especially not food, even seen people planting bushes near kilns 2 tile away so the "smith can eat"
also there was some troll planting yew tree near smithy twice in 2 lives
Hmm, I had idea that putting stew/turkey broth at blacksmith should be a habit, cause there are always bowls there.
Today I was making oil pump, but my brother start a race war, I watched as town turned into slaughter and he was stabbed, so I gave up getting kerosene for those idiots, they kill me in the end. Next I was born in ginger village near to that town, my mom told me I am a war leader, so we ran like 4 people and take over that town. It was exciting, you wanna get rid of excitement in this game? Only griefers would have some fun then? I'm gonna be griefed, stabbed, so what, next time I win.
I don't see any evidence that Alec or any other experienced player would have time to roleplay king.
And beside who else in the village will noticed how much Alec did to community?
Vanilla players should have at least zoom mod to know what's going on.
I don't see how it will work exactly, a leader should be aware what town needs and also there should be a force to execute leaders orders, right? I don't get the point yet, maybe someone can clarify it for me?
Okay, there's room at the top of the screen for a second home arrow. I added one up there that points to the bell tower. So you don't need to dig up your home arrow to see the bell tower arrow. You see both at the same time.
Thanks! ![]()
Lasso is non permanent, but "Two Ropes" is permanent, so disassemble lasso is tool action.
Same for bow saw, if you put it back to box game consider it as tool action.
Animals eating other animals, fighting between animals.
Well, family is doomed if they aren't gingers and don't build a bell.
I lived a life where there are none towns along the road to bell (and I spend my whole life on that ride..).
And today I live a life where there was like 7 towns not far away, but all dead from no rubber.
There are gingers and browns pretty near, but can't find themselves.
Even with way stones. IT STILL sucks and we still can't find others becuz it shows us only where is town, not where are people.
Today I lived once as explorer and found no ones (only another family with same skin lol). And I also live as ginger and I said to everyone WAIT FOR THE BELL and let them come here.
Hmm.. cool idea, but I can't think of any advantage of using it, other than just make a peace. Maybe peace that will last for long time.
A bun for ginger, for black maybe irokez, but that would be cool for male character.
This is ridiculous. I destroyed my home marker and bell marker was 7k away. I ride there and... there was NOTHING there. Some village before, without a bell. That marker leads me to nowhere, why?
There was absolutely nothing along the road.
We're too far away. ![]()
Well, nice idea, would be cool to find abandon place and some book about history of town.
I didn't think about it before, but today I was riding to bell town and I had many fertile females in family, so if I had kids I would have sons, right? Not many chances to spread my genes there. ![]()
And for fatherhood I will keep it in cartoon style, no complex genes, your child after mating will have his father's skin.
Beside beans topic… people tend to fill nearly all the bowls, so I need to spent my precious TIME on searching for empty ones, which is like 2 for whole town (if I make new ones they will fill them too). Please leave some empty ones in farm area goddamit. ![]()
-just some thoughts-
I make a sign and pick a name for one of towns and after that I noticed that I CARE about this town more than the others. It's like my own (which is not of course ;P, I didn't build it from scratch or rule it, it's just a feeling).
To avoid boredom we need to do something for ourselves, or in other words be responsible for something that is our own. That's why people like being Eve. In other games we gain experience for our character, here we just need to survive. After surviving and advancing we feel bored. Females without babies sometimes says they wanna die.
Community isn't enough, after surviving and defending we don't share any goal, we are not responsible for community or own it. So it's a dead end because we can't have in OHOL something more than towns with communes.
Nowhere, like our lives. It's just fun.
How long it will take before the town will be abandoned and we moved into another bell town, because of lack of resources or mass griefing. How long usually towns exists?

Maybe islands and make the language specialists only ones who can travel by boat?
Wine is fun and it's been made in advanced / mixed towns. Today I drank it after I made peace with other family. ![]()
More animals - more places where you can't put things down.
Hungry work is a better idea, single griefers woul just die if they cannot prove they are not griefing.
I'm back to the game from a break! This topic means race update is still an issue? ![]()
Griefers would mate with fathers from other races to end their own.
Killing cause depression? I thought it causes joy.
Can fences automatically be fixed at corners when we fix the rest of fence, so we don't have to move outside of property to fix it all?
Maybe I will pretend to be steam noob and do some crazy shit. :>
Today I saw someone teached 'slash die' for about five minutes. They guy didn't speak english very well. Finally someone said he knows spanish and translate the command to the noob. ![]()
WE were so happy from this success.
