Its really silly.
During the early afternoon people also don't really interact with other players. They just get on with it, no explanation. For example, I was a small boy in this village and needed clothes. so I saw snares, no-one using them, so Went to empty a basket full of ropes. Wasn't gonna use them, this lady said Leave them.
No explanation (Even like "Don't use rope" or some short sentence would have been fine). But she said no, put rope back in the basket and left. Bloody rude. This is supposed to be like a survival/building civ for future gens game.. which involves teamwork. Which involves communication.
Jeez. Even the guys with the pigs i tried to explain to.

Yeah I was skeptical of that tbh. it was a well established village, but It was two seperate villages doing this.
I didn't think it was THAT good anyway!
I honestly never bother with pigs, cows i do, but always in a seperate pen.

I did try and explain but was a bit astonished tbh, as I said, these were all in the same pen! Sheep had no room!

Like, Honestly thats the response i got when there were like 12 pigs, only 3 shorn sheep in a tiny pen. I tried to talk to them and they said "RESOURCES! Pigs better because less resources used" Right but sheep give way more. I needed string for backpack for rabbit fur collection.
PLEASE TEACH YOUR KIDS.
Jeez.
I get pigs are good for yum bonus ish. (I dunno really carnitas? taco/burritos?)
But they are NOT better than sheep. Ever.

My computer is slow as heck, and has little to no lag when running OHOL, for some reason it's actually gotten *faster* since the last few updates. If your computer's struggling to run in the current version, that a matter of the computer.
(For reference, My computer is so slow it cannot play Minecraft nor Spelunky)
Disagree, It doesn't lag often for me, but lately it's been more common in hotspots.
My PC runs most things on ultra without a struggle... so that's not it.

Cutting hair shorter would be great actually. When I'm a certain couple of girls, Its actually really hard to click backpack due to my hair literally getting in the way. Hair can kill.

My pet peeve with roads specifically - Its good to have rest stops! Just one wooden board at turns and natural stopping points help.
Another pet peeve is a lack of a surname. Often not my mothers fault.

I enjoy it too. But people are struggling still with berries. This time, keeping them alive due to death. Berries still contribute to yum bonus, so people shouldn't instantly get called griefers for eating one from hand then from bowl. But they do anywaayyy...

I hadn't been killed by snowballs until today thankfully..
Then about 5 times in a row, i have been killed. by snowballs.
There isn't even a defense against it, with knives, you zig zag, with bows and arrows keep moving...
Starvation keep a stash!
But SNOWBALLS?!
I mean, you only die from the cold with frostbite or pneumonia, but all it is, is a snowball fight. Deadly.

Half the fun - for me - is learning things IN the game, not studying a spreadsheet. People like me may be in the minority, but you don't get to tell me how to enjoy myself.
You don't want to teach me? Fine. Go play how you like. But plenty of people love the hell out of teaching (and learning!), and find it the very best part of the game.
I taught someone compost the other day, and as far as gaming experiences go, I'd trade it for all of the "successful" villages you played in that same day.
Noobs are useless, and no amount of enjoyment is gonna bring back the time and food you spent trying to teach them how to make compost. They will doom your lineages, they will eat all your gooseberries, and kill whoever has a bloody knife, explanation or not. In the end, they will do it all over again because thats just how they do, its not they're fault, its just the way of the noob.
Ironically if you kill anyone that you think is a noob, that will actually force noobs to, get this, LEARN ENOUGH TO NOT BE A NOOB, no better motivator then death itself.
You know, its funny. You were a noob once.
I learnt to play the game by watching people in game, or by watching someone teach someone in game on a youtube video.
So... teaching. Its a thing.

Found a horse & cart, loaded it up with 40+ eggs, and then cooked them. Horses are awesome.
How?! Horse and cart can only carry 4 containers... At max you could carry 16 eggs (+4 in your own personal back pack) Unless it was multiple trips?
(The 16 eggs was based on 4 backpacks)
