I wouldn't get rid of locks if I had the chance but I would change how they work, so in my home the front door has to unlocked with a key (duh) but once in side all I have to do is turn the small thing on the other side of the door to re lock it...
so that's what I would make one side need a key to enter but on the other side you can open the door regularly without the key.
Tarr vs Pien vs spoonwood vs destinycall who will win? who will lose? who doesn't care any more? ….
This idea came to me through a very simple thought prosses, what did old civilization use to smith? and it hit me!
BRONZE
bronze is such an important alloy in human history so important in fact that an entire time period was named after it! the Bronze age!
bronze is a simple alloy a mixture of tin and copper, we already have copper so adding tin wouldn't be such a big deal.
so my idea is that instead of using iron you could use bronze to make tools!
okay that's the simple stuff now we have to talk about some the properties of tin... while tin is portraited as a common metal it isn't. the you can only find tin in large clusters called mines but this are also very rare!
so tin in OHOL could only be harvested from mines which would be rare then iron mined but would hold out more tin on average having 7 uses and having a 19% chance of use.
forging would be simple you combined a copper ingot with a tin ingot to get a copper ingot. this would allow towns to specialize in bronze instead of iron, or use their iron to make pumps and cars instead of tools!
wow I worded my idea weird...
you cant crash plains. you can only get lost without a landing pad

if we have cats we need mice, rats that's how we started the domestication of cats, they found it effective to stay with humans so they eventually learned to love us! (not really but we love them)
rats could spawn where lots of food isn't stored the more food on the ground the hire spawn rates of rats, they can be killed with a knife or a bow, but are hard to hit... cats will be attracted to places with rats, and will stay on the outskirts
cat's can be domesticated by feeding them a rat like wolfs they will spawn a litter of kittens, once spawned you have to feed the semi domesticated kittens, to get semi domesticated cats.
then finally feed the semi domesticated cates for a litter of domestic kittens, once fed they will turn into cats and will hunt mice in the village and won't run away.
the spooky ritual, should do some thing astatic, it could act like a one time bell tower and call for people while delivering a spooky song! also all bones in a 50 by 50 tiles will get a flame in their eyes like the "live nosaj" to add a stunning effect. finally any black cats in a 100 by 100 tiles will:
A flee from the calling
B run to the calling
I think you misted the most important part of the roman empire... wine!
but with the armor I think that it should be a game of chance, every piece of armor increase your chance of being hit or attack (animals), but most importantly their should be a consequence in wearing armor! (why not every one wears steel plating under their T-shirts) so I think the consequence of wearing armor is simple armor is heavy! so with the more you wear the slower you will walk... it won't be a big difference. also armor wouldn't give insulation, but would increase heat dramatically, because people sweat.
no to make armor better the longer you wear it the faster you get until you return to normal speed... indicating that you have gone accustomed to the weight... also you should be able to wear roman tunics under the armor. you might say it would Increase the all ready hot user, but the tunic is light and won't cause much of a heat change but will insulate, protection against heat or cold shock!
that how I summarize armor in OHOL
my biggest update was paper, it rocked and still does! I just hope that soon we can start making books! if we could you would literally see libraries written by mwah!
what is also a hidden recycling method is (at least I think so) putting chisels and files into crucibles, after use just smelt them again, or be ready to re smelt them if they are close to breaking.
I think that a reason we don't have a lot of fathers is because child hood is so short! 4 min and you become a hard working individual!
The moment you get hair your off your mom's lap.... Which doesn't make sense as usually daughters(just being historically accurate) would de sold off to marriage at age 15-16 (though marriage was probably planed at age 5...) while boy's left the house about 18-20 and to get married with their planned wife...
if we want more parental roles we must extend the "child hood" also the thought of just letting a five year old work is just strange when voiced... but I'm not sure how to extend the "child hood" of a kid without nerfing the entire game!
mosquitos only bite people for reproduction... so what I would find interesting if they disappeared, but would come back twice as dense then before, a short term solution! for a long term problem
A way to draw or paint, just for the fun of it and to make a village nicer.... (art isn't a waste of materials)
just look at this:

stack of clay plates and clay bowls can now be put into a wooden box!

that's the only big thing I found!
what I did when I first got the game I saved the download URL, on a google docs... I used it just incase the original file corrupted, which it did! so I redownloaded it, its a great way to download it into new computers as you can accesses docs any where.
the baby assassin probably has a snow ball not a gun!
may be for kids it would classify as a "bear blanket!" and when you are an adult you get a bear skin cloak! I'm just imagining a person with a wolf hat, bear cloak, and a muffle skin! it would be a furry mess!
cannibalism is horrible! in Africa their was the laughing disease it is when a person can't stop trembling, and making horrid screeching sounds! Eventually the contaminated couldn't live and would just fall over and die! good news it didn't spread through touch but it did through bodies! an African tribe got stuck in a vicious cycle that their members would die, and then the rest of the village would cannibalize the dead corpse... allowing the disease to spread and more people to die and be eaten! its evil! who ever has the mind to eat your own kind is just gross and your just asking for disease and plague!
on a lighter note humans are too salty it's not a pleasant meal...
wander: doesn't do any thing but talk and eat berries, and some times pies... but can be fascinating to hear what he/she says!
be the caretaker
don't tell the rest of the town that you are taking care of every single baby as you slowly bring down the town into starvation!
#Auroradidnothingwrong…. except for watching us in the shadows!
for magical flamingo.. I bring pictures of donkey town...
no you don't their is a past post with photos... now you can see it on the top!
oh bob you can't assume some one's intelligence level by a post.... (I know from experience)
I don't think cannibalism will ever be added... and none of the people in the nursery had any weapons... (except for me) so cannibalism wouldn't be that useful until some one died

YES jewlery please!!! Especially considering the importance it held in real life human history.
if we had jewelry we would need to start spelunking (mining) as gold and jewels would be to rare! have bear caves become mines if humans start working in them I think that mining would also help the Iron problem!
