Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but lines don't live forever even if everything is perfect, the reason is updates and server clean ups. When the new update hits you will see lots of Eves, the towns may still exist but the family that lived there before will not have been given any children to get ready for the changes.
If the update that is being predicted is a new biome everything will have to change, meaning all camps will be deleted. I think the longest lines now is 40-50 gens.
I once spent a life emptying out the wells into cisterns and building new cisterns to store more water. If you run completely out of water a cart, four buckets and a backpack with pie and bowl is needed. You then go out to find ponds and fill your buckets using a bowl from them.

Feel free to murder me everytime then, one pair of capable hands less. Bet you are the kinda mom that nags about everything and overfeeds constant... complains and gets toxic for babyes trying to dodge your overfeeding by moving around.
I will do and yes I feed when I have the time, not on the babies schedule. I don't have the time to wait around for them to "F" when I have other tasks to do outside of the main camp. My time is also a valuable resource and it wasn't me that was complaining it was the kid, like I'm sorry next time tell me at the start and I won't feed until you "F" except when you are hungry I won't be around.
If there are skewers at a farm, please do not make home markers out of them. We need the skewers to farm, we do not need six separate home markers. Look first for a home marker that is already made and use a sharp stone then the round stone to share it with others.

Animal bones you mean surely and not my character or their ancestors dead bodies. We have needles from rabbits but more uses for animal carcasses would be great.
It has saved lineages in the past. The one I would like to see changed is babies being born to women with three or under food, where they cannot pick you up because it would kill them.
Over 450 people are playing right now, on six different servers. It really is amazing and makes the game so much more exciting.
I can't remember her name now but I had a really good mother in one life. I entered the game at the same time as a lot of other new players thanks to YouTube recommending some let's play of it to me. Bought the game and loaded right on in except at first I didn't know how to talk (never read the hit enter to speak in the loading), didn't know how to eat and mostly got left by players or starved the second I got hair. This went on for a few lives until I got to my mum. She taught me the basics such as speaking, eating, making home marker, farming and gathering. So pretty much on day one of the game I got lucky. Just before she died she said if you see something you want to learn go to Onetech, which I did and that is what I did in the future.
When the tutorial finally came in to the game I taught myself to smith using one tech and the easy resources it provides. Later on I also practiced smithing in an empty server where I solo Eve'd until I had made my first file, chisel, knife and shears.
It also took me awhile to learn hunting without running right into the wolf/boar/bear I was trying to shoot, but I practised those skills as a boy so no one cared much if I was an idiot lol.
Hi bro I was Susie your sister, the one you never knew you had. You see when I was born our mother was standing next to a bunch of empty berry bushes so she moved to another bush and started to empty that one, then she done this again and again. Looking around in my limited view I was worried about food. Sister said to mum we needed to make a home and mum said "How?", sister looked on worried and replied "Set home marker Ma". Ma said "How?"
I was getting the feeling Ma had left her own village far to soon to be an Eve. I got her a stone and a skewer but she kept on eating at the berries, this scared me. I'm not proud but I made myself a basket, a sharp stone and a burdock and I ran as far as my little legs could carry me. I had no clue of your existence or of the home you had made for us.
I ran miles upon miles, dodging snakes and boars til finally I seen a bunch of milkweed. This surely was a sign, this was to be my new home. I made the fire tools and out popped my first son. I had four cactus but no fruit yet, lots of eggs but no plates, very few berries or wild food left so I pretended to not see him. When the next son came along I done the same thing. My third son was born as I was making pottery, I planned on keeping him but he did not plan to stay. The fourth turned to bones in my arms.
I was feeling pretty sad after two sons said nope to life with me when a girl popped out. The joy I felt was indescribable, I named her Zabrina popped her on a good temp spot and ran to get more eggs. Zabrina was a sweetheart but she wouldn't stay still. I came back from egg gathering and she was gone, I found her little bones north in a cold patch. I was getting pretty old and thought I was doomed to die alone. I thought back on Chris and hope she was doing well, perhaps with a few children of her own. I thought of the boys I left and if they had come back the third and fourth time as my nope kids.
Not one to dwell in self pity to long, I got more clay to continue my plan to make as many omelettes as I could. All of a sudden she came, my Zahara and she was smart, very smart. She looked around and said "Your Ma Eve?" All I managed was yes, I never told her of her Gma and Aunt somewhere in the South East. I think she believed one of the bones of her siblings must be her Gma.
I had another son and I was so relieved, maybe I had not angered the spirits and this was my chance to raise a son. I named him Zoltan. I told him about the three cacti above the kiln, how they magicked yellow food and it needed to be picked. I told him about the cactus just south to. He helped me with omelettes but somehow he starved when I went for eggs.
Seeing his bones I worried about Zahara who had been gone for quite a long time. I gave birth to another girl just as my hair turned to silver, she ran away into the swamp I couldn't even find her bones to place with her brothers. This is it I thought. My life was over, my children all gone.
Then Zahara turned up wearing a backpack and carrying a child. My girl, my smart wonderful girl. She always did turned up when I was doubting my life's purpose. Renewed I started on the berry farm and seen my Zahara patiently teach her daughter how to farm. She really was a great mother, far better than I was. My life was at an end, but it was a good one though I wish I had known about you brother.
My last words were to remind my granddaughter she needed to set a home marker. Our line lived on for quite a few generations more.
Big berry farms do not annoy me, what does is big berry farms that have no gaps or spaces to place bowls/baskets/dirt. I am personally a fan of the five by five berry plots surrounded by floor tiles to me they look good and they are practical. Make two (fifty bushes) and you should have enough to feed a fairly large village as long as the berries are refreshed often.
It is frustrating though when you have plans, tell people those plans but they still join up your two separate berry plots or use the dirt around berries (which is there to refresh the bushes) to expand. Not the worst thing in the world but still irritating.
I still often fall into the habits of eating berries, mostly when I have no backpack and I am working compost or on the berries it's easy food without detours.
I still remember being a new player and getting yelled at for munching on anything that was not berries. Pies are for adults (even when I was trying to learn to cook), carrots are not food (got stabbed once for that), which lead to me as a not so new player who made it to adulthood for the first time still eating berries and mostly working near berries to be near food. Hunger is very difficult to manage when you are new to the game.
Don't know if this is any better but I cropped out the wooden frame so the face is slightly bigger
We already have your last request, it happens when an Eve spawns into a city with people and decides to kill them all so her only her lineage can live there.
The milkweed regrowth used to be true but no longer. If you have seeds a plenty pick away.
So I worked hard all my life grew carrots in my childhood, made sure the wheat was regrown when a young child, made six piles of compost all before popping out my first child a sweet boy I named Halloween. I asked him if he wanted to stay to which I was delighted when he agreed, moved him to a nice warm spot and continued my work. When I returned one time he had hair but hadn't moved so I gave him a berry and again went back to work.
When my daughter Pumpkin was born I had to tell her that her brother was in a coma but I was feeding him as he was such a good baby. She made the sad face and I told her he was a good child. He was on a good temp tile, he never said anything bad, never done anything wrong and I only fed him one berry when I'd lost seven of my food and went to eat. I had hope he would come back. People can do that now with disconnect and sometimes they are just AFK for a time.
Pumpkin grew up and I once again went back to my work, taking time out now and again to feed Halloween. This mean lady Anya said stop feeding him and I said he isn't harming anyone. Her and her man friend said he wasn't contributing, I exclaimed that I work hard and he makes me happy which is a huge contribution. However she pulled out a knife and cold bloodily stabbed my first born son right in front of me, starting screaming griefer. Is a few berries really worth hurting someone that tried their hardest to keep the village going? Why did she have to ruin my fun, I put in way more food to the town than either of us ever consumed.
Anya was killed for killing him but he was dead now and her man friend kept telling people that I was a griefer. My second daughter Moon Light was born over the bloody corpse of her murdered eighteen year old brother. I however was too upset to continue on I fed her until hair and let myself starve.
Think I need to time out of this game for awhile, people are getting really toxic.
No more baby stabbings (well less anyways)
I would like It If girls could say "I marry (name of boy)" and then If a boy says "I marry (name of girl who married him) They are now husband and wife! (To make sure its not abused both people have to say It.)
After they are married, all kids the girl has and will have will see her husband as a "father".
Long ago incest used to be very common. Maybe to not make It too weird only cousins or distant relatives could marry? And of course If an Eve spawns in a populated place then her children can marry the fam who lived here before, cus not related.
Oh and when one of them dies It should show up on family tree as "Married to:(name)"Anyway Idk If this would be hard to add into the game, just an idea I had.
I like this idea, I also like the idea of fathers in general. Even if it is just the male nearest you when you give birth that becomes the father (excluding your own father because that is just too incestuous, brothers fine, fathers not fine). If you are a solo girl with no men then your kid has no father same as always.
Back to the original topic it is as everyone has said boys are great. I once had seven boys and one girl kept them all because we had enough omelettes/berry/carrots. The girl was a star as she stayed alive and gave my grandchildren, the boys were stars as they fetched me soil for berry farming so I didn't have to leave my hot baby spot, made a pen, made all the tools, fetched so much iron and got us sheep. Huge bonus as well being if I'd had eight daughters the next gen would have been in so much trouble, not as much would have progressed and the population may have grown too much.
Mango Salsa, mango chutney on flat bread, mango chicken (goose I guess).
Still haven't seen one in game yet.
Will people stop, just stop with the freaking bears. Just had a young boy who I tried to name when he got hair jump before I named and then released two bears on my second gen camp where we had just got omelettes FFS. I never forced him to stay, really could have cared less if he did suicide and he killed me and his sisters.
Two bears, two freaking bears and he lead them right to the forge where we were trapped grrrr.
And it is their fault if they end up with Xena. Not my fault you picked x...
Xena is a warrior princess, there are few names as cool. I'd be honoured to be named that in game.
If this happens it's only three minutes and then you can run off, there was way worse ideas being considered (stuck spawning as same family and gender). This idea is fairly harmless but is sort of a compromise to both sides. The mothers get to explain to their kids the situation and the babies only need to wait three minutes if they still want out.
Personally I'm not a fan of the parent trap but it could be way, way worse.
I like the idea of a sling taking the BP slot, as a baby is way bigger than one item which is all that an apron holds. To have the sling on the front seems overpowered. I like the idea of choosing BP or sling. As you have already said when traveling you can carry the BB and your stuff using a BP.
My vision is when working in a town you can have the child on your back, work in a cold place but the BB stays warm (body heat) and within your sight, no panic about getting back to the warm spot in time.
I also like the idea of putting a baby in a cart, so you can run fast and carry items. I can see it taking up a basket or twos worth of space.
I do this as well and I like making groups of them such as word/descriptive names, fancy names, short names and weird names.
Shade of purple names: Amethyst, Lilac, Violet, Magenta and Lavender
Pet names: Baby, Honey, Dearie, Darling, Jewel and Love
Title names: Lady, Lord, Queen, King, Earl, Captain, Major, General, Duchess and Duke
You could always twin/triplet/quad eve which will put you all at the same place where you could then split up and go solo
My goals
-make tons of red and blue hats
-heal someone
-build something odd, I have done a question mark in wood floor tiles surround by berries and a chess board where it was berry for black and floor tiles for white. Perhaps write my name in berries if it is a short one. Berries are my Art of choice.
-have tons of kids and name them weird, funny or short names
-help make a railway
