Yep, As predicted here comes the salt instead of just admitting you made a mistake. I love the Internet lol.

Well thanks for warning me, That helps so much.
I'm sure your all going to post some replies flaming me back and calling me stupid bla bla.

No need for me to waste anymore time in this thread. I'll stop before the mods get upset.

Nice job dumbass. Now all the griefer kids know about this. So this random Eve just killed our line with this
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … &id=952445

Why'd all your idiots have to document all this on a public forum, What the fuck where you thinking. I know you didn't have intentions but this was a pretty stupid move on your part.

Maybe if you'd kept this quiet instead of posting it everywhere less griefers would have known about it. But no they have an exact guide to how to effortlessly kill a town in a few short steps. So now the games basically unplayable so thanks.

This is why Jason needs play testers. This is the second time we got the ultimate griefing tool added to the game.

#29 Re: Main Forum » What has been the most annoying moment that ever happened to you? » 2018-08-26 01:23:23

Neo

What I like to call Eve Hell.

Basically it's when I get stuck with Eves and crappy towns for a whole session. It's usually when all the good towns have died out or I'm currently lineage blocked from them. I'll stay with a promising Eve but it's rare for me to find a good Eve that's willing to keep me.
Sometimes I try to turn them around but even with my efforts they usually die out after a generation.

The next thing is probably dying from lag or connection lost. Usually it starts off with my character humping every object for a bit before picking them up. Then the map not loading in. Sometimes you just suddenly lose connection without any prior lag. Sucks when it happens in a good life.

Mum asked me if I could make Stew so that's what I decided to do. An older guy was already making stew and decided to make me his apprentice, I accepted even tho I already knew how to cook stew.
Talked to my sister a few times, She was cool. We roleplayed advertising our stew for a bit. A lady offered to put her baby in the stew at one point.

After a awhile I saw my mother was old. Me, Sis and brother all chased her down to say goodbye. Brother got her shoes, I got her hat and Sis got apron and knife. My sister had to leave so I ended up with the knife anyways.

There was a cursed baby who I decided to stab. The mother agreed to starve it but stabbing them blocks them from the lineage for awhile. But I think she cameback as an Eve and was calling herself the witch.

I chased her but she run, Another dude ended up getting the stab in. People tried to heal her but I stabbed them again to reset it and she died. Another boy was shot by a lady who was quickly stabbed. I think it was cursed persons kid that got shot.

I did feel a little bad afterwards because some said she was actually a good player. I saw the witch person get murdered again in the life after. I don't think anyone should try to be cursed on perpose, The text is cool but you'll get murdered a ton. Don't expect special treatment because your a "good cursed".

Anyways I tried to teach someone's daughter but they went missing and presumably died or lost interest. In the end I died telling kids to read notes.

#31 Re: Main Forum » can you still curse someone that left? » 2018-08-25 03:14:10

Neo

Yeah, You can curse them for up to two hours. Did you know  that you can curse people via notes, Just write it down as if you were cursing them.

You will curse them like normal BUT anyone who reads your note will also curse them if they got a token. People are very likely to read your note so it'll rack up a few extra curse points on them if you're lucky.

Yeah pretty much. Most  Town sheep pen are covered in butchered sheep and shit. I just tell my kids to clean the sheep pen, Even a new player could do it.

#33 Re: Main Forum » Is the OHOL planet earth? » 2018-08-25 02:44:10

Neo

Well apparently the map is x4 bigger then Jupiter. The planet of ohol also has no oceans or rivers, The only source of water are ponds. There're also no hills or mountains or a daynight cycle.

The question is if we made it to the edge would it just end or would we eventually end back where we started.

Because babies can only type a few letters. I guess it was just the easiest way to communicate to mothers that you needed food.

What good are notes written by elders when only elders themselves are able to read them.

So I just noticed you Could stick a note to a bow and arrow.

I wonder if it's worth attaching a note with my reason for killing them. Something like "Thief"  or "Sponge".  Maybe it'll reduce the chance of the town turning against you.

#37 Re: Main Forum » Moving Ponds + Attraction to Roads? » 2018-08-24 02:51:36

I've seen that road, I was wondering how and why someone would build under ice ponds.

Saw an Ice Pond move as an abandoned baby one time. They move and then turn back to normal, It's like Ice Ponds have been secretly alive the entire time.

THEY GONNA KILL US

#38 Re: Main Forum » Ok, i'm stupid but I can't get past the tutorial. » 2018-08-23 15:40:55

Neo

How'd you run out, there's more then enough to finish.

My advice would to be to use your resources more efficiently. Try to get as much done with burning forge as possible. Make 3 bowls and 3 plates, Cook them up and make a charcoal batch afterwards. Take it out and put it in the three bowls and make another batch of charcoal.

That end part is optional anyways.

I think we need higher tech clothes in general. I also kinda wish we make something like the decayed backpack, A mini cheaper one for children.

Okay well I had a play around with it and I didn't mind it too much. You'll find my piece  the in Telelander village.

Should be able to make books out of multiple papers.

Yeah, I'm still thinking about how this will work.

I guess it could be simply a matter of "reading age," where you simply can't pick up a written piece of paper until age 10 or something.

But keeping the speech limit for what you can write makes sense.  Elders can say more, and write more.

10 year olds don't write novels in real life.

Are you sure Jason?

I haven't got a chance to play yet, Heard it was bugged anyway. Wonder if it would be worth writing down some crafting recipes for future generations. Lots of new players need teaching and alot of people don't have the time or patience.

Woah, I was Dan Cool. Not sure if we were the true founders. I was only Gen 4 and we were already a city. I predated that railroad sadly.

The town was doing quite good back then. Mum just threw me out and sent me to work at birth. Never talked to me again. But I got on with farming and sheep, planted some much needed carrot. We had a small water shortage but at least we had a road leading to further out wells.

I only ever saw my sister having kids, She herself even stated "I have a million kids". Not sure how much work she did, I didn't see her much. I just know that mum gave her all her stuff and spent her last years just talking to her.

I tried to talk to mum but she ran off towards my sister. My mum died off and later I found my sister just playing with a rock, While I was smithing a new Hoe.
I got old and retired, Watched a fucking Nephew get old and die before me..

So I cursed out my mother and baby factory sister and died.

there will be always someone who will be bigger, stronger, luckier, at least be nice for 10 minutes, regardless of your past life, some  people value time more than others
you can goof around, at least tend to the berry bushes, its the general newbee areea, pick all berry off, soil it, water it, then do whatever you want

and dont gear babiez, gear working kids

Btw pein. If someone asks you. "Are you pein" It's probably me. You usually say nothing but I've been right alot of the time.

To be fair, You where cursed. Don't get mad at townspeople for chasing you. It's part of the punishment of being cursed.

9/10 times cursed people shouldn't be trusted. What did you do to get cursed in the first place?

Then advanced towns could basically phase out rabbit hunting. Just make a huge pen and make full sets of gear.

Maybe one day we'll be able to cloth every kid. Industrial towns could probably mass produce gear sets and cloth everyone.

One time I saw a cursed person go on a killing spree. Several people tried to get them while wounded but he didn't die.

When people asked "why won't he die" he responded with "Hahaha" but he did eventually die. He just said "my reign of terror is over".

Apparently there's also people that can seemingly pickup weapons before being old enough . Never seen it tho.
