Speaking of inheriting titles, what about lower-ranking titles? If the top tier is a Queen, what will happen with the duchess, countess, baroness & ladies on the death of the top-tier leader? Is there no way to preserve a ranking system without having to redo it manually every time?

Also, would it not be beneficial to add an heir title? X is my heir, heir is X, etc.
That way all ranks could select their heirs and preserve their place in the hierarchy. Better yet, if the ruler could assign titles to followers without having to order people to follow them.

You can shorten the list of open issues by removing these that have either already been fixed or aren't issues anymore with the reason updates.

There is no such thing as race.

So there's a bit of history to why the cultures are so separated. See, before WW2 Europe was very mixed in terms of culture and origin which is natural. There were Germans, Italians, etc all over the continent due to historical settlements since the medieval ages, trade, colonialism, historical conquests, etc. After WW2, the USSR and the West decided to forcibly move thousands of people back to their original home countries even if the people had been integrated and didn't even speak their old language anymore.

Although I'd like to point out that not one single country in Europe is 100% monocultural, the vast majority has very minor percentages of minority groups within them (not counting language subgroups or historical regional minorities).

Anti-discriminatory laws are universal. Every country with a constitution has a clause about discrimination. That is not something you can choose to not accept, it's the law.

Any copout like "different cultures different meaning" is invalid when we're talking about integrity and what we as a society have agreed upon, especially since we're all communicating in English here. If a word is loaded in English, you don't use it, it doesn't matter what your culture says about it. Whether or not a word you use is insulting to you yourself is not interesting.

That's not how racism works. You don't solve racism by allowing everyone to say the N-word and you also don't solve racism by ignoring that race exists.

In any language, words have meaning. If you lived by the words you preach, then I guess you also think that profanities are not problematic? Would you be totally okay for anyone to call your mother something normal people would consider nasty because you think that words are just words?

If not, then we can establish that some words do hurt and aren't just words. Discriminatory slurs are those words that have the same capability to hurt as any other word we use to hurt others. The historical context that surrounds certain words is important to remember and are not to be dismissed.

Saying things like black, white, red, brown etc are just stating facts in-game, that's okay we're not playing actual people. Saying the N-word or similar racial slurs or even yelling profanities in-game, however, is indecent and immature.

I wish we concentrated more on true city building. Like the real one with individual homes + artisan workshop combos. I guess the new update will make us more dedicated to hunting seeing how we'll both need to rid ourselves of boars, bears and wolves around the settlement for security as well as for the early food (wild carnitas are actually quite solid) and clothing. Anyone going out in the wilderness will need a backpack to be efficient so hunting rabbits will be a very important job early on.

Aww! What a shame! I quite enjoyed being able to dismantle the hatchet when travelling. Making a fire and providing kindling for had never been more convenient on the road. Shame!
