Hey HEY!
WHAT  DID I SAY ABOUT NEGATIVITY >:U

#103 Re: Main Forum » Consonant and vowel clusters in the English language » 2019-08-08 11:39:41

Not sure what you mean as I think it's impossible to see numbers at the moment. Ingame it looks like gibberish and if you are six and haven't been exposed to it early on it will ALWAYS look like that when people speak.
You may see LOIRT instead of PEACE
However
If you had been exposed to it as a baby (say someone from another family kept talking to you as a kid that can evolves to
LEACT
Then eventually
PEACE

(Not sure that was clear or not my bad)

Look, I'm not sure about you guys but I'm a bit ...fed up with all the negativity (deserved and undeserved respectively). The forums used to be a place for stories with missed connections being at the top constantly.

So let's liven it up right? What was YOUR favorite life? It can be from any time, just try to not complain please!

Mine was surprisingly not a town but a camp. I was playing and me and my sister were desperately trying to have kids. We had only been alive because of my brother (I think?) Called Dante and others sacrificing themselves for us. We had a row of berries. But it wasn't enough.
Mom was the first to go
Then my sister
Then my brothers
I was still new and couldn't open the darn backpack, which is a shame because I didn't want to leave my family that soon. I wanted to stay till old age

Maybe you guys don't care so much, but it was one of those experiences that just made me keep playing you know? Knowing it was hopeless but still continuing because of your family.

Just my $0.02

Wow you chucked them under the bus lol
Poor chomp

I don't understand the mindset of some. They find the game boring? Fine. Don't play. There's an update you don't like? Fine. Don't go on a killing spree, it just ruins the game for everyone else. At the end of the day, the game wI'll die because of us not because of mechanics

This was the first post I made, people had started to complain where the cars were and doubting the trailer. I told them  (in a pretty cringey way) that I believed that we'd get there.
And I still do!
Also I think I'm relatively the same but I guess I write simpler phrases now ._.

Just turn off your caps lock for a second and take it easy please. Yes it's hard right now but by quitting you aren't helping anything. How can we learn to adapt if people leave before they can learn? Just hang in thwee we can do this.

#109 Re: Main Forum » The End of Long Families » 2019-07-20 21:36:40

Or maybe people will over come it and the game won't go stale after you reach that lever of tech. Now you need to think ahead and plan for when your oil runs out

#110 Re: Main Forum » What if their was no anonymity? » 2019-07-20 21:35:01

I personally find it awkward if I find out someone on the discord is my kid and tells me before I die...hard to be a family when you can tell it's just an adult on the other side of the screen

I hate it when someone dies with full clothing and backpack in middle of kitchen/smith and I have to take the items one by one outside of the building because there's not enough room on the inside anyways. At least give clothes to kids and die out of village.

I don't know why but it really gets to me if a kid is trying to do something i'm doing at the same time, like smith or baker. I understand helping but sometimes they are just in the way and make the process slower. Usually if i take up a job and see someone else that's older doing it ill just move on to something else.

When people give knifes to their son/daughter because they "trust" them. I've given my children knifes before but only when i was super old or about to get off.

If you use a basket the clothes get teleported away, making it much easier to clean up!

This is what happens when you make someone containable
 h
And that's at all ages

#114 Re: Main Forum » Little Moments » 2019-07-12 20:33:58

When you need a baby and when they pop out, those are the best moments :"^)

Griefers are not a separate entity, they are players. When everything is done someone will always do bad things to make themselves have an enjoyable experience, someone will always fill that role.

There is a post just below where we also share stories...
Called missed connections too!

I saw your note! They surrounded it with roses ^^

#121 Re: Main Forum » Disability representation in OHOL » 2019-06-25 14:27:35

I agree with kitalia! I would like to be represented in a game and have fun! But regular players don't always see it that way...
Last life I died while on mushrooms so in my next life I was essentially blind.
I could do what every other toddler could. But I just needed a bit of help.

My mother was nice but other than that.
I recieved so many death threats.
"You're wasting food"
"KYS!"
"She should die"
I heard these things so many times.
I know there are some of you that wouldn't be like this, but my point is that it is quite sickining.
Also let's say you are an eve.
And your first daughter has a limp. She can't walk as fast and you can't really care for her...what do you do?

#122 Re: Main Forum » Disability representation in OHOL » 2019-06-25 06:16:26

It would be cool but (except for a few)Who would want to be disabled? It mainly sucks in real life, but we go through it because we can hardly die.
But in ohol, dying isn't that big a deal
Would you rather spend a token, or deal with some irritating thing for an hour

#123 Re: Main Forum » Naming your kids what you REALLY want » 2019-06-21 05:29:35

I'm glad it's I whitelist, or else whenever I'm a black kid my name wouldn't be Nigel...

I was born as a baby boy named Magnolia Dawn. There was a boy around the same age, unrelated to me, named Lucas! As kids, we had a lovely conversation of "HI" and blushy faces! He wasn't dressed very well, so as soon as I got old enough, I ran an scavenged him up some fancy clothes from the wild.

After he was dressed up and looking spiffy, he asked me to be his husband! I agreed!  I went to scout out another town nearby and when I came back he was gone! sad My heart broke, someone said he went to find his original family, so I took off on a horse looking for him.  I searched until I turned 50, my husband was no where to be found.  I died a lonely old heartbroken man.

To Lucas, if you are here, you were a great husband! Thank you for being so sweet! I was sad that I didn't get to spend my last years with you smile

I was lucas! I was worried about my family since it was just me and my brother. My mom said I had three sisters so I went to look for them and went to go to the bell town but...I didn't make it. A wolf bit me and I was starving so I wanted you to know my last words. As I went to the bell town I saw many abandoned horses and always was worried it was you! As my life left me I picked my last words...

Was a great life, everytime you went on that horse I thought you had died...
If only we could have grown old together!
