the settings don't seem to save after quitting life, going back to menu
the chat mode only doesn't seem to activate at all
resulting in a weird case when you press p in chat you end up unable to click yourself which can starve you, should ignore the player? i had to eat with shortcut until figured what happened

the keys get stuck when you type a lot (i used macro to type a lot of lyrics) ,so the character starts to walk a lot into a direction, generally diagonally, and no way to stop it, right click stops it but then you stuck in place, and if you click anything it still walks more that way

the names don't scale with zoom also aren't hidden when the players are hidden, so it's quite annoying on zoom and defeats the purpose of hiding players

WASD keys were still working in chat mode, but others were disabled. I fixed WASD case.
I name tags are hard to see if they are scaled. So I don't scale them.

i need to update to check
i think you put the mac version inside the windows version together, also the folder structure puts it inside another folder, the size difference 2.5 vs 4.7 mb and also same version for people who already updated, looks the same

personally if i interact with people i do it on lower zoom so i don't really want to see their names on higher zoom
should be a toggle for it then
maybe track specific people on higher zoom? the only reason i zoom out and interested in people is travel or griefers

maybe the toggles should have visual representation if they are on or off, like a side panel or some buttons

picking off items next to your tile happens without any shortcut so you can end up dropping picking up stuff by moving one tile while in easy pick up mode

also when you type a lot, can be stuck in a running diagonal infinitely way, right-click stops it for a bit but then just runs again

just type ":" without comma, without anything after same as the internal "/" stops the internal recipe search

Is the new version out yet? I find I often have issues with functionality when using an out of date version (but not always). The last couple of days I've been playing the vanilla game because I can't interact with a lot of objects this update using the outdated version. Works fine for me though when my mod is up to date, other than accidentally using hotkeys that I don't know about =p

I also have the bug. It doesn't allow me to grab berries or anything really.

This happened on the update where Jason enabled the +noBackAccess on shelves so I would guess it's related.

It happens immediately, no steps. Just turn on the game and join in and things can't be clicked on (it highlights but click does nothing).

the huge text walls are a bit annoying, the ones with arrows, also no coordinates to it so it's just super big and useless.

Yeah I'm actually getting this same bug, even after upgrading to 278 today. For reference, i was getting the same issue with 276 the last two days if that helps in any way.

Hey - just downloaded your mod and am having a really difficult time not being able to use left/right click.

I went to go change the keybind settings and am not sure if something's wrong on my end, or if this is how it should look...

I was having this problem occasionally, turns out it's a hot key that hides all people and animals when you press 'H', it can be reversed by pressing 'H' again. I starved a few times this way before someone told me what was going on.

Is anyone getting past the recent clicking issues?

Pressing control key makes you can't click on anything (for journeys).
Sometimes the game knows that control key is pressing without your pressing.
Pressing it again lwe the game know correct information.
I think the reason is it.

I tried that, it did not work.
Pressing "P" however allowed me to left click on items but I still could not click on myself, so I couldn't feed myself or remove clothing items
Pressing "P" again brought me too the original problem

yes, P is fast click mode so you need to use shortcuts to click and eat, Q is eating.
It's useful when moving stuff around or manipulating one per tile items like smithing (if idiots don't stack it up for you)
or picking up items like seeds or needles
but if you accidentally press it's hard to figure out that you did, especially that p still opens chat mode with words starting with P

I think you should make a help screen ingame or just put the toggles on side of screen, like if something is on, then a red button with the shortcut, if it's off, then an empty button, also would be helpful so people can memorize the features

Another person has reported it.
I knew the bug, but i couldn’t reproduce it. He and you look to be running my mod on windows. I’m using mac. It only happens on windows?
