Having a mode makes you free to do ANYTHING.
-----Discovery of the Beautiful city-----
Wandering in the wilderness to look for Iron for my initial city. I found a lost city with an engine, a bunch of oil, Iron and a nicely done city design!
I was a man so I decided to spawn again after my death to repopulate the city.
After some /dies born as a girl to Death family. My name was Minisha
I born in the undeveloped village near the two Tar spots. Our village was poor though and we didn't even have clothes.
Right after I reached 3, I left the village naked with only a berry in hand.
Start walking west, Found a bowl, filled it with wild berries and kept walking.
Then I found BP, later cloths, a knife, another bp. After that, a ruined village, got a cart, Extra clothing, a pie just in case.
When I was reaching near the rift I found another ultra developed city but not so nice as the one I was looking for. Its design was cluttered, small houses, near each other and no Iron. It had a lot of Oil though.
In that city I met a man he was an explorer as well, we chatted a bit, I told him about my plan but he had other things to do. He wished me Good luck though and kept going with his things.
Looking around the city, I saw two uncooked tires. So, I made fire, cooked them and installed them on my cart. Loaded 2 full kero tanks to my newly pimped cart and left the other one in case someone needs it.
So there is me, from a naked girl of the poor village, now some tiles away from the most beautiful city of all!
Fully clothed, with a pimped cart, with oil, extra clothes for my first bb, an apron in case of need. I even had some engine parts, snatched from a Hungry bear along the way, someone must had been killed from her while carrying them.
I had walked far away from any previously seen vilage and was back in the wilderness while ...poof my first girl borned.
I dressed her up and told her what I was doing. She seemed to know the basics and co-operate but I knew she was too young for a trip.
I got her to a nearby bush to feed ourselves and wait for her to grow up when I saw it!
Bones! Human bones! I sign of civilization! I run to the direction their coming from and found a city.
It wasnt the beutiful city I was looking for but it was a fine city for my child to grow up.
I feed my kid, got her a pie in her BP and told her to stay on fire. It was abandoned but it had a fire going for some reason.
I got my cart back to the fireplace with us and talked to my daughter.
"Now this is important bb, the future of my endeavor is upon your survival. Stay here and make sure you stay alive. I will find that city and come back for you."
The village had a dry Diesel pump so I used a kero on it to pump some water for my daughter.
I name her Hopi, got a horse cart with tires from the village, transferred my stuff and ride away!
I didn't know exactly where the city was so I was riding up and down the rift for a while.
I couldn't find it! I reached the top rift, ok I said it must be south, I reached south rift, ok it must be more to the east. Nope, it wasn't.
I reached a ruined village that I remember witnessing it before I discover the Beautiful city. Then it hit me, The Beautiful city was straight east from this village! I run for a minute and YES! I found it!
But now I realized I was lost. I didn't know where my daughter was! I hadn't saved her coordinates.
I was over 40 now and I had no time for extra wandering. I saved the cords of the Beautiful city and gone for my child.
Thank god no long after I found her, She was a fully grown woman and with a young girl as well!
"I found it Hopi,I found it! I was so happy to see them alive but we had to go fast. "Load cart with food, We move!
We fully loaded my tire horse cart and my old tire cart and moved.
I had turn grey and the town was like 200-300 tiles away. Soliyana was young though and I was making sure we move from bush to bush so they remember to stop and eat. We were a family on the move my dream was coming through.
With whistles to keep them moving on my direction and steady pauses for eating we got safely to the Beautiful city.
I showed them around, the diesel pump, the mine, the engine the tons of iron.
As my last act, I made a fire, told Soliyana to stay full and warm to make bbs.
Then I took my pimped cart, stood next to the tons of iron laying around me and Died, with the biggest smile I ever had:)

-----PS-------
Now Try to Have such an experience without a Zoom mode, Crealy imposible
twisted have you ever try zoom mode?
Zoom mode enable you to do a lot more interesting staff than vanila.
Why does it need walls in the first place?
a lot of tires!
1/2 per Hour , 12 in total per 10 hours
that needs a rubber workplace too
I never doubt that you are a pro Destiny
It is a challenge for the average player and it doesn't need to be unpractical
If someone can manage to be productive without ever consuming a water-made food is a pro for me.
I would accept milk too cause it is ridiculously efficient.
First of all zoom mode usage is advised.
The Challenge to be a pro:
1st Live only from renewable wild or no watered foods. (Wild berries, cactus, eggs, cooked rabbits)
2st Produce as much as you can with minimum water consumption
Btw upgrading your carts to rubber carts is better resource-wise than making new carts.
Don't let those carts decay people!
Pein do you find this a good design?
If not do you have any blueprint of proper city design?
Smith is in the spot where Composting and Wheat have to be. (between kitchen, berries, and carrots)
stone construction building is in the place where the kitchen has to be ( next to sheep pen)
carrots are far from sheep pen.
corn is far from stew place but also far from Cows.
Thanks for the apology Quirky. Welcome back to the Caregivers, hope you have a nice stay:)
yeah, that's true by design!

A lot of players use curse you on dead bodies!

hetuw
E

Q
press Q to put something in your backpack or take something out
CURSE YOU
You phrases; Targets nearest player.
Does this target the nearest Alive player OR I can curse a recently dead one too by standing on his corpse?
well, I guess 1 member of the twins-quads having his curses to spend as a solo player would still protect us from griefer abuse.
maybe they have cursed enough other people they didn't have someplace to spawn?
this is not how curses work
cursing block is one way, meaning that the Cursed player can't spawn to the Cursing one, but the Cursing player can spawn to the cursed one.
whats the average curse number of people that spawned in DT Once?
I was Merida Dyke, a female born in a not super-advanced village, without a fence, with well engine, 2 cars, OIl but little to no Iron.
When I became older I gear up and tried to find some Iron.
In my journey south down the road I found our oil spot with 1 more free tar spot and a collapsed mine.
I looked some more but I couldn't find anything that would get me closer to Iron.
I found a gold crown though I placed it on my head and returned home with a bp full of scavenged things along the way.
At my surprise when I returned home our smith Had Iron! I ran all the village asking where that Iron came from.
I found a guy that said to me that he had stolen that from a living town, he wasn't proud of it but he did what he had too.
I thanked him none the less and before I leave the smith spot Another guy came. He was on a horse cart Full of Iron!
I was amazed! I quickly started to ask, From Where? , Do we have an engine?! He replied that the iron was from an abandoned town and Yes they had an engine that he was gonna bring right away!
Our town from nothing more than 2 steel ingots was now drowned in Iron, it was so much that we didn't need to go for more for decades to come.
I wanted to preserve that, so when the Young rider brought the engine I started to make a property fence to protect it.
That wouldn't be a city fence but a dedicated one, owned by the crown!
I farmed milkweed, made fence bundle and end up with a this!
http://prntscr.com/pcwxsb
Our town had also a king that I gave him ownership telling him to keep the tradition.
I gave my crown to my last son as he helped me to improve the engine treasury with Kerosin and chisels.
I was happy that my town now had two kings with a treasury to protect the city.
After I died though I saw that my Sun and heir had been murdered!
What happened Willson?! Is the engine ok? Plz, tell mommy!
Nice guide, thanks!
What do you mean by this though? whats does stay up for longer, the fire?
"collect around 8-12 eggs and cook it one by one, keeping almost a minute difference between them so it stays up for longer."
does the 2-minute timer of Hot flat rock refresh every time I cook something on it?
