

I don't want to get paranoid. Yumming is always the best choice even when eating the least water efficient foods. I'll be eating anything that is yum.
yeap this is the practical approach, even yaming the worst yam foods, you would consume triple the iron and water of best Yam But even this would be close to and still slightly better than an average usual noob diet.
What to get from this?
Prefer to eat from rank 1 to 50 skipping the foods you cant make.
Pumpkin pie is better than stew, thus pumpkin seeds has to be preferred to be planted.
also, green beans are better than stew.
see the pies, Cheap simple pies are better for Yamming.
In the end, though take all these with a grain of salt, Don't overproduce anything, cause a green been bowl not yammed would be for sure worse than a stew and if you dont store the food you made only for yammers then half of it will go to waste.

pein also look at the food Stats, People actually rely less on berries than before!
I mean berries are still the dominant food but the analogy with mutton pies has become lower.
I also saw smaller batches of berries in towns that's nice.

If a solo player without any given power wants a member of the majority dead, it must not only be difficult for him to do it but the mechanics should prevent him from even trying.
