Food greifing is already a problem doing this would just make it easier for someone to eat all the food in town, and starve everyone.

Griefer rats getting into the bean supply, or new players not understanding the "nutrition" mechanic, would be just another reason to diversify.

I ment specifically for the diminishing rate of return on how much food something provides.

Food greifing is already a problem doing this would just make it easier for someone to eat all the food in town, and starve everyone.

As eve i only keep one boy and two girls (getting a replacement when one dies). in a big town i keep teo girls and all the boys to prevent overpopulation, and thus death by baby machine.

At least watch honeybunny's first video. He explains how to eat... ive seen a surprising number of people juggling berrys or humping bushes while holding a berry only to starve to death.

I tell them to click on themselves while holding berry but a good 80% dont speak English or dont wanna listen.

Some of them even feed it to me on mistake and starve that feels the worst.

Mabeywe should just start by telling kids how to eat...

I've made that mistake. I told a daughter I'd teach her baking after she'd spent some time on the farm until her food meter was big enough. Went and got her to follow me to the oven and before I even explained about threshing wheat she dropped dead.

Been there before...

#531 Re: Main Forum » New Players Are Getting Left Behind » 2018-05-29 17:02:57

Ive tried to teach kids recently. Even force feeding them as i do it. I haven't had a success story yet. They ither get bored and run off or starve holding a carrot....

Stoning people should be a thing... a very low tech way to kill someone requiring more than one person to commit the act...

Very historically accurate!

I can't understand the logic behind nerfing milkweed. You need a constant supply to replace the constantly decaying packs, clothing, boxes and carts. Storage was a big problem before but now it is even worse. Why do you even need rope to make a wooden box it doesn't make sense?

Metal nails might be a better solution

I expanded the milkweed farm, got soil, did two iron runs, watered harvested and seeded carrots. All while dodging your lazy self hiding behind trees... and only had two kids. Nither of which i raised

ok so i wanted to kill a kid who was picking all the berry bushes in town, so i got a knife and tried to stab him. he walked over my mom and i stabbed her by accident. (also killed the berry eater)

the whole town was in an uproar and they tried to stab me but they couldn't!!

thankfully this gave me time to plead my case, and i was forgiven, but had i been evil i could of used this time to kill the whole town!

i spent the rest of my life begging people to kill me. and many people tried. finally someone was able to, but not until my hair went grey.
