Because the game developer's perspective will have relevance to the conversation.
Also, the topic title here has broader scope than the other ones. I think the role of males in the game is a big issue, not just the lack of fatherhood.
Yes, I necroed an old thread. But necroing is not necessarily bad. I don't know why people apparently think that. Maybe Walrus doesn't think that, and just was making a joke, but then the joke I think indicates that someone thinks that necroing is bad. Discussions don't always take into account every relevant detail when they take place. Sometimes mistakes go unnoticed. There's more to it, but I think it suffices to make an analogy here. If necroing were necessarily bad, then Copernicus would have to have been an idiot, because he revived an old idea that had previously gotten rejected. And Copernicus wasn't an idiot. So necroing can be good.

I don’t really think necroing is bad per say, I was mostly answering Walrus question about who necroed it, and then responded to your objection. But I agree that Jason’s insight would be valuable in this instance. But alternatively you could have quoted Jason in one of the newer threads and linked to this old one as a source, but I don’t personally mind that you necroed this thread IMHO.
Anyway this’ll be my last post on this thread.
