So is the data written to the disk at all? How often? What's the worst loss from a crash?

I'd rather periodically go through a list of new posts and approve/delete them than periodically go through a list of spam reports.

Re:tutorials, why not just have a server dedicated to tutorials and redirect them all there?

If 64bit isn't showing up as an option when creating a new VM, then you need to change your BIOS settings.

What are you running the VM on?

My initial guess would be that you are using the 32-bit image on a 64-bit PC.

Yeah, it's pretty much a waiting game now. He has been working pretty solidly lately on the database optimisations so might have a bit of an email backlog to work through. The moderators don't have any other means of contacting him, so email is as good as it gets.

Also, I added that image on my phone because I wasn't at a computer at the time and wow it's huge. Sorry if that came across as unsubtle

Where is your windows client from? Is it the official client? The server might have data that isn't in the official client yet.
