So, I know that Jason is working a lot on glitches and stuff like that that is more important than this, but I just wanna suggest something to do in the future. So right now there are 8 different characters. 4 male and 4 female. What I want is a wider range of hair colour, skin colour etc. Maybe even eye colour? And one thing I would really like to be implemented is GENETICS. This would make a huge difference. Imagine that a village has been isolated for a long time and almost everybody has t.ex. blond hair and light skin. Then, an Eve spawns nearby, or they find another village nearby! I think this would be so cool to add so that babies don't just have random skin colours and hair colours, but instead, they'll look like their mothers!
Again, I know he's working really hard right now but this is something I really want to be added, so put it on your to-do list maybe?
The idea of having the right temperature means having more babies seems good. That means women can go out hunting and thinks without having to worry about popping out a baby every second. Also, maybe if there is a man nearby that isn't related to the woman, he could be the father? Perhaps an Eve could spawn with an Adam too? I also think that Adams should spawn near big villages and stuff so there can be more fathers without incest. The idea of having a male nearby is required to have a baby wouldn't work, what if you're alone and the only female? You would have to wait a long time before spawning. Also another idea; I saw this requested somewhere on the forums. Basically, it would be good if there was like a 30-second pregnancy before birth where the woman was visibly pregnant so that you could prepare before the baby was born.
To my first cousin Elina; I have no idea why you kept kidnapping me, it was to no use since I kept running back to my mom. When I died (young) in that village I later respawned there again and you were still there. I was the son of the queen but you still tried to kill me, I asked my mother to kill you and I hope she did. I died young again.
My uncle fed me mushrooms as soon as I was born, but I found it more funny that annoying. Can't really harm anyone in my opinion, but I guess you could starve or get lost?
So, I was born a girl in this small village to a woman with dark skin and black hair (I had white skin and blonde curly hair). They only had a few carrot rows and the food was a bit low. My mother had already decided that she wasn't gonna keep me, but I convinced her that I was good since I knew I could help this village. She agreed and therefore named me "Maybe" (Which automatically became Maybel). So I became apart of the Googling family.
Growing up was pretty good, my mother took good care of me and I had lots of sisters and brothers. I also remember having an aunt and cousins. I tried my best to keep the farm going and getting water every so often. It was going pretty good but every time we had harvested the food ran very low so we had to pluck berries. After a while, I started noticing that people were slowly dying, one after one. First my auntie, then my cousins, then all of my siblings.
Eventually, it was just me and my old mother, at this point I was fully grown and had already had a few babies but I didn't keep any of them because we were already too many. I realized that our only chance of survival was if I got a girl, my mother seemed to know that too. We spent our days chatting with each other, she was a lovely woman, but every time a baby came it was a boy. Boys after boys after boys. My mother was at the end of her life now, and just like that, she was gone. I cried as I slowly realized my faith. "Oh mother, why have you left me?". I thought, maybe there was still a chance? I was still young, but I didn't wanna get my hopes up. I spent time just farming and picking berries to stay alive, just wishing my mother was still here.
And then it happened, a girl! A beautiful little girl with dark skin and black hair like my mother. I named her "Hope", Hope Googling. I quickly dressed her in the spare clothes we had and made sure she didn't run away. She seemed like she wanted to help, but not very cautious about her survival. I kept an eye on her until she became old enough to feed herself. Just then I became old. But then after a while, I had to leave the game, so I called her over and told her. I gave her all my clothes and told her to survive, keep all baby girls you get. I said goodbye as I left.
If any of the Googlings family is reading this, I think our village still lives! I also want to inform you that I was also an uncle earlier in that same village, I was the one who farmed and got water, in case you knew me. And if Hope, my daughter, is reading this; Please tell me if you had any children or if the village is dead!
I'm having a pretty big issue with the newest update (31 March). It's a texture glitch. I'm not sure how many items it affects, but I know it affects seeding- and fully grown carrots (glitch only occurs when one or more carrots are missing). The texture seems to be missing and gets replaced with the texture of a wild sheep. You can still pluck the carrots from the ground, and when no carrots are left the texture goes back to normal. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this glitch, the person I was playing with seemed to be completely oblivious to it? Hopefully, this can be fixed soon.
