a multiplayer game of parenting and civilization building

It might also be caching. I assume reddit caches the results for performance. This means you may not see changes take place immediately.
Still, it is worth asking a mod on there if you are shadow banned.
While not quite the same thing, one little known feature is that if you start as an eve and die of old age you will respawn where you died if you start as an eve again. At least I remember reading this somewhere.
Ryanb ok, but just try to change an upvote or down, he will changes it until all the votes are the same as before. But not for his subject.
Just try this is awfully obvious
PS your link doesn't work for me

I don't understand the rest of your post, who is "he" here?
Uncle Gus (or anyone else making a mod), you may want to also fork Kazetsukai's crafting guide on GitHub. You can change the process script to download your own Git repo and then it will generate a version of the site using that. Since it uses GitHub pages you can deploy your fork without worrying about hosting it.
I check the reddit page pretty often and have submitted several suggestions. I haven't noticed any issues so far.
If you suspect someone has multiple accounts to upvote their suggestions and downvote others, please message the moderators with their username and evidence.
Have you seen this crafting reference? It contains a tech tree for each object, for example here's one for fire.
If other players did everything mentioned here it wouldn't ruin my gameplay experience. As long as there isn't a way to spawn objects out of thin air I'm happy. This isn't a very competitive game with tight controls.
Let others mod the game and cheat how they want to. It is their loss if they miss out on the enjoyment of playing the game how it was meant to be played.
Thank you so much for this. Tech tree is just the best! Gonna share this around..
Btw if it's possible then adding a "open up in a new tab" option would be neat
Glad you like the tech tree and thanks for the suggestion. I've added this issue here on GitHub
Update: This has been implemented, so you can open objects in new tabs now.
What is valuable depends on the situation. That is what I love about this game. Whenever you are born, you need to observe what is around you to determine what to do next. It requires situational awareness and adapting to the needs of the village.
yeah but just having handcarts, boxes, and baskets everywhere is kind of aggravating.
Imagine building a box specifically for certain items, like a box for carrots that held more of that item.
Crafting recipe could be easy to add,
Wood planks plus the item like how you make a bucket to specify the item and thus the storage built:
Wood planks with Carrot + Rope = Carrot Storage.
I really like this idea so I suggested it on Reddit.
I've added a suggestion on Reddit to have a way to refill dry wells.
This is awesome, I was considering doing something like this as well. Would you like suggestions and pull requests?
Instead of re-installing, you can run this command in the terminal.
cd /Applications/OneLife_v58b # or wherever the game is
chmod 744 OneLife_v64.app/Contents/MacOS/OneLife
That fixes permissions and should allow it to run.
Does the act of giving birth lower your food (not just breast feeding)? If so then males have that advantage.
I don't like to abandon children so being a man is fun.
What do you think of adding rudimentary armor by crafting bones and a coat together? This would allow players to survive one hit from a wolf, bear, or other player. The armored coat could turn back to normal after being hit.
I assume there will be iron armor in the future, but an earlier armor would help prevent those unexpected instant deaths.
Edit: I just noticed suggestions are being posted on Reddit, so I posted this one there.
Yes, the lag has been bad for me today too. Having a delay in performing actions is ok, but when there is someone else nearby I see ghost objects or the screen instantly changes. This makes it very difficult to do anything productive.
