I really wanted to play with the cow but by the time I was able to get the thing in its pen in gen 3 it was much too late to get to fool around with it. The only reason the cow was in the middle pen was because I wanted to show it off to everyone in town, the damn bison bolted right out of the pen and to the south.
Cows/calves can't be roped to drag them around. Once your cow is out of your pen you need to let it just manually follow you to get it back into said pen.
As noted each bison takes two shots to kill and hungry bison calves eat corn kernals. Also so it seems butter knife wounds are incurable atm so cows are the end game weapon of choice.
I feel like cows are close to pig tier when it comes to animals.
I really hope Jason gives the other domestic animals some love to make them worthwhile.
Sheep provide food, clothes, Soil and medicine while cows, pigs and geese are a waste of space.
To make bread, you make regular dough, then let it sit for a minute or two until it puffs out and becomes leavened. Plop it on a plate and cut it with a knife. Then cook it in the oven like you do with pies. Then slice the bread with the knife.
Butter is more complex and I haven’t done it myself yet but I *think* this is how it goes: Shoot a bison with calf (you need two arrows), take the calf with rope, feed it a bowl of corn kernels. Feed a domestic cow a bowl of corn kernels and wait for the calf to walk away. Use a bucket on the cow to get milk. Let the milk sit for a minute and it will separate skim milk and cream. Use a bowl to take out the skim milk. Then use a skewer on a bowl of cream to make a bowl of butter. You can then put one slice of bread on a plate, butter your knife and put it on the bread.
Yeah just got another town with bread. Is it a viable food or should we just use them for pies instead.
When I was making bread I had to keep annoying knife lady by constantly asking her to cut my bread. So I guess the Baker now also needs the knife if they intend to make bread.

This life was mostly just to test out cows, I was lucky enough to get a town with them. The town had alot of murder and a cursed dude etc, I just wanted to learn cows.
I noticed that they follow you so a Pen breach isn't so bad, Also means we can transfer them to different pens easier then sheep. Would the sheep pen setup still stop cows from following you out?. The towns pen was made of actual fences and I had to make an airlock so they wouldn't follow me out.
So I think theres a way to make bread and butter but I haven't seen it. I think they could be expanded Upton just a bit, We should be able to slaughter them for beef and leather for new clothes.
Am I right to assume that getting domestic cows is the same as sheep or is it a different process.
People kept letting the cows out and one kid even used a shovel on my fences.
Sorry I didn't do much besides make stew early on, Was just trying to learn cows. As for the town, in my elderly years some of my fellow seniors said the town was getting better after a lifetime of murderers and morons.
Luckily the stews I made as a kid was more then enough to keep me alive. At least I was only sponging off self made food.

Lived a few lives in a town, Has been doing good for awhile.
First life was Eva Hild, I died early from snake. Built a sheep pen, Somehow we had no sheep but we were Gen 31.
Later on I was born again in the grave family, Extended the pen a bit. Griefers had a fight but all the idiots all died off and it was fine.
In my most recent life, My mother tried to name me "Fuck" but she raised me anyway. Was a bunch of murders, My sister May did a good job at killing murderers. One of them promised to comeback and kill everyone, Goodluck with that buddy. None of my children lives long and I didn't care much for them. I just named them and threw them into the main baby pile.
In my old age some dude got mad that I ate out of his bowl. Honestly I did it for the yum, For reason berries in bowl counts as a different food then berries. So i messed with him for my last years and got called a "griefer". I dunno if he knew I was joking or if he was actually annoyed.

It was early gen and it wasn't so bad but nothing special. Was just another small nameless village which most people would suicide.
But I was the last girl and mums finel kid, She'd told me all other daughters Suicided. I figured I'd stay just to give them a chance and maybe last a few more generations.
My children were meh, Sons where failures and daughters barely got grandkids in. I haven't been this disappointed in my kids and grandkids for awhile. I buried my uncles and mother and made a letter M to go on my grave.
One grandkid in particular was horrid, Bella. Her mother died and I fed her but when turned 3 she did jack. I threw her into the berry farm and told her to work.
She just stood there and ate and ate. Then she told me "kill-me" I went to look for the bow but she starved at 5 anyway. I should have told her "No need, You will that on your own.
Was a few random granddaughters alive, Maybe they might birth someone compotent.

i pulled off so many bow shots people run around me, they think i gonna miss it, but i just wait to see the pattern
sometimes i baiting them putting the bow down and picking up a seed or some small item, even food, then replace it and shoot
im killed by kids when im not prepared, so hard to see a kid transitioning from 11 to 12 and his first taught is to kill you
i been murdered twice lately, and i learn from my mistakes, knife vs bow fight, just juke from side and attack from below or above
killing a killer whose whole purpose is to kill people:
dont rush, nothing else matters to them so nothing else should matter to you, kids, work, etc.try to surprise them and wait for the opportunity
also if you got more arrows, place in correct order in pack, you might not have the chance to swap items in hand
i pulled a risky move, the killed stood on my bow, so i dropped a flat stone, but couldnt dodge the shoot, and i know it sounds like an excuse but lag got me while trying to dodgeanyway, when your whole purpose of life is to kill, is easier than working and finding your hidden bow to dispatch a griefer
experienced murderers wont let you stand close to them, you gonna see them moving out even if you are diagonally to them, so patience is a very important with them
The other day I managed to hit a guy on a horse. It was a dead town, all males.
The one girl and some guy where do busy doing stupid "kinky" roleplay. Basically saying "Hey shove (object) up my ass" and "Let's do a threesome with the baby boy". The women starved.
The girl was also shot some people calling herself "the bringer of death" but I took all her arrows and bow. She then starved and the dude kept trying to show me his "magic trick".
I told him I have my own magic trick and got the bow. He got a horse and started riding around. I camped the main farm with my bow, Either starve him out or catch him eating.
After awhile he stood for a second just in range and I shot him off his horse. Called me an idiot and blamed me for killing the town lol. He was 55 but it was still felt good to hit him.
I've always found bow easier to use when actually dispatching someone. A lot less awkward dancing and a lot more pew pew. Also bow is generally more fatal than a normal knife wound so shooting someone generally gets the job done.
That's a fair point, Knife wounds are healed fairly easy.
The main issue I have with the bow is people stealing your arrows after a kill and potentially shooting you. The combat is either surprised attacks or predicting where people will go, If you miss with the bow you could be fucked. Arrow could be taken or dissappear.
The knife can be hidden with some models hair or certain objects so you can whip it out and quickly stab them.
Plus you gotta stash the bow somewhere so if something happens you have to get it while the knife can just be on your person.

my wheat farm still there they made some roads and a 2 wide room
a bear was south on a small outpost
finally i went out with horse cart got goose and made new fie, then cracked the room, and locked a chest with file knife apron
going back in 60 min or less is great, especially when i been in west town and made a huge grave pen unfixed xD i leave it in good condition so composting is easy, ofc is better as eve
i had my eve mom as my kid recently
she was trying to set up camp but not enough branches in that green biome
i was alst daughter, and seen she made a fire bow, and i made a hatchet, but havent seen her, so i took both and relocated to a nice place up north estshe was so happy i found her a new location
sadly she starved in a swamp
had one more girl, few suicided until i found the spot around 20 y old
i was so surprised when 2 girls and a guy comes with a bow xD

so mom was useful waking up rabbits, i was so sad when i found her bones in swamp, not so far from her original kiln

There is already email verification on forurm registration. Has always been. That doesn't stop spammers, because they sign up with real emails and verify their accounts. They are human.
The code "leaking" to other people interested in the game is not a problem. That's the idea, and that's why there's one shared code, instead of a unique code per user. Even if the word gets out, how does a spammer get the code?
And yes, we do remove spam accounts as soon as we notice them. Always have. The problem is that new spam accounts register every day. How do we stop those? This code stops them.
I could make it change automatically every week. I may do that, but it's extra coding work. So I won't do it unless I have to.
I cannot fathom how a spammer would learn of the code. It would take a lot of work on their part, and make it not worth their time.

but gopal escaped and had 6 kids who all grew old age even if she died at 34then we seen 2 of his grandkids alive, died kinda early but a misterious 'darla' from one found the way back to other girl

I was born mid Drama, My mum was on slowdown. Several people got stabbed, some died some where healed. Another baby standing on me got stabbed and possibly got healed. I think he was trying to end the lineage by killing baby girls.
My mum was too busy to raise me and I nearly starved but some women raised me at the last second but didn't name me. I went to ask mum what happened and she named me and ranted about "old cunts". My mum died shortly after.
An old guy told me to come, at first I was worried he was trying to lure me. But he was legit and gave his stuff, knife included. Turns out just working paid off this time.
Then I talked to Grandma for a bit, she was suprised that her kids had actually reproduced. Had a few runners, 2 decent sons and 1 daughter. Sadly one son got murdered but I avenged his death. Apparently the guy jacked a knife from an old guy thay was passing it down. Luckily that was the end of the major drama. The med supplies probably got drained earlier.
Did a little composting and realized I had grandkids. I hadn't seen my daughter since birth and I was suprised she actually reproduced. Did more odd jobs and got really old, discovered I had great grandkids.

I think it is because of the ban. Most suicide babies are the same person coming back over and over. This causes extra clutter with their bones and is a waste of everyone's time.
On the other hand the murder penalties far outway the benefits of the ban. Unable to act after the murder you can't work and you might starve, and time wasted chasing the baby to kill them. Then you will most likely be murdered by someone else for killing a helpless child.
I still think I'd like to see that disconnected players don't die in game. I'd be better to have them in a coma and then the population can decide what to do with them. Murder penalties could be eliminated for killing someone in a coma. Can you waste resources feeding a female in a coma in the hopes of grandkids?
This would also help when there is a legitimate disconnection with someone's internet that was previously a good worker and people just wonder why they suddenly die.
Well to be fair as long as you eat before hand you should be fine but I quess that's a worse case scenario.
The question is why would a suicide baby want to avoid being murdered. They have basically refused to live in your town, Being killed would save them time since they will no longer get that town.
Assuming I was armed, I could ask the baby the usual "wanna live" and if they say "N" I would put them down and kill them. To decrease my chances of death I'd try to do this in front of a crowd, People that witness the whole thing shouldn't have a problem with it.
One could also use this for uncooperative babies that move too much and jump out. In another life we had this one kid that would literally move nonstop and yell F. Previously we all just let them die, Eventually I stabbed them so they wouldn't comeback.
I've been thinking about all this baby suicide and I might have a solution. In one of my lives recently me and the other girls kept having our babies bail on us the instant they were born. I had a feeling it was the same person each time, They all instantly ran north each time. This one person kept getting born to us rather then other babies, i got him like four times in a row and I saw others complaining about all the suicides too.
Anyway I had the idea to stab him the next time he was born. This would actually help us both by banning him from the town he didn't want and allowing us to get different babies. This worked and we soon had a bunch of girls be born.
It may or may not work, but it some times helps to try to be more proactive. So go around telling everyone, "Don't pick carrots, we need them for compost." "Eat berries at location X instead." Ideally, if you don't have griefers, if everyone in town knows you are using carrots for compost, and they know where the food they are supposed to eat, they will leave them alone. I think that works most of the time. A thing to remember is that some people play with blinders on, so if you don't tell them where the food is that they can eat, they just eat whatever is in front of them.

The truth is there's a lot of people that don't listen and even when they do its too late. Some kids even curse me out when I try to tell them stuff, usually the ones that get grannies full set of gear at birth.
But hey, The people did actually improve in the end and the town lived.

An old lady decided to name me Tommy abd my Brother Tom. It was pretty funny, It's what happens when mums don't name there kids.
I started life my cleaning the sheeppen up a bit, It had a bunch of dead lamb, shit and butchered sheep in it. It would've been alot easier with a cart but I was too young. After that I fed some sheep and made some compost.
At that point Eve Paradise appeared in our town. It was a shock to everyone but we welcomed her to our town and me and Tom gave her a tour. We also made up some pads which saved my ass later.
I noticed a girl trying to load up a bow but she was too young. This is a pretty major red flag for griefers so I showed her how to correctly use a bow.
Then an older dude stabbed me, Mistook me for a murderer. My brother Tom healed me up and we explained the situation, another random lady also backed us up. Tom was asking to test the medical stuff not too long before so it was rather fitting.
I could Tom was a little new but he was trying to help out the town the best he could. He even taught himself how to make buritos, He wanted to make tacos but fuck that.
I did something I rarely do and made him a crown. He was a pretty cool dude plus he saved my life. Sadly he had to leave mid life.
Sadly I don't think any Luck girls survived but thankfully the Eve Paradise had been busy. She now had our own family setup. I saw some of her grandkids doing some farming. I dropped the crown and one of them took it.
Don't worry if the Lucks die out, Towns probably still going. I'll see if I can find Eve Paradise when she dies.

I've never managed to start a long lineage as an Eve, Best I've done was maybe 5 gens. Most of the time I'd be lucky to get a grandkid on an Eve run.

when these situations happen you never know for sure if you killed a good player or a griefer ... but I see the family tree of my family and it has already reached generation 10 ...I hope that with this murder, she has not been able to bother my family
Well a good player wouldn't be eating carrots because they know better. You tried to tell her but she didn't listen, If she was new then hopefully she's learned her lesson.

I'm suprised that nobody killed you, Usually I get myself stabbed or shot whenever I pull something like this. Alot of people get super triggered at murder even if it was a rightful kill.
I guess it's easier in early Gen because it's a small community so the whole town knew she was a griefer. It's a bit sad that people knew but only you actually did something about it.
