I don't wish to see any restrictions on /die unless the game mechanics are changed to give me options for where I spawn. I prefer Eve or 2nd or 3rd generation. I almost always /die if I am in a town. Too much silly drama and stabbing in towns.

I just want to note for the record that stabbing people for suboptimal play, or not doing things your way is also silly drama. It doesn't have to be about crowns and roleplay. A griefer should be killed if their actions pose an *immediate* threat to the survival of the family and town.
Yes Stab:
-Some one is killing people for no reason
-Some one is hiding tools, breaking pens, breaking kilns, undoing the work of other players
-a pattern of the "don't stab" behaviors combined with rudeness (but confer with others first, so they know what you are doing)
No Don't Stab:
-they built an ugly building
-they put soil on the berry bush you wanted to remove
-they are not doing what you think is enough work
-they "wasted iron" by using the shovel for some bad purpose
-they picked the last carrot
-they killed someone for one of these reason but are otherwise a productive player (revenge of a bad griefer kill just makes the population loss worse)
Some of the things under "don't stab" make me super annoyed. But, how I feel isn't the metric for who might need to be removed to protect the town. This is even more true if the person in a female under 40.
The question is: will this person continuing to live lead to the end of this camp? Or could they, despite making mistakes and not playing optimally contribute more than they detract? And even if they are a net drain on the community murder is disruptive, so it needs to be justified by a very serious danger. If the person wants the camp to survive but is going about helping that happen in the wrong way they are not really a serious threat.
I strongly suspect that almost all kills in this game are "silly"

I don't understand why murder is even in the game. There are plenty of games that feature it. Let stabby types go play those games and leave us peacful folks alone.

Murder is the only way to stop someone from actively griefing in your city/village/camp. Otherwise the game would just be a big game of hide and seek as you look for all the stuff that has been "misplaced." You either learn to become vigilant and start removing problem people or you let one or two bad eggs ruin everyone else's fun.
fug it’s Tarr.

I think it makes the social interactions more meaningful since we have total freedom. It's a social game, and the "solution" for problems is based on player interaction. It's not just a farming a crafting simulator.

- Let new players watch their mothers for 45 seconds (9 months) before being born
- They see everything their mother sees
- The Mother doesn't know she is pregnant
- If the baby dies during this time it will have no effects on the mother
- If the baby dies during this time the mother will never know she was pregnant
- There could be a message / indicator that tells the new player he has to wait until he is born
- The 45 seconds already count to the first year of the new player
We need this, this would help mothers to live up to their duties, especially when out of town. Babies have always been a dead weight when popping all out of nowhere and mother being shocked and trying to act fast to get them back to town / nursery.
This would make /die function little bit more better... It would not make players feel so much of guilt when dying.
Oh, and when it comes for /die thing, I sometimes try hard to avoid using it, since I simply want to play. At one time I almost wanted to spell /die, when villager put kindlings on small fire, but over time it turned out to be very fruitful place, lots of iron everywhere and iron mines, so I lost that wrath on that one player who just might've been new themselves.
If you ever enter Pea (Helkama turns into random name) family, you need the lottery ticket picked up. My baby names given can be absolutely random.
"Are you fueled with peasoup or why you keep running off from temperature tile?"

What sort of things make you loath living in a place. I don't think delayed dies like that are a problem because you gave the place a chance. For me it's if people are unsupportive or directly obstruct whatever I'm trying to do or if there are a group of people standing around talking, joking and they just ignore me and don't help as I clean up their plates, make them food, etc.
Some of the time these are new players and they don't know what to do. So, I will try asking for help if my comments about things that need to be done are just ignored and they keep going with the games or whatever I wander off into the wilds and munch for a bit-- if when I come back nothing is has been done and the goofing off is still going on I quietly leave. Just not my play style and I'm not the maid who is there to support your role play while being ignored.
Sorry for the UBER long wait! But I generally end up hating a town if I see a great deal of mess among people taking the game too seriously, not talking, not responding to you talking.
You can do the same pump over and over again but the interations with people you have are unique.
If something suprisingly cool happens to me while as a baby or if I get born into some petty drama I kind of wanan stay more lol.
Sometimes I just randomly die/shuffle for no rhyme or reason.
The important thing to remember is that any baby that /die is still present in the game, just elsewhere D: .

Its more likely they were old. It used to make sense to use two kindling for warmth. But after the temp change there is no sane reason to ever do it. I was a baby to a rather good Eve once but her only flaw was using two kindling ALL the time. And I could not talk well enough to get her to stop.
If you have a ton of eggs as Eve you can make TWO egg rocks with a tile between and keep the fire going with just eggs as long as you have them. A good move if you are stuck watching all the babies and maybe Eve's daughter having a baby boom yourself. Set up the two rocks, let the kindle fire go out and wait as long as you can before the next egg as you wait for you old ma or brother to come back with iron.

I don't loathe janitorial duties either. Usually don't die, but setting a limit might bite sometimes. Got one daughter today to live by grabbing on to her repeatedly, had ready txt "No you dont get away that easily" worked for once, even got a smile out of her then. Many ran nevertheless. Town had enough ppl to support my behaviour hence I saw it as ok.
One thing I don't get is why, when I got directly to double-eves one kid grieved, as if starting isn't a challenge itself. Probably b/c it is easier. Even when computer crashed later and hence (I think) I cannot follow up what happened later on, I think that evecamp had it good by that time, it was in OK way when I left. Also, taught them to feed me (hopefully others) only when asked...
