People always have to move to find new sources of oil, so anything that is made is inevitably abandoned, and the whole experience of “Building on what past generations have made” is ruined.
However, I believe there is a solution to this: Infinite oil.
If oil wells could pump out oil forever, then we could easily have megacities since people don’t have to move around all the time, and I feel like the game would be much better to play.
Of course, Another solution would be to make moving cities a thing
What version is the server currently running on?
What if instead of an infinite world with limited resources we have a limited world with infinite resources?
Maybe we have been drinking blue oil this whole time.
Well then we should use this blue oil to power diesel wells!
We could have an infinite source of blue oil!
When something is wet, that means it has water molecules attached to it.
Water (in big enough quantities) has water attached to it, so it is wet.
Unless you have only one molecule of water, then water is wet.
I personally like race restrictions, it gives me a chance to gather resources no one else can. What I don't like is that all the families are separate. Bring back megacities, let us live in unity.
Technically megacities can exist, they just have to span all four homeland biome bands
Tameable bears is even better.
I want to ride a grizzly.

And it doesn’t matter if you never met those children, since they will count regardless as long as they were born during your lifetime.
I’m not sure what goes into the calculations of gene score, but I will say that with what you’re showing here you should at the very least break even from score. In my experience the score system punishes you harder for young kids dying than it rewards you for having family members die old age. From what I’ve seen this is also regardless of the persons average age and score.
This makes no sense....
Only people who are born after me count? why?
Everyone should count, not just some players!
If you help your family, you help your entire family, not just those who were born after you ...
Maybe that’s because they might die before you are born, and thus you can’t do anything about them, so they don’t count to your gene score.
So some people keep on eating the same foods over and over again. Like berries.
This is a huge waste of food, so to prevent this, players should not be able to eat the same kind of food 5 times in a row. Like berries.
If they eat something else, then they can go back to Berrymunching, but then after four berries they have to eat something else.
For example, this would work as a person’s diet:
BERRY -> BERRY-> BERRY -> BERRY -> CARROT -> BERRY -> BERRY -> BERRY -> BERRY -> TOMATO
Hopefully this will teach newer players to eat a varied diet of food instead of just eating berries all the time.
What if a greifer gets the armor?
nice
Bear caves are, currently, impossible to remove.
But what if they could be?
What if when you used a pickaxe on it, the bear cave would turn into a pile of cut stones and firewood?
This would be useful in removing unwanted caves that could be used to grief.
Ok, you might be thinking “Why do we need a chainsaw?”
Well, an axe can cut down trees, but it’s hungry work. A chainsaw will do the same thing, but it doesn’t count as hungry work. With the chainsaw, you can cut down as many trees as you would like within the two minutes that it operates for.
The chainsaw requires two people to operate. One to hold the chainsaw and cut down the trees, and the other person to add the fuel.
The link below shows how the chainsaw is made.

Gloves could be made by taking two pieces of cut rabbit fur, and then splitting it in half to get one piece of cut rabbit fur. Then you use a needle and thread on it to get a glove.
The stats for the glove are as follows:
NAME: Rabbit Fur Glove
INSULATION: 2.5%
PICKUP AT AGE: 3
ITEM SIZE: SmallBut why would we even need gloves?
Well, currently in the game, the highest insulation % you can get is 95%.
But with two gloves, you would increase your insulation by 5%.
And 95 + 5 = 100.
With gloves, it will FINALLY be possible to get an insulation % of 100%.
Maximum insulation is actually 97% if you wear a cape instead of a backpack
SEALSKIN COAT - 31.5% insulation
RABBITFUR LOINCLOTH - 17% insulation
RABBITFUR SHOE x2 - 17% insulation
WOLF HAT - 22.5% insulation
CLOAK - 7% insulation
31.5 + 17 + 17 + 22.5 + 7 = 95

Ok, I fixed the issue
Instead of using a diesel engine, you could build a Newcomen tower inside an Unpowered crude car.
Cars with diesel engines use kerosene to move around, and kerosene is hard to get. However, Newcomen towers only need water and charcoal to move, so they'll be cheaper to use.
Of course, a Newcomen tower is very heavy, so to support the extra weight, an extra pair of wheels must be added.
Here's a preview of what the car might look like:
