Nice! It's always fun to look at the tree and see all your kids and grandkids after you've died. It's so nice to see that a lot of new players are learning fast, especially after the tutorial update. I wish you good luck in your next lives.

So, when the tutorial update came out I was quite excited to try it out so I opened OHOL but when the "downloading update" thing came up it just stopped in the middle and then the game crashed.
I wasn't on a custom server and it was set to 0.
I tried moving the folder to my desktop but that didn't work either and I can't seem to find a solution anywhere (that works).
After that, I went on a vacation for about a week and when I came back the new update was out so I tried playing again. But the same thing happened again.
The only thing to note this time was that the bar stopped when it was 1/4 done and then crashed.
I haven't had any issues with updating before this, please let me know of any solutions you have so that I can play again soon.
I hope I'm not just forgetting something obvious here. 
(I'm on windows btw)

Jason added the ability to be healed after being stabbed but it's not easy to heal yourself. But why would it? Don't you realize the problems it would cause?
Imagen this:
A griefer runs into a town with a backpack full of healing supplies. Stabs someone. Runs back and hides. Heals himself/herself. Runs back. Stabs someone. The cycle repeats.
If you've been stabbed someones bound to wanna help you and there's probably gonna be doctors in big towns now. Just tell them what happened really quick and get fixed! Easy as that.

This seems very complicated and I don't think that's really what the game's about. And are you saying that people should create a whole new language, in that case I don't think that would be possible since it's hard to MAKE a language. And if we're supposed to just speak English it just seems unnecessary. The idea of being able to make sounds could work if they were words like for example: "HELP", "NO" and "YES" but I don't think this is necessary because we can already type things out.

Wow, some of you guys are very selfish, I get that you want to survive and linage bans suck but there's a reason your mother said she didn't want to keep you. You could probably starve a whole town if you weren't careful. And feeding usually takes more than it has to because you don't have time to just stand there waiting for the baby to get hungry and only feeding it then. You have to work so you feed it every time you rush by.

After a stew pot that has been emptied it tips over on the burnt out fire and there is no way to remove it. This is inconvenient both because you can't reuse it and because it can get in the way. This could make it possible for griefers to block things by making stew on fires everywhere. I don't know if this is intentional or just a glitch but either way, it would be good if this was removed by being able to remove the pot. If you wanted it to be a one time use you can make the pot break after it has been removed.

I don't see the point in posting that on a genuine post. And the smiley just makes it look like you're mocking me, "xD" would have made it much more obvious. And since people don't know the story behind it if they weren't there you're making it seem like I was willing to kill everyone. THAT'S what you got from this post? Do you think everyone is a racist? Clearly, he killed her because SHE SHOT SOMEONE AND TRIED TO KILL EVERYONE BY WAKING A BEAR. How do you not make those connections? And you're defending someone who was clearly trouble from the beginning, griefers usually throw insults at everyone to make them mad and then they kill them. A normal player wouldn't just say the N word for no reason.

Just out of curiosity, did you stab the dude that was messing up your smithing? I wanted to tell you not to do it, but I starved before I finished typing.
It was clearly an accident? That's why I apologized in the post... And I and the guy who messed up my smithing became friends, he found more iron for me and I forgave him. If I was just a ruthless murderer I would have killed everyone long before that happened.

So, my name was Ronni and I was living my life in this big village as a smith. I was getting old and needed someone to take over and suddenly this girl was born and she was named Firdaws. She told me she could smith so I wanted her to be the next Smith, but as she said that I noticed that my hunger was at one and I started panicking. I had two pies in my bag but my knife was in the way and there was no other food around so I picked up the knife and tried to put it down, but right as I was putting it down this poor boy named Tim rushed by and got stabbed. I didn't have time to say it was an accident and his last words were "Killer". I'm so sorry I ruined your future in that village Tim, I hope you can forgive me.

Dude nice. I have never made a crown, I always heard gold was super rare. Too bad you didn't get the
snake with your knife, they are actually pretty easy to take out as they don't really lunge at you.

I was living in a village and my name was Blue (my mother tried to name me Blueberry). I was getting old and decided to start smithing since I've never done it before. I made a knife and I was really happy about myself so I thought "What more can I make?". I looked at the wiki and realized I could make a crown, I was getting old but even if I didn't finish it someone else could so I set off to find some gold. I went north with a handcart containing a pickaxe, a basket of carrots and an empty bowl. Eventually, I found a gold vein so I dug it up and put it in the bowl; but as I was walking home I, of course, HAD TO STEP ON A RATTLESNAKE and I died. So please, if any of my kids or relatives are reading this; go north and take back the cart and all my clothes and finish the job that I started!

I was doing some classic griefing. Like several others in this thread I was born to a women who had turned grey as soon as I was born. "You are the last girl" "we need you to survive".
I jumped out of her arms and started running. She chased me desperately begging me not to suicide. I stopped moving for a bit and ran again when she got close. Easiest grief I've ever done.
Griefing isn't funny, why are you bragging about it here? No one likes people like you so just stop. And before you say "It's just casual griefing" or something, let me tell you, griefing is not acceptable at any level and doing it for no reason is even worse. Why are you ruining things that people have worked so hard for just because it's fun? Just because you can? Griefers are so immature and childish thinking that it's fun to ruin things that are very important to people. If you haven't learned how to cooperate and work together with other people yet, you shouldn't be allowed to play games like this.

I think what happened was that she/he is a new player and they got angry so they started griefing.
