It would be cool to have an educated village
I am enjoying eating the bananas and contracting yellow fever in the jungle. I made palm oil, but no civs yet with a knife to process rubber. Someone take a screen shot when they get there ok?
The word HOW is probably the most spoken word right now. I like that. I wish was born into families with last names and at least three ponds but what can you do? It will get better.
There is a code amongst those who use the forum. Say this code as a baby and you won't be discarded. The code is 'Q'. It means, "I use the forum and know what I'm doing." The baby murder/suicide problem is a social problem that needs to be solved by us.
Also, if you are ever born to me, I keep all of my children. I'm a mom in real life and the whole of society could burn to the ground with me in it before i let harm come to one of my children.
grasslands is actually called woodland or i call it green
this is newb death camp the game. I'm getting worn out.
feel free to add to this one.
Stew Stew its good for the heart
but we need seed
before we start
and three tidy rows
corn and squash and bean we grows
two wet bowls to build a crock
fire it hard to hold the stock
put the squash upon a plate
a hatchet cuts it up so great
shuck the corn and let it dry
while the bean dance keeps you spry
six beans in a bowl
then crush with rock
rinse then add them to the stock
then the corn goes in the bowl
the flint chip cuts it off the roll
then you must add that too
almost ready for that stew!
just add water to the pot
wait until the coals are hot
then on she goes, oh how fun!
feed the town with only one.
Don't make a goddamned lasso
If you're an Eve, name yourself first, then your kids
don't plant rows in the tiles around the forge or oven
Only catch family rabbits
know the recipe for making a bellows and go out and get the stuff
if you don't know what your job is, its to gather branches and firewood
don't bother berrying anyone
You can already do this with a tele-porter.
I found the perfect eve spot, but went out to find iron and realized that the badlands far north, south, and west were all empty. How are we ever going to have railroads? It feels like iron is a rare as gold these days.
I'm an old player as well. I've lived every kind of life. I've been a nomad wandering aimlessly. I've been a queen of a kingdom. I've been Eve to a thousand newb babies. I've applied my life to menial tasks, and I've lived lives of leisure and role play. I have had every job from road construction, to baker, to Shepard, smith and medic. But I have never ever griefed. Why do people think it's fun to destroy what others have built? Never in my hundreds of lives, did I want to hurt my family or neighbors. To griefers I say, grow up or go play fortnite. OHOL is not the place for you.
I have been playing this game for millennia and have not yet crafted every item.
I have had piles of newbs to teach and its a joy.
it's already hard enough that the water dries up and we have to go ten miles to the well.
i would like to lie down in this game. zzzzzzzz
i want horns on the hat and steel breast plates.
love it! You have to stretch and tan leather tho. Soak it in simmering water, tie it into a wood frame and scrape with a flint chip, then let it cure.
Jason, did you say diamonds?
Fish are practical and gambling is very fun and ads some vice to the big cities. I like it.
I was holding an adorable baby skeleton. its leg bones juggled and everything. it was quite a surprise!
Agreed. I like just hangn’ out and watching people. I have made every tool, done every job, and lived in every level of society from eve to queen of the giant apron city. Sometimes all I do now is fertilize berry bushes and carry firewood. Kiss babies and look good in sweaters!
what about hollowing out round logs on a fire and then using them as a pipe to connect wells. It could be put in like a road but using a shovel to burry the pipe. and the water from the connected wells can be collected from any well point. So the more wells you tie together, the wore buckets of water you can pull from your central well.
i was born a Maji in the westside of town. My mom told me we were at war and instilled the importance of not being a traitor. Then, I lived a life happy and free of all of that bs.
I’m a knife distributor. In past lives I have been given the “knife holder” job and I don’t like it. If only one person has the knives, they proliferate. And the only way to heal an arrow wound is with a hot knife. If more people have them, more people can halt murdered griefing. On the flip side, I’m a veteran player and I’ve accidentally stabbed someone in that crazy knife filled city.
